Went to North Range about a year ago because it was relatively close to our house. They told me they were in network after I gave them my insurance info (which they were) yet they never billed my insurance and told me they did and that I owed them $279. I just assumed they were honest people so I paid the amount owed. Come to find out I really should've only paid my $25 copay. I will never go back to this horrible, crooked, deceitful company. read more

I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old and contacts since I was a pre-teen, so I've spent lots of times with optometrists. Dr. Hite is so amazing! I have had the same eye insurance for many years - Dr. Hite knew that my insurance allowed me contacts annually for no charge because they are medically necessary (aka my eyes are REALLY bad). No other optometrist or office ever knew or advised me of this benefit of my insurance, so I've paid for contacts each year. There was a period I couldn't wear contacts any longer because they were really bothering my eyes - Dr. Hite tried me on countless different lenses until we found a pair that worked for me. Coming from a family where my dad was an eye doctor, my standards are pretty high when it comes to my eye care. I wasn't disappointed with Dr. Hite. Both him and his staff are beyond nice, the location is great, and I didn't feel rushed out the door. The office is very clean and the selection of frames is great. I have had severe dry eye for years and Dr Hite was patient and had several new ideas for me to try. He took his time going over my history and answering all my questions. Communication post appointment was nice bonus too, with a follow-up call after my first appointment. I'm so glad this great optometrist moved into my neighborhood! Took three tries to get my new glasses right, but I'm still not liking them as much as my old ones. Guess my new glasses will be my backups since They are not as good as my old ones. The staff is nice and they tried their best, I'll be looking for another optical shop next time around. The doctor did not do any follow up into this situation. read more

Took my daughter there and she needed glasses we got them but they were just right so they had to be changed out. They said a couple of weeks but after 4 we called and funny enough they were just about to call us because they were in. We picked them up and had a follow up scheduled but that needed to be rescheduled because now they say we need a referral for our insurance on the 4 time in which is not true. I wish this place was better. I will update after the next appointment. read more

Dr. Hite was amazing! I've had a pretty high prescription with a nice astigmatism since I was a little girl. I was amazed at how informative and helpful he was. I'm glad I found this place! I've been having issues with my right eye for a long time, at least 6 months. I had believed it was all caused by the allergy. However, even with getting allergy shots every week at the hospital, there was no improvement... So I decided to go see a doctor there. He took lots of time to examine my eyes very carefully and found bumps on back of my eyelid which were caused by my contact lens! He prescribed me a steroid eye drop and explained detail of how it would progress and estimate duration. After 5 weeks, I went back to check with him. I still have some bumps left but it got much better. His staff are very friendly and don't make me wait more than 5 min in a waiting room. I recommend this place! read more

I found this place to be very snooty they acted like they were doing me a favor selling me glasses and the eye care assistant seemed kind of young and not very knowledgeable about my insurance company. A big waste of my time think I would have been better off just to go to Walmart read more

Went here for the first time today. All wonderful staff, super friendly. Doctor was very knowledgeable and very friendly as well. The office is clean and well kept. The equipment used seems like great technology and the doctor did examine my eyes further than I have had before. I've had glasses all my life, this office definitely put me at ease. When it was time to pick my new frames and set my lenses, the team member was so friendly and explained all my insurance benefits before finalizing anything. My current pair of frames was also missing a nose pad and they replaced it for free. Would definitely recommend this office, even though no weekend hours are available. I highly recommend this office. I went in for my annual exam and couldn't have been more pleased. The doctor and his staff ( which includes his wife) are all very sweet and professional. Its a small office but I like that because the doctor took his time and was very thorough in his examination. They have a good frame selection although I didn't actually browse too much. Best Doctor in the world. Both my boys suffered bad eye injuries, and Dr. Hite was there for them. he managed their injury without me having to go to an ER. He even took time out of his day off to come in and check my son's eye to see how it was healing. If only all Doctors were as in love with their field as Dr. Hite is. I'd trust him with anyone's eye. We took our whole family here. They prescribed glasses for some who didn't need it. Mine they had to redo because the prescription was wrong. That was a year ago. Three pairs of the glasses we bought have broken since then. They told me too bad, the warranty is up now. I got a prescription elsewhere when mine broke out of state last month, then made an appointment with front range to get contacts. The day before my appointment they told me I didn't need an appointment, since I had a prescription, so they cancelled it. Then when I showed up to buy contacts, they said I needed a separate prescription for contacts, so I DID need an appointment, but now I'd have to reschedule 2 weeks out. They were rude, blamed me for the problem, and offered no solutions. read more

I set initial appoint for a routine eye exam.... during the exam I exclaimed I had eye pain. The additional test cost money - he wrote a RX prescription for something I could pick up over the counter. The subject of chronic dry eye came up and Hite requested that I come back in a couple of weeks after using the "prescription". 2nd visit Hite told me to wear a patch - this visit cost me $95.00 - He said I needed to set up a 3rd visit - he took the same pictures of the eye and told me to continue with the RX cream / patch for 6 mos - then tried to set me up with a 4th visit, I did not. He charged me $143.00 for the 3rd visit........... Seriously?? I went to Target received a RX for anti-inflammatory drops with in 5 min - DONE six months pain free. I write this because I just received an insulting reminder for an outstanding balance - I sent to them them my copy of the zero balance due by patient they gave me when I paid at my final visit -hope they get their records straight. You decide if your eyes are worth the risk of an expensive bad diagnosis - never again for me. read more
