These guys helped me right away with my son's OneWheel, and were very nice. I will definitely be back.

Great place if you are looking for an electric bike. I had no idea there were different types and so many accessories. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I got to test ride one of the bikes in the big parking lot. I LOVE these bikes and the different colors they have. I am returning to purchase one soon! read more

As owners of several other bike brands over the years, we had found the customer service lacking, and so were on the hunt for a new bike shop. We landed on Padego Santee based on the reviews here on Google, and boy are we glad we did! We were greeted by the owner Greg and his family, who were highly knowledgeable not only about the Padego bikes, but also on e-bikes in general. As enthusiasts, it was always difficult for us to interact with bike shop owners or employees who knew little or nothing about the products that they sold. It was like a breath of fresh air for both of us to talk to Greg, who is not only passionate about bikes, but about the brand he sells. After about 15 minutes of honing in on what type of bicycles we both preferred, we had found the perfect match. Greg and his son were so friendly and helpful that we felt at home, and he even recommended a special wheel lighting system installed by LightmeUP Lighting. We only had to wait a couple days until our custom bikes were all tricked out with lighting, new handlebars etc. When we arrived to pick everything up Greg personally showed us all the intricacies behind our new bikes, how to operate them and even rode with us to get some tacos down the street! Suffice to say, we are more than extremely happy with our bikes, the services rendered and the overall experience. We highly recommend Padego Santee, and are E-bike owners for life at Greg's store for as long as he and his family are there. read more

I was on a walk when I literally stumbled onto the store in Santee. I had been looking to buy an e-bike and had previously conducted some research online. The problem with virtual shopping is you never really get to feel the fabric of the company behind the product and nor do you get to test it. In some cases that's okay but with a bike, I want to ride it, not to mention there are literally thousands of choices out and the price ranges are wide......can be overwhelming. This is a case of "you had me at hello". The first thing that struck me was how much inventory they had, a wide range from kids bikes to high end mountain bikes. I was greeted within minutes by owner, Greg Carter, and the first thing he did was ask me a series of question to gauge how I intended to use the bike, my level of activity and interest in riding, after which he paired me up perfectly with a Ridge Rider step thru, kinda of a trail bike meets road bike. I never felt like Greg was trying to sell me a bike, instead, he was providing me the right info needed to make a good buying decision; including the technology behind the designs, available accessories and the many uses for having a good time. I told Greg and his son Garrison, who was also very helpful and appeared to be the IT brains behind the operation, that I would think about it and let them know of my decision. I did a bit more research and whether I read a consumer report of some kind, a side by side comparison, or impartial blogs, all suggested that when you buy a Pedego, you are buying a quality bike. I knew right then I was buying a Pedego from Greg. A long story short, great bike, awesome store, and a family who are passionate about what they are doing. By the way, I met Greg's wife Stephanie when I came to pick up my bike and didn't take me long to realize who the real brains behind the scene is :) So, If you are looking to buy a quality bike, to have a buying experience that feels like you're dealing with friends, and to see what an American family business should look like, come to the Pedego store in Santee and meet the Carter's; you will love the experience. Thank you to the Carter family and Pedego! read more

Pedego Santee - Created the e-bike of our dreams! We recently had an exceptional experience purchasing Pedego Interceptor e-bikes at Santee Pedego. Greg, Stephanie, and Garrison provided an outstanding level of service. They were personable, highly educational, and incredibly patient throughout the entire process. We did our homework, researched alternatives, and it became abundantly clear that Pedego stands in a league of its own. The quality of their e-bikes, with top-notch components and an unrivaled 5-year warranty, sets them apart from the competition. What truly stood out was Greg's commitment to satisfying all our needs and answering every question we had. He made the whole process smooth and informative. We literally had a blast brainstorming through the countless possibilities and combinations that resulted in our personalize e-bikes! Try matching this via online or other "vanilla" retailers - not gonna happen! In a nutshell, if you're considering e-bikes, "Team Pedego" (Greg, Stephanie, Garrison, Tim) at Santee Pedego is the way to go. First of all if you're in the market of buying a quality electric bike go check out This shop it is awesome there's a huge selection of bad ass bikes there . . Anyway I called and told them about my flat tire on my daughters RAEV BULLET GT electric bike and he told me no problem they fix them and to bring it in when I can so I loaded up the bike and headed there . When I got to the shop I was welcomed by 4 people all genuinely friendly accompanied with a good vibe , and then one of them offered to help me load the bike out of my van which was awesome because it's heavy lol . Next he suggested that I don't need to spend a bunch of money on tube protection just a thorn proof tube which is what flattened the tube in the first place . That saved me a couple hundred bucks , which is rare nowadays . Usually shops want to up sell you and make the most money they can off of you . This was not the case here at all . So I gave him my info and he said there's 5 bikes before mine it'd be done at the latest on Saturday which was fine with me . This was yesterday . I got a call this morning telling me it was done . I'm stoked that was fast and relativly cheap . So I went back & picked the bike up and he helped me load it in my van which was great . I checked out the bikes they were selling there & I will tell you what when I'm ready for a new e-bike for myself which will be this summer I will be getting one from here . The bikes here are super quality and reasonably priced . THANK YOU guys for your honesty and for a quick & easy repair and the awesome customer service . See you guys again sometime this summer when I'm ready to get myself an e-bike read more

I was beyond thrilled with the customer service provided by the entire staff. They know their product and the customizations. They were able to fit me to a bike and make adjustments for my comfort and safety. I was able to test ride various styles to find the bike that fit my style and comfort. They ensured I know how to use the various controls. I couldn't be happier with my experience. If you're looking for a hands on company that isn't pushing the sale. This is the place. read more

