Each time she placed a cup I would jump because it felt like it was burning my skin. I told her it was too hot, she said "no English", so in Spanish I told her it was too hot. She told me it has to be or it won't work. She laughed every time I jumped. I knew it didn't feel right, and sure enough, I have burns on my back from the heated glass. I called and told them about it, was told to text them a picture, which I did, with no response. I am going to investigate whether the massage "therapist" who did the treatment is licensed to do cupping or not. I told her numerous times it was way too hot and that it hurt. The red circles in the picture are normal for cupping. The burn is not.

I got the prenatal massage as I'm 37 weeks with an active toddler at home so I really needed some deep relaxation. She was so gentle and just had the magic touch - a skill that is not learned but is innate. It put me to sleep which is rare for me as I do not take naps.
