How does one right a review for church? I've been going to Pearl Harbor Chapel since 1998? I was raised Catholic, but never really enjoyed going to mass until our dear family friends invited us here. From the moment we walked in, my family felt "at home".
Pearl Harbor Chapel is located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor, so to attend mass, you'd have to be military, or know someone who has access. Like Raymond S. stated those are the times for Catholic mass. There is also Protestant services, but I'm not sure on the exact times. They are usually posted on the sign outside of the church.
Pearl Harbor Chapel's current priest is Father John who gives homilies that you can relate to and also incorporates his love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and love for Pittsburgh in general. With Pearl Harbor Chapel, you will see priests come and go as is with the military. The congregation is welcoming and very friendly; however as is with the military, many families come and go.
Overall, I love Pearl Harbor Chapel. I drive from Wahiawa to go to mass here weekly, and will continue to do so as it "feels like home" :) read more
