Our waitress was outstanding and shared the history of the location with us. She gave us great drink recommendations. The manager offered to let us have an anniversary dessert in the Speakeasy downstairs...it felt so cool to be whisked away to a private, members only, lounge for our final drinks and dessert. Thank you, Barton House, for a wonderful evening!

The chicken fettuccine alfredo was a solid pasta and came in a large portion. I also got a glass of moscato. My friends enjoyed the chicken piccata, triple delight, and shrimp scampi. When I made a reservation over the phone and also when I arrived, I was told by the hostess that there would be something special done for the birthday occasion. I saw in other reviews that they give a small dessert with a message, but they did not do anything of the sort. Our server was extremely slow, and the birthday dessert never came. This was a huge disappointment when I specifically chose this restaurant to celebrate the occasion.

The taco was crispy but a little greasy and overloaded with cheese. The ground beef needed more flavor. The enchiladas were also drowned in cheese and sour cream, and while the chicken was salted, it lacked flavor. The rice was bland. The charro beans were easily the highlight of the meal. They had the perfect texture--not too firm or too soft--and a rich depth of flavor that stood out from everything else on the plate. I would happily order those again. Overall, the food was decent, but I was hoping for bolder, more balanced flavors.

I am giving four stars because I would have appreciated if the restaurant was cleaner. We sat down at the open of the lunch shift and the booth seats were sprinkled with the crusts of prior meals. The women's restroom needed some elbow grease too. That being said, we still enjoyed ourselves and the food! We had the hot pot and left very little from our table order! The food (meat, starch, herbs/veggies) was fresh, the service was patient with a bunch of newbies and the atmosphere was jovial. I'm coming back with my family (hopefully for a mimosa Monday or more bubble tea) and my office-mates want to come back for the barbecue! I highly doubt Kpot will disappoint us!

Spent $60 on food for two, that barely fed one. Considering the garnish( if given) ,potatoes, pitas and sauce, are minimum in cost. Meat should have been a bit more generous.
