The new lenses were a little off. They made me a little dizzy walking around with them. I told the optician my concerns, but her responses were repeatedly a dismissive "weird" and "interesting." Only saying they were the same prescription. Fine, but I could not see as well as the original ones. Even after I mentioned that I've had glasses not right at other places, they had been able to adjust them perfectly, and could she try that? She made a slight adjustment to the nose piece and told me to wear the lenses for a few days. That was silly, as I should be able to see through them as perfectly as the originals...and they made me dizzy! The fact that she was so unwilling to help was incredibly frustrating. Ultimately, I had to refuse the new lenses and have my old ones put back in. Her immediate "okay" showed a complete lack of concern. I am disappointed that spending $700 gets me this kind of customer service. If I could have seen clearly, I obviously would have walked away with them. I drove from Boulder to get them. She was completely unconcerned that these did not work for me. Glasses are expensive. Go somewhere where your vision is important to them.

He answered every question I had. He advised how I should manage the dry eye symptoms I was having (also gave me some eye drop samples!). Dr. Robinson's bedside manner is very easygoing and pleasant, I felt lots of good energy. I did not feel like a number, I felt like a person that he cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Robinson and Longmont Eye Care.

When the optical part of my doctor's office closed, I needed to look elsewhere. I wanted to find a place that accepted my vision insurance (VSP). It was the good reviews on Yelp that led me to visit Third Avenue Eyecare. I am so glad that I did! The customer service and knowledge of both Chaz and Laura were top notch. They were able to recommend frames that fit my face and would work with progressive lenses. I don't know about you, but I get overwhelmed when I go into an optical store and have to choose frames. I love how Third Avenue Eyecare sent an email prior to the visit asking me to visit their website to check out potential frames. I then submitted my choices which were available to try on at the appointment. That is so customer friendly and made things so much more efficient! I was able to search online for frames by brand, type and color. I have never seen that before at an in-person optical store. Such a great experience!

The receptionist at the eye doctor portion of the building was extremely sweet and kind. Dr. Neka was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I also liked how she explained all the rebate options available for my contacts and was sure to give me an itemized receipt. Several places will hand you the rebate paper and send you off. Anything helps when it comes to paying for contacts! They also have a great website that you can schedule appointments on. It was easy to use and it worked. They also offer a great variety of appointment times which is awesome if you work M-F like me. I will definitely continue to follow up at this office and highly recommended it to anybody.

My wife made an appointment for problems she was having with her eyes after she had nasal surgery…read more I went with her since she didn't want to drive since her eyes were dilated. We had a very long wait for her appointment. The waiting room smelled very musty and stale and the chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat on. There were also stains on the ceiling tiles in the examination room. She was seen by Dr Gitchell. She was diagnosed with dry eyes and given a list of things to try including prescription eye drops. She was told to use them 4 times a day for 10 days for both eyes but was only given 1mg of drops. On average there are 20 drops per mg so she needed at least 4mg (80 drops). Do they not teach basic math in med school? After 3 days my wife was out of drops. She called the office to refill the prescription and after a few phone calls she was told they were too busy to work on her prescription. My wife called her daughter who works in healthcare and she called and ripped them a new one. In return they dropped my wife. Stay away from Insight Vision Group. They are lazy and incompetent.

I know that there is supposed to be temporary dry eye/eye discomfort in the recovery from PRK, but it is now 3+ years later and I have equal or worse eye discomfort than before the surgery. I now do lots of eye drops during the day, eye ointment and humidifier at night, and warm compresses just to be functional but still very uncomfortable. When I got a second correction done 6 months after my first surgery, I found out they replaced the machine they used for my first surgery only a couple weeks after. They really should have told me they were replacing the machine when I scheduled my first surgery. I do not know if it was the old machine, the doctors, or that I had -5.75 vision before getting PRK, but I feel they should have consulted me better prior to the surgery. My vision is good now, but I could not be more unsatisfied with the daily eye discomfort I have. If this is what I knew the result would be ahead of time, I would have just switched to glasses.
