The folks at Roslyn Eye Center are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the different Eyeglasses in the store and how they fit your face. I walked in with a pair of titanium frames, supposedly unbreakable, but I managed to break them. I didn't buy these glasses at Roslyn Eye Center, but when I brought them in,, it took them one day to repair the supposedly unbreakable glasses. How great is that!! They carry a tremendous number of different frames to fit any face, with different styles and price points. Great hometown store! read more

Oh my goodness!!! I can see clearly now! Doctor Battaglia examined me and was so patient, caring and beyond thorough. Kevin, who can never retire for as long as I need glasses, knows his patients. Down to the type of nose guard I need for my comfort! My vision worsened considerably in 1 eye. Between the 2 of them, they discussed my results and creatively planned the prescription distribution for my new glasses. Kevin has once again proven that he is an outstanding optician, who settles for nothing less than perfect. ! Try them for yourself! You will SEE what I am talking about! read more

Update 12/28/19 - most importantly service is consistent. People are really nice, visit was simple, and I always find glasses I like. Today was now my third visit and each eye doctor visit and glass purchase has been pleasant. And also bought a groupon which is a good deal. My vision insurance only takes contacts or glasses so this deal helps me out when I need both on some years. Original review: Fast simple and easy. Really nice people. Bought a groupon to check out to place. Knowing it was it Roslyn I was expecting snooty people but actually they exceeded my expectation and was extremely nice. Also I bought eyeglasses on Saturday and they were done by Monday. Super fast! I would def recommend this place. read more

We have been going to Roslyn Eye Centre for many years and really love the customer service there. This past week we went there to get sports glasses for my daughter. Gary, Hilma, and Mark went above and beyond to help us find the best fit glasses and spent extra time to come up with a way to ensure the sports glasses were a comfortable fit even with a very high script. I highly recommend this place for their amazing customer service and great selection of frames! read more

Absolutely the best service! Gary and his team were excellent with making sure I picked the right sunglasses. He showed me over 20 different frames that all looked amazing. I ended up picking out a Moscot glasses frame that he was able to put a dark grey mirrored sunglasses lens in. I was so happy with how they turned out. I would highly recommend Roslyn Eye Centre to anyone who is looking for a new spot to get stylish sunglasses or regular glasses. I can't wait to come back and pick out regular glasses next year! They have the biggest selection of frames I have ever seen! read more

I needed new lenses for a frame I already had and Kevin worked with me to give me what I wanted. First, I was unsure of my prescription so Kevin suggested I see the optometrist. I'm glad I did because even though the distance was the same, she changed the reading a bit (and I'm glad she did). Kevin meticulously did the needed measurements for my new lenses. I have never had an optometrist do the measurements so thoroughly. When I picked up my glasses, it was easy to see his hard work had paid off. Kevin did a great job. I absolutely recommend Roslyn Eye Center for your vision needs. read more

I believe I was treated unfairly at Roslyn Eye Center !! This establishment was graciously providing healthcare workers with complimentary protective safety goggles . I know this because 3 coworker received free pairs after visiting this location . I visited the store for the same courtesy ...... the store owners acted as if this wasn't the practice and appeared not to know what I was talking about . They did finally bring out a pair of goggles which they stated was free but then tried to charge me $15 , then $10 and then finally $ 5.00. Needless to say I walked out . I felt disrespected and saddened by their actions . Bad Business /Moral Practices !! read more

Got my new glasses here last week. They could not be more helpful, from moment I walked through their door. The owner Gary happened to be the person who helped me select the perfect pair for my face. I couldn't be happier! read more

So I lost my glasses a few weeks ago and I was in desperate need of a new pair because i work in an office environment where I'm constantly on the computer as you can imagine my eyes were killing me by the end of the day, anyway my co-worker recommended to go to Roslyn eye centre so passed by after work and I met Gary the owner which greeted me with a friendly smile I told him my situation and he took care of me as if I was one of his own family members. So professional, knowledgeable, kind, sweet, patient, and most importantly efficient. He set up an exam time for me we picked out frames right there and then after my exam he said they would be ready the next day I couldn't believe it, I come in the next day and there they were ready ... when I came in to pick them up the manager Martha and all the girls were so friendly even gave me a coffee and handed me my glasses. I am extremely happy with my glasses they are everything I want to thank Roslyn eye center and their staff for treating me like gold I recommended everyone to go here for their eye wear needs they have it all from eye glasses to sun glasses to ski goggles to sport eye wear all kids glasses I mean the entire works . Took my son here for his first pair of glasses. They were so nice and helpful. He got a pair of glasses that suit him perfectly, and he gets tons of compliments on them. In short, they made a first pair of glasses for a child a great experience. I do think that their children's selection is better than their adult selection for frames, but I will definitely consider using them for myself when I need glasses again. read more

Coming to this place was like a NYC 5th ave experience, so classy and beautiful the staff was very nice and helpful. My family and i came for eye exams and glasses and we were warmly greeted by Gary the store owner. He then introduced us to Dr. Battaglia-caponga the onsite optometrist, she was sweet, informative, knowledgeable, and so professional. after we all got our exams done Marta the store manager who was so welcoming helped my wife and i pick out our fabulous frames. Roslyn Eye Centre has a great variety of name brands which we loved because we were very indecisive on what would look best but their beautiful styles made it easy to pick something just right. Gary helped my children find their frames he was so sweet and patient with them they both love their glasses. what i thought was really cool was that they have motorcycle glasses, goggles, and snowboarding glasses that can all be customized with your prescription which was very impressive i had never heard for any other place have that. its safe to say i will be coming here for all mine and my families eye care needs, Thank you Roslyn Eye centre for being so accommodating and professional! read more
