Dr. Haynes has been the pediatrician for all four of my children, and I truly can't recommend her highly enough. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen to our concerns without ever making us feel rushed. She has a wonderful way of connecting with both kids and parents, making every visit a positive experience. Over the years, she has consistently provided exceptional care, and I have complete confidence in her recommendations and expertise. A MUST READ -- BEWARE. I will absolutely be sharing this experience publicly and warning other parents. I am disgusted by the treatment we received from this office. In my opinion, the practice seems far more focused on enforcing its policies than actually listening to parents or addressing individual concerns. My experience started last year with now-retired Dr. Taoka. Before we moved away (we are now back in Colorado), she was also pushing a vaccine schedule for my baby daughter. As any caring and responsible parent would, I had questions. Instead of helping me feel informed or even attempting to answer concerns, I felt dismissed and was essentially told we would need to go elsewhere if we did not follow their exact vaccine schedule. The ironic part? We DO vaccinate our children, and always have. However, we have always chosen to space vaccines out. We do not do 4-5 vaccines in one visit. That has never been an issue for us anywhere else until now. Fast forward to today. We received two text confirmations for today's appointment and multiple calls from the office confirming the visit. During those conversations, I explained all of my concerns ahead of time, updated paperwork, completed the ASQ, and made it very clear that I primarily wanted my daughter evaluated by a doctor first because, with Dr. Taoka gone for the past several months and now retired, my daughter has not actually been seen by a physician at this practice. Then this morning, the office called saying my daughter could not come in because she was "too early" for vaccines and would need to wait until next week. I called back and explained we were not even planning to vaccinate today because we first needed a doctor to evaluate her and answer questions we had. I was then told that was completely fine, and that we could schedule any vaccines later as a nurse visit after vacation. That was communicated multiple times. Then around 1 PM, we received ANOTHER call -- this time from Zoe, who identified herself as the office manager -- and the conversation completely changed. She told me that Dr. Lindsey Oliver, D.O., wanted my daughter to receive five vaccines at once and that if we came in, we needed to agree to follow that vaccine schedule. Again, this was before the doctor had ever met or evaluated my daughter. I explained that our children have never received that many vaccines at once and that we have always chosen to separate them. For example, if MMRV is needed, we do that individually and continue from there. The entire reason we wanted this appointment was so a doctor could FIRST meet my child, hear our concerns, and discuss options with us. Instead, I felt pressured, dismissed, and spoken to with a surprisingly hostile tone. I was basically told that if we did not agree with their approach, we should find another practice. So yes -- we absolutely will. Parents deserve to ask questions without feeling threatened or pushed out of a practice. Whether someone fully vaccinates, spaces vaccines out, delays them, or follows a different schedule entirely, parents should be able to have respectful conversations with their child's doctor without being made to feel bullied or unwelcome. To be clear: I am not anti-vaccine. My children ARE vaccinated. But medical decisions for my children will always involve informed consent, discussion, and parental choice. My personal experience with Lone Tree Pediatrics left me feeling unheard, pressured, and extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled -- especially by management and communication staff. I'm sure the office will have its own version of events, but this was my family's direct experience. I even deleted a previous negative review last year because I wanted to give the practice another chance after moving back. Unfortunately, today confirmed for me that returning was a mistake. Parents: do your own research, read reviews carefully for this practice (you will see similar patterns) , ask questions, and trust your instincts when it comes to your children. ALWAYS. read more

We were referred to Lone Tree Pediatric when our daughter was born. She has been seeing Dr. Taoka since. She has been in there a lot being early and in daycare. They are so good with her keeping her comfortable during the check up and distracting her when she needs shots. They always address our concerns and don't push tests when they don't feel they're necessary. read more

After having seen a doctor at Lonetree Pediatrics on more than one occasion in the last few weeks, our child has been running a fever for now 10 days. I spoke to Brenda the head MA before 9:00 this morning and explained all the details of my child's condition. Called again about 1:30, and got another "deer in the headlights" staff member. Not a single return call all day. When you really need something rest assured Dr Barry and her staff will not be there to so much as act like they care. While his fever wasn't at an emergency level, there were definite concerns about what is going on! We ended up in the ER (with a MUCH higher copay), but a call could have helped us decide what to do next. I would strongly recommend another practice. read more

Dr. Haynes has truly been an angel, so kind and easy going. She will treat you like you are her only patient. I never feel rushed, she really takes her time and asks lots of questions. The front office staff started out awesome they were so friendly. Then they all were gone and then there were some bad ones and now that they are at the new location the staff is super helpful. I just want to see a friendly face when I'm burnt out and going to the pediatrician. They also recently saved me and got me immunization records very last minute. We ADORE Dr. Nancy Taoka who recently joined their practice. However, due to a clerical error in entering our insurance information into the verification system, they have denied us care. After pushing the issue, they finally agreed to call to confirm. They were able to confirm we had insurance, but only agreed to finally allow us to see our doctor on one occasion. She actually accused me of insurance fraud if I try to make an appointment in the future. This after confirming I have valid insurance. I have cried so much with extreme frustration over access to my doctor. Pease look elsewhere. Dr. Taoka is the best doctor around. But, with staff this rude and horrible, and won't allow me to see her, that is irrelevant. I am pregnant and cannot be denied access to my doctor with a newborn. My two other children have had to get care at the ER because they have been denied service. read more

