He is a perfectionist who does not cut corners. He makes sure every square inch of hardwood flooring, trims, moldings, vents, are done to his high standards resulting in a showroom level final product. He is an excellent communicator as well, laying out the exact plan for each day of work and giving us detailed advice on how to maintain our floors. His price is extremely fair for the level of workmanship he produces. See attached photos of our original 1960 white oak floors. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend him for anyone who needs flooring work.

Vlad and his team are extraordinary in more ways than I can probably describe in a (brief) review…read more He and his team stepped in during a complicated and very demanding bathroom repair and remodel, and in every way, at every iteration and step of managing the project distinguished himself as easily the best contractor that my wife and I have ever worked with. And that is having built two homes and many remodels as well as construction projects outside of our own homes. Vlad and his brothers and the people he hires to work alongside him are the most professional and meticulous craftsmen we have ever worked with. They are profoundly respectful of our home and workspace, and there was not a single instance where we worried about damage to our home, as they made sure every surface was protected and clean at the end of every day. To say that they take their workmanship seriously is an understatement. They hold themselves to a standard that is unlike any I have ever experienced. At many points during the project without being asked, they redid framing and other elements of the project so that their own work would not be compromised in the slightest. I could write volumes about how they took a very challenging project potentially fraught with many potential wrong turns and brought it to completion with such calm and respectful competency that my wife and I still comment almost daily on how good of an experience it was. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone.

Lyubomir and his sons were able to come and measure our floors, give suggestions and a realistic bid to complete the job in a very short window of time. We visited the store several times with lots of questions, and he answered every one of them patiently and pleasantly. We picked out our carpet and tile and arranged installation. Ron made a measuring error on the carpet order, but as soon as he caught it, he owned it and fixed it right away. The carpet installers were quick, efficient, and polite. The tile work turned out beautiful, genuinely great craftsmanship. What really stood out, though, was this: when we got the estimate for the carpet installed, we couldn't afford it. We told Ron we'd come back and pick something cheaper. He said, "No, don't bother, I'll talk to my supervisor and get you a discount so you can have the carpet you actually like." And he did. Overall, a great experience from start to finish, and we love the results.

We decided to pay a little bit more to have the two rooms done on different days, so that we would have space to move furniture one room at a time, avoiding having to haul anything up and down stairs. Paulson's preparation recommendations were very helpful - we knew ahead of time to clear any and all artwork on walls between the front door and the rooms being carpeted. We are very happy with the results. Just FYI, the parking lot does not have an entrance from SE Grand, and Salmon is one way, so circle the block to park.
