Kevin Was AWESOME!! He assisted me with getting new glasses and made sure I choose the right pair.. I would give 10 stars if I could !!! Great Service !! read more

Dr Paul is great and that is only thing good about this place! The front office and the lab they send orders to are terrible. They fail to follow up, return phone calls, and poor quality. This was first time using this place and will not be going back. It has been discovered that this place has bad reputation since ownership changed. read more

The BEST optometrist I've ever been to! So informative AND nice! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were in and out in a very timely manner. All of the equipment was updated and it felt very clean and professional. I highly recommend! read more

Today I visited Pearle for my yearly exam. I love Pearle Dr Paul and the staff however today was on the opposite side of the spectrum. Apparently they are under new ownership and there was a women by the name of Marie there who was supposedly training the current staff. Hardly! I felt horrified for these poor people. This person was not only completely unprofessional; she had no business training anyone. Several people stood in line and staff that dared ask a question she would tell them they needed to wait while taking personal calls on her cell phone. Sorry Pearle...I truly adored my visits but I wont be returning and I hope that this Marie person is not the standard of the new ownership. read more

This is a terrible location. There are no prices on any of the glasses and you have to ask for each pair you look at. Long long lines of people waiting for help because they are spending time looking up frames when they could be helping people. Avoid! There are other locations that have prices. read more

My husband and myself have gone to this location for two years now and we could not be more happy. Dr. Paul is fantastic! He explains things very well and just makes you feel comfortable. I have never had an issue with insurance and this office. My last glasses were bent incorrectly but i went back the next week and some one adjusted them for me. I had a eye infection and they worked me in on the same day. I would recommend. read more

If you are the market for eye glasses/sunglasses and were expecting the "written" money back guarantee visible on the Pearle Vision Website, ensure that the location is not a Franchise. We were totally mislead after spending $500 on glasses that if we weren't 100% satisfied, we would receive in-store credit which wasn't the case b/c Franchisees don't have to follow that guarantee. Furthermore, after submitting an on-line request to have someone follow back up with me (Pearle Vision Customer Care), I was given a Ticket # and asked to wait five days. It's now been 35 days with no response via email or call. I will never ever purchase another product from Pearle Vision (Corporate Store or Franchised) ever again! read more

I scheduled a full year in advance. Today, two weeks out, I get a call, reminding me to schedule my annual visit. But it is already scheduled! No! That was merely a "pre-appointment". Since I did not call them a month in advance (who knew?! I got no reminder!) they gave my time to someone else. At least that is what the very rude young woman told me. She told me to slow down and stop talking so fast. Excuse me? Explain to me why on earth I would like to continue doing business with this operation. When I make a dental appointment, it sticks. Doctor appt, same. Why did I lose my EYE APPOINTMENT? I really like this doctor, though. Too bad the scheduling is a game of Tetris. read more

Not a customer of this facility..thank goodness. Came with my cousin for her to get new contacts. Noone offered any help from the moment we arrived, its like we were deciding what to do. My cousin was confused and not comfortable. During exam I wandered the store and was asked if i needed anything or wanted to look alone. Staff talked and ate donuts while other customers wandered around. They are helpful when they want money and want to sell 4 pairs of glasses to one person. Greedy unprofessional group over there. read more

I just attempted to go to your store to inquire about buying glasses and an eye exam. The woman working when I walked in was extremely "curt" telling me to "sit down and she would be with me" vs "hi sir, would you mind looking around for a moment and I'll be right with you?" I don't like to be bossed around when I'm spending money. Also, after waiting for at least 10 minutes, I never did receive that help. I finally left and said sarcastically "Thanks for all your help" and a gentleman responded "Thanks have a good day". I will never go back. read more

I've worn glasses/contacts since I was young, and have lived in many places, so I've been to many different eyeglass stores. I highly recommend Pearle as I had a very good experience there. Dr Paul was great! Very pleasant, informative and thorough. The Optoscan was really good because I didn't have to go thru the annoying dilation process. Angelyce was really helpful finding the best frames for me, and gave her honest opinion while being diplomatic and professional. She spent a lot of time trying to help me make the right choice. Angelyce was awesome! read more

