No greeting when I came in had taken over 25mins between paper work, finding insurance for someone on the phone confusing it for me. The 2 people in the front Had no interactions with me greeting wise beside asking information from me without directing it toward me or acknowledgement of a person. Proceed to wait. The dr finally came out 30 mins in total. Had an attitude demanding I go back bc I had then receive an important call asked for a min as I had already waited 30 mins.I proceeded to the back to ask how long the initial appointment takes and was told 30 mins. Which at that point I am livid bc she then proceeded to say she was waiting as I was on the phone. I can't scroll thru my phone instead of staring at 2 workers who had no customer service and wait 30 mins on her. I proceeded to leave as they all gave snarky comments. The front guy girl and girl dr. Never again rude people and will not recommend people here and will not be back and will make it a point to tell everyone who I come in contact with. * Let's clarify there was no other patients in the waiting room out side of one phone call both took while I walked in so please elaborate busy more like no business and clearly you are trying to cover you behind. In reality you guys are an inconvenience on my end waste time rude and clearly can't take no owner ship of such behavior. Typical behavior and will contact corporate till this is resolved. Really someone demanding adults to abide by what you say like you're someone ( per the heavy set female dr.) They do get the option of taking reviews off by flagging them for google to do but it will be my personal agenda to let people know such horrible experiences as you guys flagged and got removed your most recent 3 to 4 other patients review because the dr rushed thru & was rude, the front staff were talking stuff about patients in front of other patients. Had no good customer service again lack of acknowledgment to patients with questions instead of answering them just ignored completely. I will use any platform to continue to leave a review well deserved and needed for other potential clients to see to seek care else where. I went for my second eye exam in two weeks yesterday. During my first exam, my eyelid was very swollen and I was diagnosed with blepharitis and maybe some dry eye. I was given some lid scrubs and charged $40.00 under my vision insurance. Yesterday, after following the instructions with the lid scrubs, I went back in because my eyes are still red and scratchy. But since this was my second visit, they now charged me for a visit to a "specialist" under my medical insurance. I was diagnosed with ocular rosacea, which should have been diagnosed during the first visit, as blepharitis and ocular rosacea often accompany each other. On both visits, I was given a number of free samples, however, no prescriptions. I'm not sure these eye doctors could actually write a prescription. Overall, this is a chain that specializes in selling expensive eyewear. They're probably fine for a routine, yearly exam, but if you have a real eye problem, you're probably better off seeing an independent ophthalmologist. I don't even need glasses. Pleasant staff. Ample parking. Located in the same parking lot with a Dollar store and a couple of restaurants. Accepts vision and medical insurance. read more

Love Dr. Sanchez but office staff is rude and condescending. I was told they could fix my glasses that I had previously purchased from them and it took over a month and a half to get any response from them. I called several times asking about the status of my glasses and each time was told they would be ready same day if not next day. I am still waiting on my frames to be done. Each and every time was a different excuse. Parts have to be specially ordered because it is a "one of a kind" frame. First time I dropped off my glasses I was told they would be done same day. I received a call saying the lens they received were too small and if I wanted the same lens it would take another week to get done. I agreed and now here we are over three weeks in and still no glasses. I called today and spoke with Adam or Aaron (honestly forgot the name because of how mad I was), he was rude and was speaking over me telling me he did not say the glasses would be done in that time frame (which he did) then continued to speak over me. I loved going to this place but this last experience ruined it for me. I have found similar frames for far less what they charge. I will not be going back. ​Mind you, my appointment was on May 17th and it is now July 3rd. I also noticed that if you are not spending money there they treat you poorly. read more

After being a customer at several lower level optic centers for years, I wanted to have a better experience with the whole process. I decided to try the next level & let me tell you, I don't regret it one bit! I felt like a client at Pearle Vision, not just another customer like at the "box store" optic centers I've worked with in the past. The eye doctor was young and personable, not stiff and awkward like some I've encountered before. Very easy to discuss and ask questions during the whole exam process. The staff was calm and welcoming and everyone in the store knew their product extremely well. Different than what I've experienced at Americas Best where most of their employees feel very unsure or new. The general manager even helped me hand pick a pair of frames that fit my face correctly. Eye care can be expensive but I felt good spending my hard earned money (Contacts, glasses/lenses, and sunglasses) at an establishment that was down to earth but who also has class when it comes to dealing with clients, not just another customer in the door. Poor service, I was over sold a pair of eyewear. When they keep telling you how great they look on you, and no mention of the price, run out of the store fast. When I kept questioning the price after it was shared with me they offered financial help. This was instead of just finding a different pair of frames and lens options that were more suitable for my budget. They also went over on my prescription for my glasses so for the year which I have had them and am still pay on them they are wrong. Making them of little to no use to me now. The coating that was placed on the lens is poor quality and is coming off the lens. I asked about this, it was stated that they are out of warranty. Something that cost the price of a used compact car should have more of a warranty on it (it has not even been a year). They adjusted my contact lens prescription but not my glasses. Then finally over charged me 10. dollars. Only to proceeded further and bother me with regards to getting it back to me. When during each call I stressed that the glasses were still not correct and that I wanted that matter handled first. This was all during the height of covid and even today after a phone call to them they are not willing to do anything to correct the matter in any way. Beware of Esther! She will lie to your face to get $$ from you and then Renege on her promise because "she misunderstood" what you meant. I told her I suffered from vertigo and could not move my head from side to side. So therefore would it be possible to have the prescription made wider instead of just the small portion down the center like most lens. She assured me for $185 per lens that she would see to it that it would be done. I explained to her 3 times that I cannot move my head side to side! When I picked them up and told them they were not correct and the vision field was not what I had asked and Easter had promised, her response was it was my fault for not making it clear to her. NO REFUND, NO MATTER WHAT is there motto! $612 later I have an expensive paper weight! Go to Walmart and I'm sure you will get better results! read more

