Caitlin did a great job at first trying to think through the cause and when she couldn't figure it out, she didn't just suggest but told me to move on and force my son to go to school and ignore his pain. We decided to pursue some other avenues and needed a 2nd opinion. We went to Dr Bouzarelos who helped me think through some options. Under the notes, I saw Caitlin tell an admin that a 2nd opinion completely undermines the patient-doctor relationship. Once she heard I saw Dr. Bouzarelos, she called me at work to re-enforce her thoughts. I called the office and asked to switch our primary care physician which Caitlin wouldn't allow. She said that if I wanted to switch, I don't believe in their practice and I was not allowed to see anyone in their practice. I was left without a primary doctor overnight in the middle of a medical emergency. Fortunately, Partners in Pediatrics understood my emergency and got me in right away. They encourage 2nd opinions and would love to hear if I have any other ideas. My son's chest pain has been resolved and we continue to partner on his care. I hope the more senior physicians at 5280 learn from this review and coach the newer doctors. A few other things: I know Caitlin only worked a couple of days a week. Since they won't collaborate across physicians, I often had to wait several days to get any answers back. The front office can be pretty difficult. None of this really mattered to me until I was in a true emergency. I suggest finding a great pediatrician because when your child is chronically sick, it can be very difficult to manage.

She was exceptional: attentive, knowledgeable, and excellent with our baby (now a toddler). Since her departure, the experience has declined noticeably. On our most recent visit (03/09/26), we arrived on time for an 11:00am appointment. After the initial nurse check-in, we waited in the exam room for over 35 minutes with zero communication or acknowledgment of a delay from any staff. We ultimately decided to walk out. The lack of basic courtesy and respect for patients' time has become unacceptable. This practice no longer meets the level of service we previously received, which is quite disappointing.

My family has been a patient here for the last 11 years and have always been treated with respect until our most recent visit. All text messages and emails sent to me to verify my daughters appointment was a 1:50 appointment time. I showed up at 1:40. They refused to see my daughter because they said I was 10 minutes late and her appointment was at 1:30. I showed them the texted messages I got and yet the office manager said sorry but this is our policy and you can wait 2 hours for an opening or reschedule. I drove 45 minutes to get it this doctors office and have for the last 8 years because we moved but absolutely loved the experiences got there. After today and this office managers lack of compassion for a mistake made on their end we will be finding a new doctors office closer to home.

They are so good with her keeping her comfortable during the check up and distracting her when she needs shots. A MUST READ -- BEWARE…read more I will absolutely be sharing this experience publicly and warning other parents. I am disgusted by the treatment we received from this office. In my opinion, the practice seems far more focused on enforcing its policies than actually listening to parents or addressing individual concerns. My experience started last year with now-retired Dr. Taoka. Before we moved away (we are now back in Colorado), she was also pushing a vaccine schedule for my baby daughter. As any caring and responsible parent would, I had questions. Instead of helping me feel informed or even attempting to answer concerns, I felt dismissed and was essentially told we would need to go elsewhere if we did not follow their exact vaccine schedule. The ironic part? We DO vaccinate our children, and always have. However, we have always chosen to space vaccines out. We do not do 4-5 vaccines in one visit. That has never been an issue for us anywhere else until now. Fast forward to today. We received two text confirmations for today's appointment and multiple calls from the office confirming the visit. During those conversations, I explained all of my concerns ahead of time, updated paperwork, completed the ASQ, and made it very clear that I primarily wanted my daughter evaluated by a doctor first because, with Dr. Taoka gone for the past several months and now retired, my daughter has not actually been seen by a physician at this practice. Then this morning, the office called saying my daughter could not come in because she was "too early" for vaccines and would need to wait until next week. I called back and explained we were not even planning to vaccinate today because we first needed a doctor to evaluate her and answer questions we had. I was then told that was completely fine, and that we could schedule any vaccines later as a nurse visit after vacation. That was communicated multiple times. Then around 1 PM, we received ANOTHER call -- this time from Zoe, who identified herself as the office manager -- and the conversation completely changed. She told me that Dr. Lindsey Oliver, D.O., wanted my daughter to receive five vaccines at once and that if we came in, we needed to agree to follow that vaccine schedule. Again, this was before the doctor had ever met or evaluated my daughter. I explained that our children have never received that many vaccines at once and that we have always chosen to separate them. For example, if MMRV is needed, we do that individually and continue from there. The entire reason we wanted this appointment was so a doctor could FIRST meet my child, hear our concerns, and discuss options with us. Instead, I felt pressured, dismissed, and spoken to with a surprisingly hostile tone. I was basically told that if we did not agree with their approach, we should find another practice. So yes -- we absolutely will. Parents deserve to ask questions without feeling threatened or pushed out of a practice. Whether someone fully vaccinates, spaces vaccines out, delays them, or follows a different schedule entirely, parents should be able to have respectful conversations with their child's doctor without being made to feel bullied or unwelcome. To be clear: I am not anti-vaccine. My children ARE vaccinated. But medical decisions for my children will always involve informed consent, discussion, and parental choice. My personal experience with Lone Tree Pediatrics left me feeling unheard, pressured, and extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled -- especially by management and communication staff. I'm sure the office will have its own version of events, but this was my family's direct experience. I even deleted a previous negative review last year because I wanted to give the practice another chance after moving back. Unfortunately, today confirmed for me that returning was a mistake. Parents: do your own research, read reviews carefully for this practice (you will see similar patterns) , ask questions, and trust your instincts when it comes to your children. ALWAYS.

I feel like they're looking out for me as well as my children. I've come here about 5 times this year so far with both my newborn and my toddler. Outstanding service every single time. The front desk women are pleasant and helpful. The nurses we've encountered have been beyond delightful and understanding. I had to make a visit with my toddler and newborn by myself and they were completely patient with me as I tried to wrangle my toddler and carry my newborn. The nurse even offered to help! We emailed the form at 9:30 a.m. and politely asked if it could be returned by 2:00 p.m. Understanding that offices are busy, we felt 5.5 hours for a simple signature was reasonable. After receiving no response, we called multiple times to confirm the email was received. Four calls later, including being placed on hold twice until the calls disconnected, we still had no answer. We ultimately drove the form to the office in person. My wife then waited 45 minutes in the lobby, during which only one patient checked in, and we still did not receive the signature. We understand that medical offices are busy, but responsiveness and basic communication matter -- especially when it involves kids and time-sensitive school or sports requirements. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to look for a new pediatrician for our three children. I would encourage others to consider the importance of communication and responsiveness when choosing a provider.