I am recently married therefore my vision insurance changed. I called the office to find out if they accept my insurance and I was told that they do. I made my appointment for the following week. Leading up to my appointment I was emailed 2 confirmations, received one text confirmation as well as a phone call confirming my appointment. The day of my appointment I walk in and am told by the lady they actually don't accept my insurance. When I ask why I wasn't called they tried to tell me they called and left me two messages. Which they definately did not. What a waste of time and poor customer service! read more

Please Beware, when you make an appointment it's thru their call center in Cincinnati, OH. I made an appointment for me & my husband for 1/6/18, and asked them to verify my Blue Vision FEP insurance. Jason at the center verified that my husband and I WERE covered. When we arrived they looked our coverage up and claimed we were NOT covered. Blue Cross-Blue Vision FEP is not in their system. The receptionist stated this was an ongoing problem. If it's an "ongoing problem" perhaps they should FIX it! We have been to Dr Paul at this location before when we did not have vision coverage, paid for the exam out of pocket, and he is a very qualified professional but the insurance issue is a problem so check with your carrier personally to make sure your insurance is accepted before making an appointment. read more

I normally don't do these but i just want to say what an amazing experience i had since I walked in the door. From the exam until I had to select my glasses Angelyce was great and was so knowledgeable and made me feel like I made the right decision. Thank you. read more

I had a very pleasant first time experience. Vicky was particularly help and very kind. The doctor was very nice and took the time to explain and answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed or pushed into things. Did one of the retinal mapping's which I thought could be a waste but for myself it was worth while. The doctor was nice and sat down to read the test in front of me which I appreciated. The only bad thing I could say which was not a big deal was that they did not have a patient waiting area. That's nothing to do with the staff. I will be going back. read more

For anyone with serious vision correction requirements - glasses or contacts, this is a go-to of the 1st order. Technical Expertise: Optometrist Dr Paul is a true expert. He excels in determining the right prescription. He is patient, caring and pleasant. The lab is on site (I was tempted to say "On Sight", since I can never resist a good pun) and is phenomenal at getting your prescription translated onto your new lenses. Why only 4 stars: I wear glasses, not contacts. Their frames are mostly high end, designer styles and that's really not an option for me. However, offsetting the cost of those frames is a money-saving 2-for-1 program for the lenses. There is a rack of discounted frames that this discount also applies to and I've always found better buys there. read more

I went here for an eye exam and they gave me a trial contact lens that fit well (I have bad astigmatism and this is always a struggle). However, they wrote the contact lens prescription wrong and when I ordered the lenses I could not see well. I went back in and they refused to fix the problem, saying that I would have to pay for them to see me again to fix a problem they should have fixed the first time! I would think that a credible doctor would actually be accountable for his written prescription. But no, I am now stuck with poor vision after having already paid for an exam and lenses. read more

Dr. Paul is great to work with... professional, efficient, and personable. However, the staff's efficiency, not so much. I was called and asked if I wanted to book my annual appointment so I requested December 4 and immediately noted it in my calendar. When I arrived they said I did not have an appointment today and that I had missed my appointment from November 30. I never scheduled for November 30. They didn't apologize or try to fit me in. This is not the first time this has happened. I really like Dr. Paul but it appears I need to look for another location that knows what good customer service is. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Paul for a couple years now, and he is the best eye doctor I have ever went to. I have terrible vision and I've always had a hard time going in for eye exams because other businesses seemed to have at least one insensitive member of their staff who feels the need to say how bad my eyesight is---loudly! The staff at Pearle Vision Desert Ridge is very friendly and professional. Instead of making me feel embarrassed about being just about blind, they explain my vision changes and give me options when it comes to contact lenses and glasses. Dr. Paul takes the time to get to know his patients and make sure that they are comfortable. He's had me try on a few pairs of contacts and made sure they fit perfectly, as well as answer any questions I may have. He doesn't seem rushed to get through the exam, which I appreciate very much. I've also had to get my glasses adjusted a few times and their staff is always quick to help. I would have given them 5 stars, but their frames and lenses are very pricey. Everything else is fantastic! read more