I bought myself a birthday present this year and had it completely personalized from the seat and handle bars to a design with plumerias & sand fenders and a chain guard (designed by my hubby). I LOVE my Pedego e-bike!! If you're in the market to buy an e-bike, I highly recommend getting a Pedego, and I especially recommend buying it from Greg and his team at Pedego in Santee! Their customer service is like no other around! They are so caring about their customers and make you feel more like a close personal friend then a customer. I wasn't even in the market for a bike (due to back/sciatica issues) but after meeting and talking with Greg, I decided to give it a try. I ended up enjoying my ride so much that I bought my bike 5 days later (I even noticed my pain level had decreased from a weekend of riding). I never even looked around at other brands or shops. I was sold on the Pedego Interceptor (beach cruiser) and I felt an immediate loyalty to Greg and his team because of their top notch customer service. This was by far the BEST purchase I've ever made for myself! I get so many compliments on my bike and look forward to getting out for a ride as often as possible. If you're considering an e-bike, do yourself a favor and buy a Pedego (if you're in the San Diego area, definitely buy it from the Santee location). You won't regret it (it's worth every penny)! read more

5 star all the way. We started with a single bike for our eldest son , he uses daily to get to highschool and afterschool activities. The staff is always available, helpful and informative. We bought a second for our daughter and she rides to middle school in a breeze. They both love their bikes and now dad has his own because they have different styles and want to ride together on weekends. Love their bikes so much we invested in the bike hitch to keep them locked up and upright when traveling. High use here, we have a lot of hills and trails with uneven terrain but have had no problems. So glad we found Pedego and invested in these bikes. Each is custom ,down to the spokes and tires , each comes with built in bike lock as well that ticks back into the bike. Highly recommend. read more

Wow, where do I start? I have been an avid road bike rider for years. I never thought that I would get an electric bike. We decided to purchase 2 e-bikes so that my wife and I could ride together. At the recommendation of a friend, we went to the Santee Pedego store and met the owner, Greg. I could tell right away that he was an honest business owner whose main concern was my satisfaction and not his sales. We test-rode the bikes and were immediately impressed. We put in an order, and the next day the bikes were ready. We came in the next day to pick up the bikes and met Greg's wife, Stephanie. They are both genuinely nice people and went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied. I felt very comfortable with my purchase and encounter, and look forward to years of riding our new bikes together. Thank you, Greg and Stephanie, for your help. read more

Pedego beats their competition hands down. It's not even close. I'm honestly not sure why anyone would purchase any other E-Bike. I rode my first E-Bike in Kauai on vacation and was hooked immediately. After doing some homework and trying some other brands I found Pedego was the way to go before even sitting on one. The components they use are high quality and built to last. When I went into the Pedego Santee store I knew I was in the right place. It felt like I was working with old friends and by the time I took a bike out to try it I was already sold. The ride was obviously superior to the other bikes I had ridden. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Greg and the rest of the Pedego Santee team. I know they stand behind what they are selling as they have answered every question I've asked, given me great advice and they have a passion for the bikes unparalleled to any other E-Bike store I've been in. I'm having so much fun on this thing and look forward to many more miles on it with the team behind me for any service needs I may have in the future. Go buy one now! Do it!!! So I just recently bought a bike at the Santee store, customer service is great!Craig The manager of the store, his customer service is outstanding, because of him I will definitely keep coming back to buy another Pedego electric bike. He came and delivered my bike when I first purchased it. My chain had came off, because of something I caused, and Greg the manager had come over and explained how to fix my bike and fixed it, and then my chain broke something that I caused it wasn't the default of the chain, and thenGreg came over personally and picked up my bike and he repaired it as well that's the best customer service I've ever had from any store that I had bought a product from. Definitely this store is very well managed and again I can't express how much I enjoy riding the bike also, the bike is so therapeutic for me, and very fun to ride and I just love my bike and I'm so happy I bought it at this store. read more

Went in to look because we're interested in an ebike for me. There was an older guy there, employee, mgr, owner? That was really rude and dismissive, like we didn't know what we wanted. About twelve days ago I spent a couple hours a day for 3 days talking and riding different bikes. Interactions with the owning family and their staff was wonderful. Each person brought a different perspective to the 'sales' process. They are very enthusiastic not only about the bikes, but bike riding in general, and the local areas in Santee to ride. But the bikes themselves really didn't need selling. It was just finding the right one. Finally picked a "Boomerang" and some accessories. I am very appreciative of the patience shown me. Also note, after riding a few days on my own, I stopped in for minor adjustments. They have two maintenance stands and they gladly made the improvements. I was also welcomed to ride with them and some others. I've done that now and looking forward to additional trips. I've been on the bike daily now: Riding around Santee, Walker Preserve, Mission Trails, Trolley to Downtown and riding back along El Cajon Blvd, and around Lake Murray, just to name a few. I have no regrets with the bike choice or the Pedego Santee folks. See ya on the trails! read more

I recently bought the Avenue at the Santee Pedego. I had test rode bikes at three other brand-name dealers. Unlike the other stores, on my first test ride Greg, the owner/manager at the Santee store, gave me an overview of the bike's workings before I took off. Several months later, I returned for another test ride and he gave me the same check-out and even rode with me to find a good hill to test the bike on. Several days later I bought the Avenue in the color and frame I wanted. It met all my must haves plus more valuable features. After I got home, I had trouble removing and replacing the battery (one of the features on my must-have list). I called the shop, and we did a Facetime call to try to resolve my issue. When that did not work, Greg dropped what he was doing, drove to my house which is at least 6 miles away from his store. He showed me how to insert my battery. This exceeded my expectations since most stores would want you to bring the bike back to the shop. I see now why some of his other customers think so highly of him, his products, and the staff at the Santee shop. Thank you for going above and beyond. read more
