Memorial Day weekend 2026! I came in and looked around. i Was asked if I needed help and so glad I accepted it! Jack P. was able to give me an accurate square footage ( my calculations were off) and help me put a list together of items I would need as well as optional items to help optimize the process. Being a home owner doing my first flooring job went a little intimidating to excited to start. So many questions were answered and the time taken to understand my end goal. I feel 100% satisfied with my purchase, and with my service from the time I walked in to the time Sean loaded up my items on 5/26! HIGHLY recommend the service, knowledge and product! Jantzen Beach location is do g it right!! Thank you!!! read more

DeShonna and Amanda were very helpful in helping me choose a color grout and seal for my kitchen backsplash. Originally, I was interested in gray, after meeting with them, I went with sandstone- beige/ grey to give it a warmer feel. They helped me find the product in the store too! Thank you!!!! read more

They have a great selection, reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff! So rare to get all 3 these days. Megan the lead designer is fabulous. She's helped me with 2 projects recently. She is kind and patient and really knows her stuff. Especially impressive for someone so young. read more

Due to return policy being changed you can not return any single tiles, you can only return boxes that are dirt free. As someone who buys hundreds of thousands of dollar in tile a year, I don't think a business should offer to sell individual tiles without a return policy. read more

They don't stand behind their product. And they are dishonest. I bought 2000sf of waterproof flooring, installed 75% of it and noticed water damage in 3 separate areas. I immediately stopped the install and contacted them. They wanted me to wait 3 weeks before they would send someone out to inspect it. I decided to not wait because I didn't want a floor that was not waterproof. I took pictures of everything and save all the damaged pieces. After submitting my warranty claim, they never sent anyone out, and denied me based on the pictures I submitted. They made up a story about how I must have a water leak under my floor. The manager "Jared" promised me that he would give me free transition strip for my new floor that I bought. Then a week later he said that he never said that. I will never shop here again, and I tell all my customers about my experience and tell them not to shop here either. Typical corporate America not caring about you. Don't shop here, you've been warned. read more

They have a great selection, and for the most part, good, friendly employees. I had an issue w/paying shipping. I don't believe that just bc their warehouse doesn't have enough of my item, I should pay for it to be shipped, ESPECIALLY when I'm buying $4,000.00 worth of tile. Unacceptable. I'd be interested to know just how many orders have to be shipped bc they 'don't have the room in their storehouse'. I would shop there again if they stop charging the customer for transport down from Washington. Until then, I suggest making the effort to find what you want elsewhere. read more

Everyone at the store is very helpful except for Jerette or however you spell his name. I went with friends to get some tile and he has the worst uncaring attitude. He doesn't look like he wants to do his job and when I was there he just seemed to be chatting up the blonde girl in the design section near the front of the store. Everyone else has been helpful and I would believe rightly so if you're going to spend thousands on tiling and grout and the likes, but he has this attitude of a child being forced to do something they don't want to do. read more

Customer service after the sale is terrible. Mistakes they make will come out of your pocket, not theirs. That's their "policy."

Love this place- we needed this 20 years ago! Who needed Hooters at Jantzen Beach? Full size pieces to view..with most items in stock same day- even big orders..designers on staff to help with selection. Real- life vignettes of all kinds of tile looks- showers, kitchens, etc for you to see finished looks. No other flooring store comes close to what they offer. Id give 10 stars if it was a option! read more

Generally a good visit. This time was not that great. I think it was a Tuesday afternoon. Walked in and there was a group of employees with one obvious "leader"'of the conversation all complaining about their job. Mainly schedules and hiring practices. It was off putting. No one offered to help me. I walked around the store looking for one specific item and no one asked me if I needed help. read more

I want to send a shout out for a young associate at Floor and Decor in PDX... her name is Ruth and she was great! Helpful and had a nice manner as I struggled to figure out how I wanted to proceed with picking out materials for my bathrooms! She stood with me and offered her thoughts without pushing me to hurry or pick out something she may have preferred. Very sweet young woman!! I wish her well in her future career!! read more

An extremely helpful store for all things tile related. The staff are super knowledgeable and able to recommend products. Every time we go here, we learn something new, buy the exact products we need, and comment on how wonderful and genuinely friendly the staff members are. A well-run store. Prices are very good too. Overall, our go-to. Love this place! Thank you to all the associates who make this store so awesome and pleasant to visit. read more

Most annoying flooring store in all of Portland. Even after you buy here, good luck picking up. Long waits, rude employees, dumb "store policies", forgot your ID, too bad you can't pick up, have your family in the car while picking up? Too bad everyone has to get out "store policy". Just save yourself time and money and shop elsewhere. read more

Kim was patient, super knowledgeable and helped us get every item we needed for our project. I will definitely be back for our next tile project. 10/10 experience! read more