Dr Fosse was great. I was finally able to get contacts with the correct strength. The office staff was awful. I could feel the chill when they realized I wanted the cheapest frame available. Aaron tried adding all sorts of add ons. Most of which I declined. I realize they store makes their money on selling frames, but I shouldn't be pressured into spending more. I really don't appreciate them refusing to give me my eye measurements when I came in to pick up my glasses after spending $260.00 on frames. My wife's glasses recently had a problem. The frames (not sold by Pearle) broke at the unusual hinge. This happened on a late Friday. I tried this location of Pearle Vision because it was close. I was greeted warmly by Kenny G (?) who was extremely helpful. He had some experience with the maker of our frames. He put them back together, knowing it was just quick fix. He then went further and put a small shrink-wrap tubing on the repair to insure they would stay together until we could get to our Optician. Then, even further, he did not charge me for anything. This location is independently owned and stocked to the brim with designer eyewear - Tiffany's, Versace, Prada, and handcrafted European frames. Their eyewear specialist, Esther, is an artist and knows her trade like no one else. While I met with the doctor (Dr Harris) for a very thorough eye exam, Esther selected a tray of possible frame choices. I'm a difficult fit for glasses with a very narrow nose bridge. Meeting me in passing before the exam, Esther correctly assessed my needs, style, coloring and preferences. Every single pair she selected for me was spot-on perfect for sizing, shape & style. For the first time in many years I had a tough time narrowing down choices. Esther also suggested a secondary pair specific to my jewelry design bench work. Brilliant! Yes. Awesome indeed! I walk in, and a nice young lady shows me where the frames in which I may have an interest are located. As I stand there, I obviously look a bit lost... I was. No worries! Here came Esther. Straight to the point and with astonishing confidence, she says "There's but one shape of frame that will give you the look you deserve. I just need to know: Metal or plastic-- which do your prefer?" Upon telling her that plastic is for me, she gets up, grabs ONE set of frames and sits back down. Seeing the brand on the glasses, I felt like it just wasn't going to happen... Wrong. These Ralph Lauren frames were just $40 more than the lower-priced options. I felt that she truly cared, as she could have wasted my time by grabbing multiple frames just to gauge the amount I was willing to spend, but didn't. Not at all. I went to Pearle Vision at 120th & Sheridan yesterday to get my glasses adjusted. The technician dropped my glasses and chipped a lens. I spoke with the manager, Esther, to see if I could get the lens replaced. She said no but did offer me a discount on lenses if I bought a new pair of glasses. I cannot afford a new pair of glasses, I just want the chipped lens replaced. Is there another Optician that can help me out? They did not explain any of the details or that if i didn't pay it off in 90 days the cost of my glasses would triple. This was the worst sales experience I've ever had! I had a $200 coupon for eyewear and even after the coupon, my frames, lenses and appointment would have been well over $600. I had to ask 3 times to even get the cheaper lenses and then they tried to charge me an extra $100 for the lenses. The sales people would not leave me alone even after I told them "no" several times and were trying to sell me glasses even as I was walking out the door! He finally after two months of making and remaking my lenses got them so I can see after a prescription change!! Made an eye appointment online with Dr. Lo as we have done in past. We trust Dr. Lo, that's why we go to her. Arrived for appointment ten minutes early for my daughters first contacts exam and checked in. After 30 minutes, without any doctor, I asked if Dr. Lo was even in the office. The manager, Esther, simply stated "No" without any apology or explanation. I'm upset at waiting for a doctor that isn't even there and she doesn't even let us know. Just let us sit there in the sweltering waiting area for nothing. Told us that "Oh, we have another doctor, Dr. Lo is out on extended personal leave." Why would they not let us know that when they called, emailed and texted us appointment confirmations? Never apologized for their failure to follow medical professional standards. Clearly she thinks she has the right to make a change without letting the patient know. I think it's because she doesn't care about you if your not there to buy eyeglasses. Rude, on top of that. Kept talking over me as I'm expressing my displeasure. Has no customer skills, don't shop here. Creepy. read more
