So... This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great which makes me want to go back immediately. Sometimes the food is inedible causing me to stay away for months. It is sad as I do like their options of food and my child will devour his and everyone else's rice. As for service, it is more of the same issues like when it comes to the food. Some staff are kind and welcoming. While some are rude and will talk about the guests inappropriately as well as loudly. For example, my child is not a fan of sauces on his food. I highly recommend Pei Wei Asian Kitchen to vegetarians and vegans! You can get any of their entrees made with tofu instead of meat. As a vegetarian myself, I thought that was awesome. I got the tofu teriyaki and considering this is a fast casual restaurant, it was pretty good! I did not like the veggie spring roll, though. The service was fast and the food came quickly. You order at the front and they bring it to your table within a few minutes. This was perfect because we all arrived hungry. It had been a while since I had been to Pei Wei and my first time visiting this location. The menu was EXTREMELY limited- they were out of a lot of items. The person I was with specifically wanted some kind of chicken and they don't even have it on the menu it anymore. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty; there was only one other couple eating there. We found a table in the back and it was still dirty and needed to be wiped off. This restaurant used to be under P.F Changs and it was really good. We walked in the restaurant on Tuesday at dinner time and there was 3 customers. We should have understood that it was a sign of poor quality then. We ordered a grilled bourbon chicken which was more rice than chicken and the teriyaki chicken was the same with little amount of vegetables. Each dish is 11.79 and $3 for fried rice. It is outrageous for the quality of food. We won't go ever again and rather buy Asian food a Panda Express. read more

Headed south today so I figured I would try a new place. This was my first time here and I have to say I am impressed. The cashier was very friendly and didn't say "Everything is Super here" when I asked. He gave me reccomendations. When I asked for spicy dishes he knew those too. I picked Orange Chicken and he said they could make it aittke spicier, awesome. What I really liked is that they had a salad option instead of rice at no additional cost. You can also add stir fried cauliflower rice, sounds yummy, for an upcharge. I sat outside, it was very cold inside, and the deck is very quaint. The deck is also pet friendly. The server found me by my table number pretty quickly after I ordered. The Orange Chicken was very good, not too much breading, and a little kick. The salad was fresh and I was happy. I squeezed the juice from the warm orange slices onto my salad! For $9.89 out the door, and I'll be back. read more

Awful. Admittedly it's been a few years since my last visit. But what happened to the quality? Sticky, gooey, overly sweet sauces. A few measly over cooked shrimp. Sugar pea pods were so stringy they couldn't be eaten. Warmed up microwave dinners have more substance and better taste. Maybe not, but you get my point when dropping $40+ on very sub par takeout. There are many better options out there. In conclusion, Pei Wei needs to pay better attention to what made them popular and presumably successful a few years ago. The Spicy General Tso's Chicken was too hot, lacked chicken, lacked white meat and once again, the ratio of rice-to-not rice was disappointing.
