He never tried to sell us on anything but he was always available when we had product questions and was quick to share his expert knowledge and advice. Whenever we approached him during our showroom visit, he was super responsive and always got us the answers we needed. Before Ferguson's, we stopped by a more conveniently located appliance store and had a pretty crap experience. The salesperson we approached was too busy surfing the internet at his desk to even get up and help us. He half-answered a couple of questions from his chair before we decided to leave. It wasn't the kind of service I was looking for when I'm trying to spend some $$. (Okay...rant over.) Back to Raj--he made what could have been a pretty stressful and expensive process feel easy like a Sunday morning. He took great care of us every step of the way and we ended up purchasing our entire kitchen appliance package from him: wall ovens, range hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. Many items have options to customize fabrics and wood. They carry American Leather recliners which are my all time favorite. Small footprint and so comfortable. All of the colorful fiesta dinnerware is still there. As is the huge assortment of white dinnerware, bowls, serving platters, ramekins, pitchers and accessories. Plus simple glassware covering all types of drinks - water, juice, white wine, red wine, champagne, martini, margarita, highball - so you can buy the type and quantity you need, and they all go together. Shelves of small appliances, lots of baking pans and tools, dish towels, aprons, kitchen gadgets (always my favorite) and barware, too. Plus lots of local and national brand pantry staples. Since it's summer, they had a large variety of outdoor dining tables, bistro and conversation sets, with recliners and stack chairs also available. Not every store can have exactly what you want. We weren't even sure if Morlan's had the correct parts. I would go back to Ferguson's again. They are a plumbing super-store geared to professionals and highly-skilled DYI'ers. It runs at a quick pace - you're in, you're out; definitely no frills. It feels like there's an expectation that you need to know what you want and not to expect the clerks to help you out too much, and I got the impression this was probably likely company policy and might add some stress to the employees' workday. But Ron, who is a total pro, doesn't necessarily enjoy his visits here. He visibly relaxed at Geo Morlans, where he could get help and the correct parts with a bit of conversation and laughter. The clerks at Ferguson are a good deal less seasoned than those at Morlans and I think this causes stress for the customer and clerk alike. The Ferguson employees didn't seem to have answers to questions as easily as the Morlan employees. If you are a pretty experienced DIY/home improvement or pro plumbing person, Ferguson will serve you very well. If you're less experienced or enjoy more contact or talk, Geo Morlans is probably the easier place for you to go.

I did that and the people at the store were super helpful. Our tank is discontinued but having some great research the ferguson's staff found a replacement. The price for a new tank and inside parts at the big box was $100 or more. I walked out of ferguson happy and only spent $51 and much less time, They let me know to come back if there were any issues. BONUS - they disposed of the broken tank
