When weather permitted the painting to start, they started and finished everything within four days. He was very professional and detail oriented. They removed or protected all of the little fixtures around the house--things we hadn't even thought about. Teo patched up some places where the wood siding was peeling, using a special primer to help the wood hold together better. Truly full service. He was also very flexible and accommodating with our needs. Here's one example: there was one part of the trim that we weren't sure if we should paint it the trim color or the house color. We were feeling indecisive but Teo was patient as we thought it through, and he even sent us photos of the progress while we were at work so we could better visualize it and make a more informed decision. He also shared his opinion when we asked for it, which helped us feel more confident in our choices (it's a big deal to redo the whole look of your house!). I'm so glad we accepted his recommendations--they ended up looking great! On top of the excellent painting job, Teo really went above and beyond our expectations. For example, the wood trim at the base of our garage door had rotted away over the years. He pointed this out and explained that prior to painting it, he would cut out the crumbling parts and replace the bottom sections with fresh pieces of wood. The results were beautiful! And on top of that, he voluntarily fixed two separate pre-existing issues with our front door so that it would close and latch better. Is quote was reasonable; not the lowest and not the highest. His staff was polite, efficient with time and made sure the work area was cleaned up each day, making sure the gate to the back yard was always shut to ensure the safety of our new puppy. In the busiest time of the year, Carlos kept us informed on when they anticipated to start on our project. The project actually started sooner than I had anticipated and I had not selected the house colors! He recommended using Benjamin Moore on Powell and to work with their color consultant. She was amazing. Carlos also went out of his way to show me pictures and to bring color samples by the house to help in the decision making process. Having to travel prior to final color selection was difficult. Carlos was flexible, rearranging the order of painting, to accommodate travel and to ensure that we would be happy with the final color selection. Once the project started he did a thorough walk around identifying rotting regions around windows and doors and personally replaced rotten wood and caulking all holes, cracks,etc. The end product is beautiful. We went with a beautiful, rich, blue with cream trim and black accents that compliment the style of our home. He and Ben showed up on time, were energetic and established great rapport, included me as part of their walkthrough and inspection of the project site, and described in detail the high quality services they offer. Luke and Ben provided their estimates in a timely manner, and included line items for optional project elements we had discussed. Their pricing for interior paint was consistent with most of the other estimates I received, and their pricing for exterior paint was the highest of my estimates, due to the high level of care and attention to detail they offer (which they did describe at the site visit). We had a lot of wall damage from previous owners ripping out closet shelving. They fixed that and also replaced some missing trim and drywall patching in addition to painting. Kevin said they could even fill in the doggie door we had. So their services go beyond just paint! I'm a very detailed person and there were no mistakes by Kevin's crew. Cezar and Liam were our lead painters and they were very professional. Liam always answered the phone when I called or texted him. I also appreciate their detailed website - I learned a lot about their services and steps to quality work. We were surprised how much work goes into painting doors and were not sure if we wanted to spend the money to paint all the doors. We went ahead and did it. My first thought was WOW, it looks like we bought brand new doors! My one tip is to spend a lot of time researching your paint and trim colors, view them in daylight and with the lighting in the room. Paint samples are expensive, but repainting the whole room if you don't like it would be awful! I picked up about 20 paint samples before coming to my choices. Bathroom pic is SW Rainwashed with daylight light bulbs. I had them paint the ceiling the same color as the walls and I absolutely love that decision, so something to consider.
