I bought eye glasses in April of 2025. lenses cracked quickly after I got them. they replaced them. lenses cracked and were replaced 3 more times in a total of 7 months. after 4 sets of eye glass lenses I asked for a refund. they refused. crappy quality material. I lose $350. I will take my business somewhere else. save yourself a lot of aggravation-go somewhere else for your glasses. read more

Very very expensive. Many of their employees don't seem too interested in helping anyone. This place is a relic of the 1980s before you had places like bjs and Costco selling eyeglasses. If you want to spend quadruple on your eyeglasses and get subpar service, come here. Don't ever bother calling them on the phone either. You will wait on hold like you don't exist. Also, their warranty is a joke for their over priced pair of glasses. For that kind of money, it should be lifetime repairs on the frame. I've been wearing glasses for as long as I can remember that being said I've went to plenty of eyewear stores from Davis, Cohens, lens crafters etc. no one comes close to the service and patience pearl vision in Jericho gives. From the beginning your exam with Dr.Han who will answer and help with any eye concerns you have to Heather being courteous with her recommendations in frames. When I didn't feel comfortable with a pair she assisted in seeing if frames came in other colors I would like then even saved one pair from the store and the new pair I ordered in case I changed my mind. Who does that ? Pearl vision in Jericho. Shout out to Gary as well when I came in he quickly and throughly crafted my lens to go right in my new frame in less then 15 mins. Made an appointment online (my favorite) for a Friday afternoon, system works well and is easy to use. They gave me a call, since this would be my first time to come in 15 mins earlier, which was no problem. The parking situation is weird and small, and the woman at the counter was sweet, but seemed a little overwhelmed, I think they may have been short staffed. The doctor was great, knowledgeable, and honest. I didn't feel any pressure to buy glasses that I didn't need, but, they did have a lot of different options, I'm not sure about their prices though. Would recommend for an eye exam/possibly purchasing glasses. read more

This place has gone down the drain with the new staff. I was just there a weeks ago. They exercise very little to no COVID safety. Glasses and testing equipments are returned without cleaning and and staff only (the young guy) cares about their safety only, not yours. He only wipe the equipment parts that he will touch not the part that touch your skin. Unreal! The price are ridiculous. $1600 without insurance and $600 with insurance. I get the same glasses online for $400 and 100% covered by insurance, which mean ZERO dollars. You would expect a little more care from milking a $1600 customer. If I die from COVID I'm not coming back for my glasses next year. I got SICK the very next day after the test! You are warned, go at your own risk. I went in for a routine eye exam and for contact lens fittings. All staffs are so friendly and professional. They were very patient with all the questions I had regarding the insurance and other general questions about the type of contact lens that I am eligible for. I was examined by Dr. Michael Hans. He was very attentive to my concerns and he gave responses that will work best for my current status. I work in front of the computer screen majority of my days. I wear eye make-up and it tends to get stuck on the contacts a lot even if I clean it often. So Dr. Hans suggested I should try 1 day Daily disposable contacts instead of 2 week disposables. So I received couple of pairs to try and they are fantastic. I love the idea of disposing them right after I get home, so I give my eyes some time to breath and I will have the habit of wearing my glasses more often. (Which I should) I'm definitely coming back for glasses fitting! It's great that it's so close to home. read more

Told the rep I wanted the PD value with my prescription and she gave me some bs about it's only for customers who buy glasses from them. I am not sure where all these 1 star reviews are coming from! Dr. Han's is a very knowledgeable professional. I went in for my yearly checkup, I was in and out in 15 minutes. They don't use that silly eye dilation solution that makes you have to spend the whole day indoors wearing sunglasses. My vision was slightly adjusted, Dr. Han's even had me try a pair of new contact lenses. I am considering lasik vision but if not I definitely will get a new pair of glasses from them! read more

I walked into this place for my appointment and was rudely greeted. After sitting there for a couple minutes, the woman behind the front desk (Ellen) tells me I am not covered under my insurance. This happens every time I have come here and we usually are able to fix the problem. However, I guess Ellen is new because she was absolutely useless and rude. She talked down to me as if I was wrong but she clearly did not know how to do her job. She was rude, unhelpful, incompetent, and made this the most unpleasant visit. I waited patiently and was very understanding and nice, but she had such an attitude. I left and will never go back. read more

These people may be accommodating but my wife went in to update her prescription and was subjected to high intensity salesmanship for expensive frames. Sure, they are patient--patiently getting you to spend more money you don't need to spend. Immediately thereafter, it turned out her insurance policy stipulated that many designer brands are discounted, by agreement with the insurance company. That was passed over lightly, without details. Even worse, on those where a discount is given, the retail price is so jacked up to begin with its an outrageous scam. If 4 bananas are marked $450, of course getting them for $160 is a "bargain". Really. Then, it turned out competitors, including other Pearle Vision stores, were heavily discounting the same frames that very same day. Of course, Groupon offered insanely different prices as we found out later that day. Let the buyer beware. This experience shows the ads and so-called deals are a joke for Pearle Vision. So nice and so professional! Went in today to have my eyes checked and see about new glasses. I need progressives which are a pain and expensive, even with insurance. Started with Dr. Hahn. He spent plenty of time with me and explained more than any optometrist has in the past. I felt very much at ease. I enquired about about contacts for my eyes because I am quite active and the glasses can get in the way. He took the tone to explain why contacts are very difficult when you need correction for both distance and reading. He suggested a compromise that wouldn't give me perfect vision either way but would likely be good enough for occasional use. His solution also had the benefit of being the least expensive way of using contacts. He even offered to give me a few sets of daily contacts to see if they worked before I orders them. I was then out to see Ellen who not only had the the patience to help me choose glasses but to then teach me how to use contacts. First we did the glasses and she showed me all the options without making me feel like I was being pushed into more expensive options. With the contacts she took me step by step and had the patience of a saint. I had never used contacts before and thought it would be difficult, Ellen had me taking them in and out in just a few minutes. Overall a great experience. Not once did I feel rushed as everyone took the time needed. I couldn't possibly recommend this Pearle Vision more. read more

