    the view over downtown bozeman

Very dog friendly hike! Many dogs off leash so be sure to be okay with dogs for this hike. There were several little trail heads to go off onto or stay on the main trail, but the view was super pretty! There is also an option to stop at a park if you'd like to, or continue on the trail as well! Hike starts off with a incline, then goes to a flat path with a 360 view of bozeman where you can see downtown, lots of pretty wild flowers and the mountains! It did get a little hot, so bring water because there isn't too much shade! would definitely recommend this hike! Bike trails available too off the main path :)

Less than 10 minutes from Downtown Bozeman, this is a great trail if you don't mind getting your heart rate up just a little, you don't mind a lot of people, and you have or like dogs. The beginning and end of the hike is a two foot wide path with a quarter mile of incline and then decline at about 45 degrees. In the middle is a ten foot wide gravel path that is flat and has great views of the valley. Like I said, lots and lots of people and dogs, and if you don't mind that, great 360 degree panoramic views of the mountains. Loved it!

A fantastic park just a stone's throw from downtown Bozeman. The views of Gallatin Valley and the Bridger Mountans are spectacular from here as the park is slightly elevated. You can even see all of Bozeman including the Montana State University campus. Come here in the summer for an early morning jog with the dog or come here during the winter with a sled to zoom down the hill. Great park for all ages, for any season. I suggest to park at Lindsey Park or at the Bozeman Public Library for quick access to the park. Highly recommended.

In town for work, I wanted to get a run in and was in search of some beautiful scenery - I mean, how could I run on a treadmill when I'm in the mountains? I did some searching and came across Peets Hill, which boasted views of Bozeman online - and boy, was that true! After a bit of an incline on a gravel trail, this path - which is human, mountain bike, and dog friendly - puts you in full view of Bozeman and the mountains that surround it. My photos don't even do it justice, and I hear it's a great place to watch the sunset with plenty of benches and scenic overlook spots.

I can't believe this beautiful little bike is right in downtown Bozeman.
