Less milk!
Sara S.

I usually like this Pete's a lot but they tend to be slow at to go drinks.. or if the barista is on time and drink is prepared, the person moving them to the 'to go area' is behind in moving them where we can pick them up.. but most importantly the last THREE times i have been, my iced mocha had one inch LESS milk than its supposed to.. maybe because i asked for no whip so they didn't add the milk?! No other peets does that. Also, they have some homeless visitors (surprising for location i know) and the other day the smell was terrible and no one was doing much about it. (Spray?!)

Unmarked bin where everyone is dumping everything! :(

Almost environment friendly! * There are no recycle bin to throw into, for bottles, papers etc. Pros, - Horchata oat latte and the herbal trees are must try here. - Baristas are working hard and always welcoming with a smiling face. - Few tall seats in the middle and few outlets on sides - WiFi, restroom

Very Busy but they run like it well oiled machine. The inside is super clean and they have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is also very nice and they have lots of cool things to buy on Display. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte for the first time in my life, "with 1/2 & 1/2 cuz that's how I roll" the barista asked me what kind of milk I would like before making it "I thought that was really nice of her" the pumpkin spice flavor was light and rich, simply deliciously beautiful.

Cozy little location in menlo park! The staff is super friendly, coffee is always amazing and fresh. They have nice ambiance for sitting and working or just reading a book. Location is amazing, at the corner of the block overlooking the streets.

Great coffee. Bad remodel. Like ordering from a bathroom. I think the grey floor is the worst part.

Outdoor seating is available under the canopy of Sycamore trees and California oak trees in modern cobble stone tile pavers and gravel. I was really excited to try my first coffee flight. The flight was presented by the barista in 4 on shot glasses on a wood tray; starting with a shot of espresso, piccolo, drip filtered coffee and lastly iced filtered coffee. I forget the name of the exact source and blend - although the initial encounter is acidic, a full bodied flavor takes over and lingers in the palette in a beautiful balance. This visit and full experience made my afternoon!!

There are pastries from The Midwife & the baker, some had run out but they still had some choices. I just got an ice coffee, you add your own milk that is off to the side. I also like how there is simple syrup you can add and some yummy looking thick sugar. I got the whole wheat chocolate chip cookie bc I was craving something sweet and eh, I wasn't in a health mood, I need a regular chocolate chip cookie, this did not hit, but I'll def be back when I'm in the area!

The menu selection is nice and simple, offering matcha and hojicha options. There are also small desserts like cheesecakes, cake rolls whole or slice and tiramisu. This tea shop is nice to go to after work to relax and decompress for a bit. Items my coworker and I ordered- * Hojicha Strawberry Latte - light sweet, soy milk and less ice. Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

What they represent to many is premium, high grade coffee, espresso based drinks, fresh pastries, light eats, and even wine and beer in a community like setting. In the past, I've usually ordered their Vanilla Latte, which by default is not overly sweet, and has a rich espresso aroma and taste. It's been some time, but I've also had their Cinnamon Roll and that was soft, moist and the icing was heavenly. Service had always been friendly and efficient. As for seating, the layout has booths, countertop seating and some tables, all laid out in a long hallway design.

I was looking for a cafe where I could get some laptop work done, chill with a friend, have some good caffeinated drinks and maybe a small snack. The vibe was perfect for all of the above. But, the one thing that caused issue for me was the wifi. It was limited on time (I think you can sign up to use it for 2+ hours and there were few outlets available unless you were lucky enough to sit at a seat next to one. And for some reason, I had difficulty getting connected to their wifi on my laptop that day. I didn't get any work done. And I really needed to get work done. Love the cafe but wish it was more tech supportive for work.
