I have purchased several pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses from Victoria. She has been helpful and honest every time! I have a difficult prescription to get correct and they have me seeing better than I have in years. I didn't know I could see this well anymore! read more

I was told that the reason my lenses for my daily transition eyeglasses were discolored was the overuse outdoors and in the sun! While I had insurance, it only covered the first year. My eyeglasses were purchased less than 2 years ago. I was asked by the salesperson how often I wore my eyeglasses outdoors and today, I was told same by (I believe) the owner/manager. I did purchase a set of new glasses and the lenses alone are close to $1,000, same what I had paid for my earlier set. I am over 65 years old and have been wearing eyeglasses since my childhood. This was the first time I was asked if I wore my glasses everyday and outdoors! For a long term client, pearl vision should have been more accommodative since I believe the lenses were defective. At least they should have offered a discount for the second pair which I wanted to purchase today which they declined. Customer satisfaction should not be taken for granted. Takes years to build and less than two interactions to lose a client. read more

I love coming here. Wayne and his staff have been taking care of my family and me for years. Recently, my five year old daughter needed an eye exam and became a first time eyeglass wearer. She felt so comfortable with Wayne and his staff, she can't wait for her next exam! They're always professional and courtesy. The eye exams are very thorough and never rushed. Wayne always makes sure our vision needs are fully met and answers any questions we may have, even if they're days later. They have a large inventory of sunglasses, contact lenses and eyeglass frames, including a variety of the latest designer styles, and even ones for on a budget. If you have any vision or optical needs, come see Wayne and his staff at Pearl Vision in Roslyn. I highly recommend them. read more

Wayne is super professional and always goes the extra mile for his patients. I went in Sunday to order reading glasses and needed to add the nose piece to the frames. Wayne went Monday night to get the nose piece added (this is done through a diff company) to ensure I can have them back by Wednesday. I picked up the glasses today! Thank you read more

My dad recently picked up his new glasses and was having difficulty reading with them. We came in today, and Ming assisted with us. He was so patient, listened to my dad's issue and began to investigate and resolve his issue. He recommended my dad to have a sperate pair of reading glasses. He replaced the lens on one of my dad's old pair of frames that he no longer can use. In an hour, my dad was able to read much better with his new reading glasses, and he kept his other pair which was picked up not to long ago for distance. Ming was incredible and gave the best customer service. He put 100% effort in listening to my elderly father's concern and was determined to resolve his issue. It was a fantastic visit today! read more

I want to thank you for my contact lens training. You were patient and provided excellent customer service. It was challenging for me. Meant a lot to me that you allowed me the three times necessary. So grateful read more

I am a returning patient, and not only did I receive extremely inadequate service from the staff, but I also received a three minute exam that felt absolutely rushed, and pushed to the side. Almost as if they just wanted my money and didn't care about my wellbeing. Not only from the moment I walked into the door and I didn't even receive the proper clientele introduction(literally not even a hello), after all is said and done I find out that they do not take my current insurance, because prior to the exam they were "too busy" to get me checked in the beginning and was forced to pay full fees. They were too busy to care about the client and too busy to even process a single thought in their own mind, im not even a new client and choose to never to here again just simply because they make you think they are over burdened and you are just another task on their list. The worker "Grace" even said to me herself that the place was understaffed, and I have to pay for the fact that you can't run a system properly? Number one advice to the client, and its simple please choose a different place or it will leave a sour taste on your tongue in the end. To the company; fix your understaff issue before even marketing yourself ever again. Rude staff and poor management read more

Dr was nice and seemed competent but they f'ed up everything else. Had the wrong phone number and never called to say glasses where ready and when I went to pick them up they put the WRONG LENSES IN THE WRONG FRAMES! read more

They knew I had insurance because they told me I had to wait until 2021 to get new frames. The saleswoman then told me my progressive lenses would cost over $500 because they are not covered by my insurance. I called my insurance company from the store and YES they are covered. I am then told the computer space progressives are not covered, only the regular progressives. I asked why they didn't recommend the progressives that my insurance pays for every year and she said " I didn't know you wanted to use your insurance"!!!!! Do you know of anyone who pays for insurance who doesn't want to use it??? I ordered my progressives, paid my 20 copay and called it a day. Terrible that these commissioned salespeople want to rip you off!!! read more

