Being able to utilize resources and volunteering for purposes greater than just ourselves. There's so many ways to grow with this church and actively be involved. We attended a marriage seminar workshop here, was fortunate to have our one year old daughter blessed as well. There are an array of Ohana groups on campus to join, a preschool, and mission trips as well! We love how this church as an organization focuses more on giving back through its community outreach programs! We are sad that they will be converting to one campus as we loved it's Kapolei location which is closer to home. However we are excited to see what is in store at the Waipahu campus as we continue to give back a portion of what God has blessed us with so we can continue to grow in our faith and help others!

So glad to become a part of the New Hope Leeward community. Located by the Home Depot in Kapolei, where there is traffic control for every service and a welcoming group of people ready to help get us situated with daycare if needed, greeting us at the entrance and seating us for service. Now with changes in our world today, New Hope continues to lead us through service online with amazing messages to keep us going. The best thing...I get to have my coffee and breakfast while I follow service online, it's awesome!

Amazing ancient wooden church reminiscent of years past. A true gem of ecclesiastical architecture…read morelocated in Ewa. A very diverse and enthusiastic parish. I come here on days when I'm free and always marvel at the 1929-circa structure and architectural adornments that provide a proper, peaceful, contemplative atmosphere for worshipping God,in all his Triune magnificence. The church contains a proper Nave, Narthex, Atrium, and Ambo. The original wooden buttresses have been repainted in a more modern color, but imagine they were splendid back in the day in their natural Koa wood simplicity. My poor photos do not do it justice. A church this old is certainly in need of recurring maintenance and I think the parish does well on the limited budget. But with all old buildings, there is always much to still do to preserve. I hope and pray that this beautiful church can always remain here on Oahu and that restoration efforts continue. I enjoy the beautiful Eucharistic Adoration on first Fridays and the fact that a lovely dedicated group of parishioners stay after Mass to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet together. I fully appreciate how piously the parish keeps a period of holy silence before Mass begins. This allows one to gather thoughts, offer personal prayers and prepare to as St Paul says: "offer yourselves as a perfect sacrifice to the Lord..." Highly recommend a visit here for worship and prayer. Mahalo for reading my review. Pax et Bonum.

Sadly my participation here was for her funeral and today is the celebration of her life...where we were invited to express our loss and show the love we have along with the lists of songs we provided them and oh how the sang and brough the entire crowd to tears...very moving in a beautiful way I know she's here and loved it all. They have a few parking which is the biggest challenge but this lovely place is just a simple yet stunning decor, everyone here is just pure delight and I just love love love how they all support us with a table to place pictures extra vases for flowers making us all feel the love. Thank you!

#16 for 2020 This…read morebecame our church when my family moved here back in the 70s. I've been coming here off and on through the years to now. Living off island I still come here when we visit. I still have friends who attend. Gone through many Fathers through the decades. Got our house blessed by one. And, blessed a couple other times by others. Got married by one. Had funeral services here for my parents too. This church has served as the foundation for my family and continues to do so for my time. When I do attend mass, I feel all that and it helps to bring the comfort. So, what am I trying to say? It's a good church.

If you're visiting or looking for a new home church look no further.. Thank you Pastor Patricia for sharing your story so close to your heart of your children. I will continue to keep them in prayer. 25 is so young I myself worked in cardiology for a couple years and now have a brother and mom who have diabetes. No one knew that when I walked through the doors I had my own story. You see I lost my only child age 24 in a blink of an eye to a tragic accident. March 5th was exactly 5 years. He loved the ocean which is why I am in Hawaii and reading James with you today was perfect, My husband and I both at one time lost the ability to walk and are walking Miracles. The presence of God was here! 8am church was perfect no reason to miss church no matter the day you have planned. May you always prosper! Facilities and restroom very clean. No one is overbearing and the seats are amazingly comfortable

The church is actually about 90% digital and only 10% analog, and no one looks down on me because I use the bus for my transportation to get here. Urgent: Inappropriate and Harassing Behavior at Pearlridge Church Main Campus:…read more I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the behavior of a staff member at Pearlridge Church Main Campus, who is also part of the men's ministry. This individual has repeatedly harassed me in the past over the course of nine months, asking for personal information, and acted in ways that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Such conduct is not only unprofessional but also fundamentally wrong for someone representing a church that teaches love, compassion, and respect. The breaking point was when I arrived at church on 9/21/25 at 6PM, and this staff member blocked the entrance, insisting I had to sit in the back, despite knowing I always sit in the front. I explained that I have vision, hearing, and focus issues, and I need to sit in the front to fully experience the Holy Spirit and receive God's message. Keep in mind, there are plenty of open seats and an entirely empty front row. His response was dismissive: "Well, I suggest you come earlier then." Still blocking the doorway, I was appalled. I told him that I always sit in the front, and his reaction was turning me away from attending service altogether. Does he treat everyone with physical or health conditions this way or was it just me? His demonic spirit--his anger, hostility, and intrusive behavior--completely overshadowed the spirit of love and community that church should embody. I felt so uncomfortable that I chose to walk away from his energy and instead sat in a front corner where I could enjoy the service peacefully. Later, I saw the same staff member hovering near the side of the stage next to the worship team, glaring at me with anger. His energy was oppressive and demonic, creating a distracting, uncomfortable, and hostile environment for me. Only the work of the enemy would seek to distract and anger someone who is trying to receive the Word of God and work his way through inside the church. After the service ended, he approached me and asked if I was "good." I responded that I was--was he? As I was leaving, he continued to follow me into the lobby, giving me a feeling like he was stalking me over my shoulder. He then started questioning why I even come to church if I don't obey his demands and called me a distraction for sitting in the front. I reminded him of my health issues and emphasized the importance of sitting in the front to see, hear, and receive God's Word. He then dismissed my concerns and called me a distraction again. I find this behavior unacceptable and unchristian. People walk in and out of service for various reasons--using the restroom, talking on the phone, scrolling social media (including Pastor Russel on stage), or even making distasteful comments during sermons. For example, Pastor Russel's comment about holding in a fart in front of his wife was inappropriate, gross and a distraction, which shows a lack of reverence for the spiritual atmosphere we should be cultivating. I asked this staff member why he felt the need to follow me and reprimand me, why he couldn't simply pray with me instead of trying to punish or shame me. His harassment made me feel so uncomfortable that I chose to walk away from him again. However, he continued to follow me outside the church, shouting at me in front of over a hundred people, telling me, "Don't you want to talk to my boss? Don't you have two minutes?" This is completely unacceptable behavior for someone representing a church and harassing me, creating that hostile environment. I do not know this man's name, but he was working on 9/21/125, 6PM service, hanging around the cafe area when service began( if there's cameras) he was wearing a Pearlside shirt and hat, had a faux hawk underneath his hat, with tattoos on arms and carrying a handheld radio. He kind of looks like Kalae George. His conduct was uncalled for and unbefitting of anyone in ministry, especially at a church that preaches love, respect, and kindness. Such actions do not reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ and are a shame to the body of Christ. It is wrong for a church staff member to behave this way--harassing, intimidating, and bullying those seeking spiritual growth. I pray that Pearlridge Church Management team of that staff will contact me, address this behavior and remember that we are called to love one another, not to act out of demonic anger and hostility. Mahalo!