It's now clear to me that I'm never coming back here after today's visit. I came here for my mother's lenses so I asked for help from this young charming looking man. At first, he's being attentive and enthusiastic; he's complimenting my mother and wants her info. But as soon as I finally ask for the estimated prices for different options of lenses, he immediately becomes non-receptive to my questions, and walks away. My mother can't speak English so I am translating for her, yet I turn around, and he's no longer there. He's sit down back to his little area speaking with a different customer on the phone, "enthusiastically." So I walk up to him, and I tell him, "Thank you for your help." He doesn't even look up from his computer, and to be honest, I walked out feeling like sh*. Even when I first came in with my mother, I wasn't greeted by any of the five employees that were there in that small area. Thank you for your business. read more

The service here is excellent! I called last night five minutes before closing (didn't know it at the time) with a few questions hoping to get the general vibe of the place. I spoke to Gary and he was so thorough with his answers that it convinced me to ditch a potential Cohens Groupon and visit here. Today I was examined by Dr. Michael Han (Hans?). He actively listened to all of my questions, answers, observations etc. and gave his advice. Apparently I don't blink enough, which is something that no other doctor has ever told me. Mind-blowing. Lisa helped me pick out my glasses and she was great. She made suggestions, offered a few tips on eyeglass care and gave her opinion. It took me almost an hour to pick my frames (I looked through all of the racks twice, changed my mind at the last second due to a Mom-intervention by email; can you say insane?) but she never became impatient. Overall, everyone there was very friendly and I would definitely go here again for another pair of glasses. read more

The staff was helpful in finding and helping me pick out the right lenses to match my face. I visited Pearle vision for my first ever Rx and I am so happy I chose them. The staff at this store is all so warm and friendly, I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff member that worked with me made me feel so comfortable and helped me try on lenses throughout the whole store. I recently went to purchase glasses for my 4 1/2 year old for the first time and our family was helped by Ronnie. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all, patient and kind to our son. She made my son feel special and cool that he has to wear glasses. Ronnie was kind enough to go through pricing of a few pairs so that our financial needs were met. She promptly ordered my sons lime green glasses, which came in super fast and made my sons day! He loves his lime green glasses! The lenses were ready extremely fast, and when I picked the glasses up Ronnie gave us green cases because she knew that was my sons favorite color and he would love it! And he did. He was very excited everything was green for him! We also encountered Gary who was also super sweet and a great guy. He made my son feel like such a cool big guy! Overall, the hours are great! Good service but eyeglass adjustments are off. Shops should know it is important to keep the symmetry of the frames and not distort this symmetry in any way when adjusting as your eyes are sensitive to slight changes. After several trips it is still slightly off but will try another place for precision. read more

I was extremely satisfied with this place when I first began coming here. However, since then, they've gotten some new staff members, one who has been extremely incompetent in every interaction I've had with her - whether it be in store or over the phone. The staff was very pleasant and happy when I used to visit, but now it just seems like there is always so much tension between the staff members here - it can be very uncomfortable and awkward to be around. To avoid being around the store and witnessing the tensity, I opted to make phone calls whenever I could. I called up once and without even getting 3 words in I was told by a very stressed-out sounding member of the staff that they would call me back because they were "trying to do 10 things at once." I got hung up on, and was never called back. Another time I called, I was spoken to like a child, with the staff member (I'm assuming it was the newer girl) very condescendingly calling me "sweetie." I was appalled. It was so unprofessional. She didn't even end up answering my question! It was a very simple question regarding if the doctor could rewrite a prescription, but she had me repeat it countless times and still managed to respond with irrelevant answers. Ronnie still does her job efficiently, and Gary is very competent as well, but other staff members here are really bringing down the overall quality of the customer experience. read more

This was my first visit. I had an excellent experience right from the time I booked the appointment online. The availability of evening hours made it very easy to book an exam. From the time I walked in, I felt like a welcomed and appreciated customer. The initial paperwork was minimal and took just a few minutes to fill out. I was then taken in immediately to see Dr. Hans. He is very personable and has an excellent "bedside manner," being very patient and explaining the results of his tests. I then went to see Ronnie, who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful in assisting me in selecting the right frames for my face and the correct progressive lenses. She navigated through the insurance paperwork without a hitch. The glasses were ready in two days, which was a complete (but pleasant) surprise. The optician who fitted my glasses was very friendly and competent. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this establishment, and won't think twice about returning. We have been seeing Dr. Hans for several years and our experience has always been great. He is kind compassionate and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed and receive honest advise. Recently my teenage son went to see Dr. Hans for his exam and this year he wanted to get contact lens. I wanted to take the time to mention two wonderful staff members that truly went above and beyond in making this experience a success. The patience and kindness of associate Yana was wonderful. She went out of her way to build my sons confidence and encouraged him not to give up. We needed to come back a second time as it was difficult for my son to manage this new task of putting taking his contacts in and out. On our second try, Ellen helped my son and her kind manner and celebrating my son successes was just wonderful.
