Tried Peet's for the first time. Ordered iced caramel macchiato large and it was perfect. Staff were nice too! Very friendly The place is clean and I think I will stop by this place again when I'm in the area

I have lived in Oxnard and now Ventura for 1.5 years and I have driven by this location many times but never bothered to stop by. Today I was on a break and decided to give it a try. I ordered an iced Pimpkin Chai. It was really tasty. I appreciate chai drinks in which you can actually taste the spices. I almost forgot to take a photo. Sorry for the half drunk drink!

You know the crew at Peets on Victoria care about their customers when you lose your keys and you still get your coffee delivered. Thanks Jess and Jazmine. Always the best service and Haviana at this location!

FULLY VEGAN breakfast sandwich -- yum!

Although I typically support small business and don't frequent chains, this Peet's gets a round of applause from me. Good service, consistent product, clean inside. I love that they have vegan options... especially the breakfast sandwich! It's tastes great, low calories and so convenient. Vegan pastries as well! Bravo!

Pete's is always good. I have never had a bad drink or treat. Although it's a chain their flavors are very different from Starbucks or coffee bean (which I also go to). I really love their seasonal flavors throughout the year as well. Sometimes their things are a miss for me but it's like that everywhere (like their current jelly-yuck). Their almond croissant is my favorite warmed up and their horchata oat latte is my self treat. Their basic dark roast coffee is also delicious if you want simple. It's pretty tiny inside, which is a little bit of a drawback, but I don't often hang out and coffee shops anyway. However, it's an OK place if you need to do a little bit of work or want to sit and sit on your coffee. My dad and his buddies like to hang out there. They have a lot of regulars, which I think is really cute. Their drinks can be pretty pricey. So I don't come here often but I do as a treat to myself. And unfortunately, the location does often have a lot of homeless people around it. If that kind of thing deters you or bothers you. Sometimes they can get pretty busy and it seems like they're going very slow, but really your order just takes a long time because they are so busy. They do work really fast. And they really know their drinks, so if you ask them, what is in some thing or for a recommendation, they're very knowledgeable. Nine out of 10 times they're also very nice and funny. There's the occasional worker who's probably just tired and a little bit grumpy or short or doesn't wanna talk and that something you'll find anywhere.

Fast & friendly service Clean & open store Ordered on the app & was ready when we walked in The best coffee by far!!!! The coffee so smooth & of course delicious!

Literally one of the only coffee houses that has a legitimate plant based breakfast sandwich. If you are a vegan I understand your frustrations with the top coffee chain in the U.S. coming out with a sandwich but used real egg and real cheese. Peet's Coffee and Tea came in and saved the day! They have not only one but two Fully Vegan breakfast sandwiches. They also offer plant based drinks. What more can a Vegan ask for! Now I am not fully Vegan but I most certainly appreciate the lifestyle it has its perks. Thank you Peet's for providing a healthier track.

Menu. They have a lot more choices if you use the app.

Stop paying $5 for a cup of poor quality sugared, burned coffee. Peet's is where the real coffee lives. Spend less. Get better.

I'm excited to see what the owners decide to do with the business - and see how it evolves. I'd love to see it become more family friendly in the am and more adult in the pm. I came on Sun. afternoon, and it was super quiet and chill. I got their unique Shakerato- a shaken espresso served in a sleek martini glass. The shakerato was so good and elegantly presented. Pastries are from Cafe Ficelle. The lead barista is of the school that takes pride in crafting each drink and not letting the machine automatically do all the work. The brother sister owners bring their culinary wine and beer experience to their cafe, but they invested into learning about coffee. Sips uses Beacon roasters who actually train cafe baristas on how to produce the best shots using their beans, so it's a true coffee collaboration. The cafe vibe is bright, airy and cozy. The owner was there and we chatted for awhile- he said they are ultimately happy to be a neighborhood local cafe- they're not trying to be Starbucks and be super high volume. They want to serve the East end of Ventura, which does not have a lot of mom/pop style cafes and restaurants.

They offer a number of drinks & coffee, and pastries as well but I ordered their Bisco latte/cookie butter latte and this did not disappoint. I've never had anything like this before I loved how rich the Biscoff flavor was and they also add some kind of a special Hawaiian milk to it which I didn't mind but I also asked for this to be made in almond milk as well with no whipped cream. The moment I took a sip it was just Rich flavors bursting in my mouth. The only problem that I had with this place is that it's not closer to me, which is in the South Bay. Hint, hint I highly recommend.

I've visited both the Ventura and the Thousand Oaks locations, and my experience has been consistent. To me, this is a high-end Dunkin' Donuts and I don't even go there. The last time I had Dunkin' was about five years ago back home in Minnesota. I don't enjoy it because it tastes more like sugar with a splash of coffee rather than actual coffee and that's exactly how I feel about this place. I honestly don't understand why it's so popular. Most of the drinks taste extremely sweet. If you're looking for a sugary treat, a cheat-day drink, or something for your birthday, then this might be your spot. But if you genuinely enjoy coffee and want something balanced and bold, this probably isn't it. The only drinks I would personally order again are the cold brew or the Maui Mocha and even then, they're still on the sweeter side. One practical note: the Ventura location often has lines out the door. I'd recommend ordering online and picking up if you decide to try it. Overall, I'd say go try it for yourself but manage your expectations if you're a true coffee lover.

I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently.
