I was super surprised that it didn't because it's a cute place with a few different sections for different activities. There was a large open field with a hill that you could do many things at. I'd prefer to lay a blanket out and relax but you could exercise and play some games there. There was a baseball field with bleachers to watch a hometown game. And there was also a little playground set for the littles that looked like a good time. Overall, a great place to spend some time, especially when the weather was as good as it was when we were in Bozeman.

Ignore Google Maps when it warns you that part of the road here is unpaved for the last leg of the…read moredrive. It's actually recently paved, so you have a smooth ride to the parking lot! The path to the waterfall is also paved with asphalt so it's a smooth walk up and great for strollers. There are two vault toilets at the parking lot, and a small picnic area near the entrance of the parking lot. This is an amazing waterfall. Water cascades down a columnar basalt face so it's particularly stunning. I've seen amazing columnar basalt formations (Devils Tower, Devils Postpile), but none with a water element. It's very memorable. I saw some people trying to scramble up the rocks to get to the top of the waterfall, but I'm not sure how safe that is. From satellite photos it looks like there's just forest up there anyways.

All the way up is paved which makes the experience nicer and easier, if you're not looking to break a leg going up haha. The sunset up there are amazing and all pictures are Instagram worthy!!! I took my 70 year old grandma and she enjoyed the hike and even made it from start to finish. The ride there is a bit intense with many curves so I'd recommend to take a bag for those that may get car sick. I'll be coming back to Montana, just for this beauty!

It's outdoors, so you get that fresh air and open-sky vibe, but they've also set it up with plenty of cool targets that make hitting balls way more fun than just whacking into a field. The staff here is genuinely friendly, and loving the subtle scripture all over. They make you feel welcome whether you're a regular or just stopping by for the first time. Great place to work on your swing, hang out with friends and family, or just blow off some steam. Haven't tried the food yet but I heard it's the bomb. Definitely worth coming back for more.

That judgment cost Cottonwood more than just our business--we frequently recommend courses to other players, and this one is now off the list. If you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable game of golf, look elsewhere. We'll be doing the same--and encouraging others to follow suit.

We were driving past the Madison River and saw all these people in inner tubes, floating down the…read moreriver. Then we saw the Madison River Tubing truck and so I looked into them and what they had to offer. It looked and sounded so fun, so I decided to book it online. The process was easy and smooth. The website did say each person needed a Montana Conservation License, which I had to purchase separately on another website. It was easy enough, however, I was never asked to present it. Maybe it was just in case. They also have coolers, dry bags, waterproof Bluetooth speakers, towels and waterproof phone cases for rental. We arrived on the day of our excursion at the "California Corner" and checked in. I had added a Bluetooth speaker and dry bag to our reservation. The river was flowing really fast while we were there, so our float was only about 90 minutes, but it was a lot of fun! You have to watch out for rocks and brush, but other than that it was a really fun and relaxing time. That water was a little chilly, but it felt good on such a hot day! The staff are excellent--very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Madison River Tubing.

The drive to the put-in is so beautiful I recommend that option. The company is well-organized, safety conscious and helpful at the put-in and take out. It's a wonderful way to experience the Madison River and the scenery. And, you will cool off! Take beer if you like but have a designated driver.
