My wife has been talking nonstop about this place recently and we were in the area so we had to give it a try. It did not disappoint... I have to say the least. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go more often. Only thing is the price unfortunately. It was a bit pricey, so just go there expecting that. Their portion is nice size though, definitely enough for leftovers and I eat eat. We ordered the Pozoloe flight because it went viral and also because we have never heard of it before, such a cool concept! You get to try a little bit of everything. This place is super busy during the weekend but we decided to order to go which is a good decision. We got their medio pazole verde which was full with so much flavors. Everything is given on the side like cabbage and onions. We also got their botano platter which included flatuas which was good but really crunchy and the pork feet were pickled but was good as well. I had this place bookmarked for a while and my friend also went with her family and really liked it, so I finally got to go with my mom. The place is cute, warm, and cozy inside. The staff was very nice and the art inside was fun. We got the pozole flight and enjoyed being able to try all the pozoles although the white one was our personal favorite. What an awesome spot. Parking was a little tricky, street parking is wild. The wait was short for a Saturday morning , 10am ish. We got greeted and seated promptly and politely. The place was clean and well decorated. Very at home vibe. Love that there wasn't music blasting but it is loud in there, it's like being at a family get together. My husband and I visited Peke's Pozole on a Saturday night about an hour before closing, and we were pleasantly surprised! We waited around 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all for a weekend night. The wait staff is rude and unhelpful. I saw someone's child spill a drink, and they literally tossed paper towels at the guest so they could clean it up themselves. Our waitress waited to get her tip and then said they needed our table and basically kicked us out. Took a ride down 55 to the Southwest side to grab some authentic pozole. This place was worth the line. Put our names in line and went next door to grab some Cuban coffee. Parking is difficult but there was fast service very friendly; nice clean place and the flight of pozole was deeelicious. At first I didn't think I liked the white but it was nicely seasoned--all were. The table had oregano and spices and hot sauce. We had the appetizer platter which gave a good mix of things to try including their flautas, fresh and delicious, and their pickled pig feet which are as good as what I remember my mom's to be. I would like to talk about the food first. I had the pozole flight meal and it comes with three types of pozole. You get the red, white and green pozole. Portions are just perfect to be able to try all three pozoles given. The taste of all three pozoles were delicious! I definitely recommend especially on a rainy or cold day. The service of this restaurant could be better the waitress that attended us was kind of MIA during our dine in. We kept trying to call someone for napkins but everyone was a bit busy. Ambiance of the restaurant is very small especially the downstairs part of the restaurant. Owner needs to fix the heater as the restaurant gets cold as people come in and out. Seating is very tight and needs improvement for better flow and comfort. Overall food is good and I was full and happy. I will be coming back for a second try.
