Although (as so often with reconstruction) more problems due to leakage were discovered as the project progressed, leading to a longer project time than expected, I always felt I was in good hands. When I lived in Salem, I was solely responsible to care for my house, with annual cleaning and refinishing the deck, installation of brand new basement windows, roof repairs involving chimney flashing, and RHMS painters did the entire house-painting two times during the years I owned the property--no easy matter, because I kept to the venerable house's 1930's themed decor throughout, which required detailed trim to front and rear porch and deck pillars.