We want to give a big shout to Shirley Weis the designer who was so helpful with our bathroom remodel. We were not sure exactly what we wanted, but with the questions that Shirley asked us about the space in the bathroom and what we were trying to do. She directed us to the exact products from tile for the shower the tile we needed for the backl splash around the sink. Even ideas on lighting. We could not have done it without her. A few things about Shirely, she is very knowledgeable not only the products she is also very knowledge about design, colors, sized and shapes of products that will set off any room you are remodeling, putting new rooms in she is the go too. In a few months we will be remodeling the master bath and we know for sure we will go to Floor & Decor and of course Shirley will be out go to designer. Karen read more

Good prices, good range of stock, and always friendly staff who go out of their way to help you find what you need

Great selection at the Jantzen Beach store. Best part was the employee who helped us pick everything out. KAT was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Honestly we were lost and had no idea where to start. Then we found KAT who was able to ask the right questions and helped us find coordinating tiles for two bathrooms. We would have been there for hours but Kat made it painless and quick. read more

The good: There is quite a selection and I found tile that worked for me. The price was also reasonable. The bad: their customer service is pretty awful the two times I've been there. The first time, they were not able to answer any questions regarding the tile I was considering. The second time, I was standing in line in the checkout waiting for the person in front of me to check out. The customer and check out person just left me hanging and walked off. I had a simple 3 minute return and he basically ignored me. I had to go back in line and wait for the other check out person to finish with their customer. read more

While their tile is beautiful, do NOT use their service pros. Pro is not exactly what I would call them. They quickly took our money and then put us off for our weeks for our installation after we had scheduled over a month in advance. Absolutely would never use them again. read more

Shirley helped from beginning to end with my kitchen remodel on a home we're renovating to sell. I came in for new countertops and she helped me pick out everything!! Cabinet colors, backsplash, floor. Her eye for design is out of a magazine! I like to think I have a pretty good eye as well but she took it to the next level! She's an absolute MUST HAVE for my flips! I wish I would have met her years ago. She is priceless! read more

We visited the Floor and Decor store at 11919 N Jantzen Drive., Portland, Or. 97217 on the advice of our contractor. We were very impressed with the show room and staff. We made 3 visits and each time was a pleasure. Great Selection and love the bath and shower displays. Eric & Bobby, staff members there, were very helpful and knowledgeable. Found the perfect tiles for our new bathroom. We can not recommend them or this store highly enough. It was a pleasure. read more

We recently purchased 1200 sq ft of water proof laminate flooring. We were assisted by Armando. He was very knowledgeable of all the product lines, and had past experience as an installer. We purchased in stock flooring and it was neatly stacked on two pallets and they loaded it into the back of our pickup truck with a forklift. We did need to make two trips as each pallet was very heavy, but we're able to save some sales tax money. Armando was very outgoing, friendly and had no problem spending a lot of time explaining the specs of each type of flooring. He also made sure the main warehouse had enough boxes for our small remodel and we were able to pay and arrange pickup online. The store has displays of almost every product they carry and also has most everything you might need for installation. We would definitely recommend this place. read more

Great selection of tile for a variety of projects. We worked with Shirley Wies, designer and she came up with a gorgeous plan for our Master Bathroom shower design. She also picked out the perfect backsplash for our kitchen. Shirley's skill is excellent and we could not have picked out anything nearly as awesome without her design skills and artful eye. Definitely recommend scheduling an appointment with her! read more

Kim Poff was so helpful. She helped us completely design our bathroom and kitchen. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She listened to what our needs were. My tile contractor sent me to Floor and Decor for the tile for my bathroom shower redo. He much preferred this store to Lowe's or Home Depot. The store is new and spacious and has more choices than one can imagine. The store also has outstanding service. In my three trips, I worked with Tina, Vincent and Jason. They all took all the time needed to understand what I was trying to do and go over options with me. They were patient and knowledgeable. Do go here instead of the usual home good places. Floor and Decor was a wonderful shopping experience for me. read more

I would give F & D a 5 star if review was only for product selection and pricing. Most likely, they can't be beat. BUT, unfortunately I feel the service is quite lacking when it comes to getting questions answered. We were looking for a specific tile that was on the upper display wall--a nice woman was trying to help us, but couldn't find it. She pointed to things that were obviously not the same, telling me "I think this is it" (I was looking for something about 4" wide, she pointed to a tile 16" wide!!). Seemed like she wasn't really paying attention. Then I said, maybe we could ask a Manager and she told me she was! DIdn't offer to ask anyone else. Next, I asked someone a question about honed vs. polished descriptions on their display and I don't think he knew what I was talking about. Didn't offer to get any further help. All I wanted to know was if it didn't say "honed" should I assume It's polished? So, I think it's a great option for anyone looking for tile, but definitely don't expect the level of service or knowledge that you would get at a specialty tile store. I hope F&D offers more training so they can up their game on product knowledge and/or at least have the smarts to go ask someone else. read more