I visit this location every year when I have to see the eye doctor and get new glasses. They have an amazing selection of glasses, i'be been to so many glasses stores over the years and this one by far has the nicest frames. I recently purchased a pair of Gucci sunglasses and Gucci seeing glasses. I received customer service from Yazmen and she was such a doll. She was very patient with me because I am very picky when it comes to picking glasses that fit my face right. She helped me find the most perfect pair of glasses and I was more than satisfied. The lady at the front desk, Dorina was so sweet and civil, she was making conversation and complimenting my glasses choice. 10/10 will continue to attend this location. I love the staff and the inventory, would definetly recommend to people in search for a glasses place. read more

Took my order, but due to Virus, took 2 weeks to fill. New lenses fitted in an hour, as promised. Would have been better to have had a call to come in, rather than call myself. Business must be easy. read more

Received my progressive Glasses at the end of January, couldn't see out of one eye, they said the access was off? They send them back to get repaired. Won't even tell you what it cost ins...anyway go back they change the lens to the brand I had before.. Comes back still can't see out of one eye, check vision they tell me wear them for a week get use to them, my vision changed so lens was stronger.... They tell me insurance company won't pay anymore! Called them, had my eyes checked at another place, my prescription in both eyes were to strong. Now they will not refund my money. I'm going to go pay "Wayne" the owner a visit! read more

I have bought at least 5 pairs of glasses here and have received good service and reasonable pricing. They have adjusted my frames many many times with a smile on their face. At times this place does get kind of crowded but the wait is not too bad. Parking can be tight at times since this plaza tends to be busy read more

I have been a long time customer of Pearle Vision and have always has outstanding service. I purchased a pair of new glasses and wore them home. My wife thought the frame was too small and we're not appealing. I went back to the store a few days ago for an adjustment. During the adjustment the salesperson asked me where I purchased the glasses. I told her at their store. She said, they don't fit you properly. Thirty minutes later I walked out with my ticket to pick up my new glasses in two days. Since then my puppy has tried to make several pairs of my glasses lunch and I had cataract surgery twice. Again the staff could not be more helpful to go out of their way to help me. A great well run consumer centric store! Thank you. read more

My husband has been going to Pearle for years from back when they were at their old location about a mile west. This time we both got glasses. The frames came in quickly, the lenses were made fast. Great fit. Great service. Wayne has an amazing eye for what looks right on people. We will return when we need new glasses. Even during Covid, I felt safe going in there. read more

I left a glowing review over 5 years ago for this store for their quick and gracious customer service. I am happy to leave another one today. I came in with a problem with my glasses and I could not have been treated better by the staff and professionals on duty. Always a pleasure to go into a store with a problem and be treated fairly and with a smile, and problem solved. Will always use them for glasses for me and my family. Thanks again. read more

This place is a complete rip off. Way way way too expensive. Plus, to make matters worse, won't give you your prescription information, notably your pupillary distance that you paid them to measure for you. STAY AWAY from this place. Go to the Eye Vision place on Willis Avenue. They are much nicer, and not complete thieves. read more

STAY AWAY FROM PEARLE VISION IN ROSLYN!!! They are not honest with their customers and treat people poorly. 1. They had a 40% off full pair of glasses & frames promotion. My terrible salesperson said that it was no longer valid. I pulled the promotion details up on my phone and told her that it was still posted on their website with no expiration date. She made a nasty face and begrudgingly said she would honor it. 2. Their optometrist was not available so she made me an appointment for the following week. This was fine because the glasses had to be ordered and would not be in the store for 2-3 days. 3. The day before my appointment, someone called to confirm my appointment time. (they wanted to make sure that I was coming) 4. I show up a few minutes early to my appointment just so I could try on the glasses that were ordered for me. At this time I was informed that the doctor was not in today. She said that she called me the night before to let me know. That was a COMPLETE LIE. I was home the night before and never received a call or message. She then said that the manager called me in the morning (ANOTHER LIE) So then I decided I might as well try on the glasses that I ordered to make sure I still liked them. Guess what...the glasses had NOT arrived 8 days after they were supposedly ordered. More deceit. 5. I spoke with the manager who did not care one bit about my predicament. So I decided to look at another pair of frames bc the thought of going somewhere else was frustrating. This is when the manager gets down right RUDE. He says I will not sell you glasses. WHAT???? I had always bought my glasses here despite their steep prices because I like shopping local. I cannot believe he would treat a repeat customer like this! There is a lot of competition out there and now there are online stores that sell glasses too. He should have extended me an apology and done whatever he could to expediate the process of getting me glasses. Instead, he chose to be rude and unprofessional. DO NOT BUY GLASSES HERE. Go to Roslyn Eye Centre on Willis Avenue instead. read more