Today was our first day going to Lone tree pediatrics. Once we got into the room we were asked if our child's immunizations are up to date? I said no I do not vaccinate for personal reasons. She said oh you are not allowed to be seen here anymore after today's visit. What is this legal? The government does not require this why do they! Not happy do not recommend this place. read more

Dr Haynes and Lisa the nurse practitioner are exceptional clinicians. Extremely thorough and caring. I have never felt rushed by the clinicians even when I know they are very busy. They make sure to answer all my questions and put me at ease in stressful situations (no sleep and sick kids does this to a mom). My children have never been turned away due to a full schedule. The wait time is non existent. The front staff is professional and accommodating. Honestly I have nothing negative to say about my experience! Doctor Lisa Haynes is AMAZING! My appointment was at 1pm and was seen exactly at 1pm. I brought my 2 children in, 6wk baby and 7yo. The front desk coordinator Jamie was very cheerful and helpful. My husband and I just moved to Colorado from New Mexico a year ago, the care we have received from Dr. Haynes has been nothing but pleasant. Dr. Haynes really does listen to you and your concerns. I am very thankful to have found such a caring pediatrician. Follow up: I returned to the office for my sons 8 week check up. The new back office medical assistant was so friendly and welcoming. She was very personable and answered all my questions. She was very gentle with my son and administered his shots quickly and efficiently. read more

One day we had an appointment with a specialist in a different office in the same building; when we left my toddler threw a fit because she didn't get to see Dr. Haynes- that's how great she is. Before we transferred to this practice, my daughter was scared of our previous pediatrician, Dr. Haynes took the time during our first visit to win my daughter over. Since then she never complains about going to the Doctor, even for shots. We have seen other doctors at both locations for both our newborn and our toddler, and have liked them all. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The office is cute and clean. I recommend giving this practice a try! read more

Please note that this review is of the Centennial office. We are very sad to see Dr. Katz retire. He has been our pediatrician pretty much from the start of our eleven year old's life and our twins' doctor literally from day one. His staff was always accessible and personable. I don't feel this is the case for Lone Tree. I don't know how many (if any) of the previous staff remains, but my initial impression with the pediatric nurse is horrible. She was bothered by the fact that I asked her what immunization she was giving my eleven year old at his recent check-up. When she mentioned the Gardasil vaccine, I asked her to wait a minute, I wasn't sure about that one. After a look of disgust, a sigh and being totally put out, she asked if I wanted to talk to Dr. Katz. She had never heard of any of the reactions I'd read about (of course not). Thankfully, we got to see him on his last day. I spoke with him about it and he reassured me, answered my questions just as he always did. The nurse came back in, gave us our flu mist and then his injection. Then she mentioned that he had to stay in the office for a period of time after the vaccine. No one told us about that before--wish they would've said something ahead of time. We did what we were told and left. During our wait time, the new front office people were talking of their plans to rearrange the office in front of the remaining, existing staff--totally rude! I thought I'd give the new team another shot. My three year old daughter wasn't feeling well and I decided to take her in. I tried calling the night before to leave a message and found I can no longer leave a message for them to call me the next morning. I called the next morning when their phones should've rolled over (shortly after 8 a.m.) and kept getting the closed office recording. I tried calling until 8:30 a.m. and finally made an appointment for the same morning at the Walgreens clinic by my house for her. I couldn't wait for them to figure out the phone system and stick me with an appointment time late in the day. I miss the personal touch of the previous staff, the actual person calling to remind us of our appointments, and following up to see how a sick child is doing. I also miss Dr. Klein who loved on my kids, laughed with them and got my oldest through a concussion and a nasty staph infection while the nurses in the front office let me leave my two year old twins in the waiting area/play area and watched them! The nurses were never disgusted when I asked questions. Now I'm searching for a new doctor and hoping Pediatrics 5280 (highly recommended) will be the right fit for the remainder of our pediatric years! read more

We have tried to work with front office (difficult to get a hold of) regarding care of our pre-teen but were not made to feel that our discussion or ideas were welcome. I would not recommend this office at all. As a first time mother I was very displeased with my experiences. This office does not complete the reminder phone call the day before your appointment. The ladies in the front office seem very disfunctional and flustered. I attempted to schedule several appointments in advance only to find they would be cancelled the day before at 4pm due to no doctor available, even though I had scheduled several weeks before. The primary doctor retired recently and I was told it wouldn't be an issue as they had several new doctors from an affiliate practice. However I am certain that this caused all of the issues I experienced. I also attempted to call after hours for assistance and there were not any on call doctors on duty. The service I did eventually speak with was very surprised that the office was not available. There is supposed to be lactation support however I felt completely unsupported and was told very short advice that derailed my milk supply to nearly nothing. Truly a frustration you don't want...please avoid. read more
