We had TGR design and install this pergola, and the experience was excellent from start to finish…read more Martin took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space and designed something that fit both the layout of the yard and the style of the house. This wasn't a pre-fab or generic solution, it feels custom and well thought out. The installation was clean and professional. Posts are perfectly set, the structure is solid, and the attention to detail really shows. Everything feels sturdy, intentional, and built to last. This pergola completely transformed our outdoor space and turned an unused area into a functional and inviting gathering spot. Communication was easy throughout the project, and it's clear Martin takes pride in his work. Highly recommend TGR and would absolutely use them again for future projects.

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

I really enjoyed talking with him as did my mother-in-law. And then I never heard anything back from him. I figured he was busy so I gave him a couple weeks. A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

I received a response from Tim who came to the site, inspected the project and even agreed to proceed/provided a verbal estimate. Despite this, he then stopped answering my messages and calls. I assume that this project ultimately wasn't worth his time but this is a business not a dating app. Communication should be a basic requirement and they fell flat here.

The Assistant Carpenter was also extremely conscientious when it came to dismantling the windows, frames, and wood work. Jorge was replaced by Sergey to do cutting for the final three days of construction and finish work. The final product was worth every minute. All of the joints were airtight. Each miter cut was exact. John is a cabinet maker and it is evident every time I look at my new windows. They were able to maintain the visual harmony of design that you find in some of your nicer 100 plus year old Craftsman houses. They came to us with glowing references from acquaintances and surpassed what were already high expectations. Thank you, James, John, Jorge, and Sergey. We will call you for our next project.

Leticia and Matthew (Noel) showed up to my mother's house threatening her that I have to take this post down. I will not be intimidated into taking a review down for a business. Leticia, I'd love to meet in person Police report has been filed, let's go 2.6K views on the last post, love We are looking to replace my disabled mom's roof and have gotten multiple bids with a good understanding of how much it will cost. Westview construction llc quoted my mom less than half of what other contractors were bidding, which sounded fantastic but also seemed a bit unrealistic with materials and disposal alone coming in higher than what they were charging. I told my mom to ask a few more questions with this being too good to be true. Leticia, the Westview Construction owner's wife, responded to my mom's uncertainty by saying she can raise the price from 4k to 10k and raise their prices to "make you feel more comfortable". And don't let me get started with the lien Leticia wanted to put on my mom's home for the original 4k quote. Anyway, I didn't feel comfortable with any of this and tried to call Leticia and Westview Construction myself. They won't answer the phone or respond to voicemails. What respectable business tells the customer they will more than double the original quote to make you feel better? That was the most unprofessional response I have ever seen from a business. Needless to say, if you are looking for a roof repair or contractor I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Westview construction llc period. We found a different company that is very trustworthy and are moving forward with them. Leticia, I will make it clear that you are taking advantage of disabled and elderly. This is unacceptable and you have been reported to the BBB.
