The communication was excellent, the crews were very hard working and precise. With every unexpected thing that came up (we expected the unexpected when remodeling a 50 year old house), both Dustin and Mike from 4M were extremely responsive, did a great job of laying out our options, cost, schedule etc. I also cannot say enough great things about Aurel and his crew. The work ethic and attention to detail were extremely impressive. Most of all - because we were living in the house throughout the remodel (turning our primary suite into a pseudo-kitchen/dining/family room) - they were extremely respectful and helped keep the rest of our house clean and functional to the extent possible. That made a huge difference in our overall experience throughout the process. Highly recommend and we will definitely use them for future projects!

It also took a few complaints and having them redo their work to get it right. I asked them to install a new kitchen faucet for me and within a week, the fitting was loose and not functioning properly. They came out to fix it and about a month or so later, the same issue came up. He said he would send someone out to fix it again and never did, and never called or messaged me back. The owner is a nice guy and so are his employees. Very respectful workers. However, when you are a business and you say you are going to do something, you do it or you reach out to your customer to tell them why it's delayed. This company has left a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to contractors. If you're looking for a contractor, I highly advise you look elsewhere.

I just needed the labor to rebuild the bathroom. The day before he was supposed to show up he sent a contract with a higher price also asking for 1/2 down-payment. This was never discussed. I asked why he needed a down payment and he just said it was standard. It makes no sense that it was needed since I have all the materials. He wouldn't even explain why the price had gone up. Changing terms last minute when I'm without a bathroom is downright shady and coercive. Absolutely would not recommend working with this business.

Only several months after they installed the bathtub, the caulking they used around the tub cracked and disintegrated. And, I learned today from a plumber that the bathtub itself was not put in properly-- they did not use a mortar bed! We hired Isaac and team to replace our kitchen counter tops, install tile back splash, and install…read morenew kitchen sink/faucet. We have a smaller kitchen (about 25 sq ft of counter top space). Photos show before on the left (or top), and after on the right (or bottom). The work was completed March 2024. Isaac was honest, straight forward, patient, and quick to respond to questions or concerns. His recommendations (e.g., 3cm thick quartz counter top), though expensive, were high-quality and ultimately a decision we do not regret. The sub-contractors were respectful and took their time, and did excellent work. Some additional details: For insurance purposes, we wanted the invoice of the kitchen counter tops. After several requests, Isaac was able to get this to us. We suspect the delay on this was due to the subcontractor: The invoice was issued by the vendor (Architectural Surfaces), addressed to the counter-top subcontractor, and had to be obtained from the subcontractor. Isaac was very professional, patiently replying to our several requests, and ultimately delivered the invoice. The project start date was delayed about 2-3 days due to cutting/delivery of the counter tops, but Isaac was quick to let us know this and quick to reschedule the start date. The counter tops and sink were installed in about 1-2 days, and the tile back splash and detail work took about 2 more days. I believe the work started on a Thursday and was completed by Sunday. Delays like these may not work for some people, but they were not a problem for us; it was very convenient that Isaac's team could come in on the weekend to complete the work. We did not get other bids on this kitchen-counter remodel, but we did have Isaac submit a bid for a master-bath remodel. Comparing his bid to two others, we can say his pricing is competitive.

Working with Jose, you'll very quickly realize how honest he is. My home was built in 1902, so there were obviously some challenges. Jose would contact me, discuss the issue, and offer several IN CODE options. He impressed me with his knowledge of county and state codes. Again, HONESTY!! His quote was one of best I received, but I still would have chosen his company, due to the way he presents himself. I found myself at home with some health issues on some days while they worked, and to be honest, it was very amusing, and relaxing for me. I would hear the music playing, and one of his crew members would suddenly break out singing to the song that was playing. Things like that showed that they were enjoying life, just working away, and happy. I also asked Jose to quote a roof for my house. Again, he was THE ONLY guy to actually get on my roof and measure things. I could hear him stomping around, checking the integrity of the plywood. No one else even got up there. So, if you want an honest, hard working construction team, these are the guys to contact!! Jose also has some fantastic referrals for the work he doesn't do. His paint contractor referral was the best. I would add a photo, but it just doesn't post correctly. It doesn't do the work justice.
