Because of this question, which was unsolicited, my medical insurance was billed in addition to vision. When I questioned the charge, the billing manager told me that I must have forgotten the conversation because they always communicate things like that very clearly. The only thing communicated was that I should continue doing what I'm already doing. Before this conversation I even made a point of saying I didn't want one of their services - something to do with a picture of my eyes for health - because it wasn't covered under vision insurance. I'm disgusted with the experience and feel like I've been scammed! There's nothing routine about a routine exam from Front Range Eye Associate!

I I checked later online with my insurance and it was going to be a $40 copay so called to ask why. The business office did not return my call for 4 days so called again and was a little irrated as I get nervous when I have to wait to find out about something that bothers me. I got a phone message at the end of that day explaining it was how the doctor coded it and if I did not pay in 30 days I would be sent to collections. I had not been billed so I called and asked why. They said a note was put in my file saying I refused to pay. So if you ask a question they say you refuse to pay? I never refused to pay. Also VSP usally a $10 copay but was going to be $49 based on the doctor's coding of the exam. They had said $10 the day of the exam. Very confusing as no other eye doctor had coded it other than an eye exam. I will have to go elsewhere next year.

I've been to top ophthalmologists in NYC, LA, Denver, and other major cities, but have never been served better. Dr Dech diagnosed me very carefully (and with a crazily friendly attitude!), and nailed her diagnosis. And then suggested simple & inexpensive treatments. She and her assistant Jeanette then went out of their way to provide me right there & then with a non-scheduled service (at no additional charge), for which I remain hugely grateful. I can promise you a top-of-the-line medical experience there. Yeah, I was surprised, but delighted.

They called me back shortly after and offered me a slot the next day. All of the forms are online which is great. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is open, clean, and inviting. The front desk staff was nice. The vision tech that takes all the initial measurements and such was extremely friendly. The Optometrist that I saw was super friendly and thorough. The Optician was very candid, helpful and friendly. Even better, the entire ordeal for a checkup, with OptiMap, and classes was $200 less than the place I was going. I'd definitely recommend them.

After looking at reviews of optometrists in the area I contacted Eyecare Center and explained my situation, without hesitation or any attitude (I run into that more and more these days), the office had me come right over. I saw Dr. Dupuis, he was great.. professional yet personable, and witty without the use of tired, corny eye jokes my eye doc back home uses. I originally had just planned to just buy a pair of replacement contacts, but Dr. Eric took the time to check my contact lens prescription to ensure it was still accurate...it wasn't. He gave me an emergency pair of contacts with my updated prescription. Their pricing on lenses was less than what my eye doc back home charges so I ended up ordering more through Eyecare Center to have mailed back to my home. The only negative is the fact they're located in Boulder and not where I live, otherwise I'd be switching to Eyecare Center & Dr. Eric for my eyecare needs. After seeing the positive reviews on here, I made the trek from a suburb on the opposite side of Denver and, thankfully, it was completely worth it. Dr. Le was able to squeeze me in last second and was super helpful when helping me order new glasses and lenses. She sat down with me and explained all the options and helped me optimize my insurance benefits. The two ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful in initially getting me time with Dr. Le and then also during the checkout process. Highly recommend!

I desperately contacted this office during the early hours of the morning and Dr Lee quickly responded from her personal number.