The staff at this store is wonderful. Veronica assisted me, and explained all the costs associated with my glasses. Whenever, I need assistance they also able to help. I will visit them in the future, and recommend this place to friends and family. read more

First, the location is so neat and clean! To make things better the staff is very professional. I was looking for a perfect pair of sunglasses for my trip to Mexico and the staff was able to show me multiple different pairs that were suitable for my vacation, as well as financially. I recommended this location to my sister who was also equally satisfied. read more

This is the only eyeglass store I ever go to. It is the best Pearl too. The staff is very knowledgeable and not pushy. They have the best frame selection and carry a lot of designer brands. I am not good at selecting glasses for myself. They were so patient and helped me select a beautiful pair of "on trend" frames. I love them and get so many compliments. Thanks Pearl!! read more

Today I received a call from Pearl Vision apologizing for the bad experience(s) I had with a particular employee. He assured me that he had handled the matter. I was surprised I got this call that I had to call back to verify and it was legit. THANK YOU! like I said the two doctors that have seen here are super nice. read more

Super friendly, accommodating staff. Greeted me with smiles when I arrived for my eye exam appointment. Clearly explained exactly what I was paying for (co-pay, exam fee etc) which is a huge plus! Often times there are so many charges on the bill that I don't even know what I'm paying for. Big parking lot and extremely easy to make an appointment via phone. read more

I've been a customer of this Pearle location since 1999 and have had nothing but positive experiences. For my glasses which I purchased from them in 2013, I wasn't happy with them, and they replaced them at no charge! They were very expensive glasses, too, with designer frames and premium lenses. Then, a few weeks ago, I accidentally bent the temples on my frames. When I took them to Pearle, they fixed them within a matter of minutes and refused to accept payment from me! Keep in mind that the frames were *WAY* out of warranty by then, and even if they had still been under warranty, the warranty wouldn't have covered accidental damage. Simply put, this Pearle location epitomizes courtesy, professionalism, and customer service. Ironically, they're not that expensive considering they're located in a very affluent area. As an added bonus, their new Roslyn location has a very upscale, posh decor. read more

I have been going to Pearle Vision for years. I have found them to be extremely polite, courteous and stand by their sale of glasses. I usually deal with Wayne who is the proprietor of this branch. I will not go anywhere else. My daughter in law now goes to Pearle Vision and is extremely happy. I will not deal with anyone else. read more

Arrived at 1:55pm for my 2pm eye exam but didn't get to begin until 2:45. They completely wasted my precious time. On top of that, the lady who helped with lenses took another customer's call in the middle of an already delayed process wasting more time of my work day. I would think that the right thing to do is return the customer's call after my service is over. Left after 1hr 15 mins of frustrated visit with no purchase. But I have to say that the lady who greeted me and processed my paper was very nice. My last purchase was at Costco with no wait and undivided attention at a much lower price. read more

I have been to this location a few times, and I would not recommend. Employees of this establishment need training on customer servicing. I received my glasses and lens were not properly installed in frame in addition to a defect in the lens. The store employee stated she was doing me a one time favor (I am soooo lucky) to fix Pearls problem. In addition to the great customer service, any scratches or issue due to my fault will cost $100 dollars to fix/adjust versus Costco which is free for the first year. Note: I went to get my daughter glass and selection for frames are few for those looking to spend $130 or less (insurance coverage portion) on frames (my daughter is 5 years old, no need for high end designer frames). I will take my business to Costco. read more
