Our friendship was blossoming until the day another woman decided to intervene. She maliciously spread hate through our friendship and over time caused it's demise.I thought this other woman was a good person, she seemed very friendly but i should have known her true intent from the start. In reality this other woman was so envious and overcome with hatred and jealousy that she intentionally set out to do harm to the bond i had with my friend. How could someone feign such pleasantness only to turn out to be so ungodly? Understandable this woman confessed to me she was not happy in her life because of the way things are with her spouse and his affairs. I felt compassion for her and tried to be there as a friend. I finally realized she is a doormat for the un good. Her insecurities have trapped her in this utter state of ignorance to where she is blinded by truth and what is good. I came to church today not only to pray for my loved ones and brother's & sister's at war but to pray for this woman that god give her peace. I havent been to church in several months but this is my home church. Thank the lord for bringing me back.I love the fellowship and the pastor is awesome. The feeling i get when i come here is like an outpouring of love! God is good always. This is an amazing place to come to worship. Sunday services start at 7am. Have a blessed day everyone :]

Calvary Chapel Central Oahu is a relatively small church that gathers in the heart of Mililani Town…read morefor worship services, perhaps a couple hundred families, all told. It's part of the Calvary Chapel family of over 1,600 churches worldwide. Sunday services are held weekly at 9:30a.m. inside the Mililani High School cafeteria. The building is nothing fancy, but this congregation of believers is friendly, genuine, and down to earth. Worshippers engage in simple but heartfelt music and prayer, while Pastor Rick Irons provides Bible teaching that is inspired yet easy to understand, delivered with gentle humor. You come away from services with a sense of having fed your soul. (As an aside, those familiar with surfing may remember that "Ricky" Irons was formerly a big wave phenom and board shaper as well as uncle to late surfing legend Andy Irons.) In addition to Sunday services, the church has activities for men, women, couples, and keiki that include mid-week small group Bible studies, Sunday School, spiritual retreats, and church social events. Church is "come as you are" and attire is casual (but tasteful). If you're looking for a welcoming church family, solid Bible teaching, and the opportunity for spiritual encounters with God that leave you satisfied, join us at CCCO!

It looked like all they did with him was play toys & blow bubbles outside. There was all of 3 kids. No snack, no craft. They never changed his diaper either. Songs? Lessons? As for the service, what a pathetic worship team! A guy playing ukulele & 3 girl "singers" that looked absolutely petrified to be on stage! Not even a guitar player, smh. The pastor spent alot of time trying to figure out how to project tiny pics from his phone onto the screen which you couldn't even see. He also seemed unprepared with his sermon, alot of redundancy. Alot of older people, a somewhat welcoming vibe but meh not really feeling it. I say these things not to be critical but to be constructive. If you offered snacks, had a better worship team, sunday school teachers were on time & prepared & sermon wasnt redundant, maybe you would attract more people.

When I was younger, on occasion I would be dragged to church with my pretentious aunt. It was completely unnecessary and hypocritical. I love my aunt for trying, but really, who was she kidding? Anyway, my main point being... my early experiences with church were always boring! Faith Assembly of God is anything but. We live very close by, a couple of blocks away literally. I had never thought of coming to this church because from the outside it doesn't look like a church I wanted to visit. I first took an interest when my co-worker suggested that I go. Over the course of 3 years that I've worked with her, she would kindly suggest that I would have a visit. She was never pushy about it but always kept it as a seed that would grow within me. Finally, during the VBS activity that was hosted a couple of years ago, I made the time to attend with my kids. My initial thoughts when I walked through the door were: WOW! The work that the church members had put into this activity was really amazing. It was a superhero theme with decorations, costumes, activities and learning of course. We all were able to get to know a lot of the church members and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We never felt at any point that we were new or awkward especially for our first family church experience. From that point on we tried to make more time into visiting early some Sunday mornings for at least praise and worship, as a start. Praise and worship here is very uplifting! The younger church members are so involved in everything that goes into the programs. They pretty much lead praise and worship with their beautiful voices. The words to the songs being sung are displayed on a projector screen, made it easy for us to learn the words and sing along. My children and I have felt so much at home with this church, at this past years "camp" my children begged to be a part of it for the weekend that it was held. Never in my life did I think MY children would beg to go to church! For 3 full days my kids attended the activities and even slept over one of those nights. Although there was lots of fun and games, I know they learned a lot from their time spent with the church. I am so grateful for the friends my children and I have made at Faith Assembly of God. I will definitely continue to try and make more time to attend church because of the great experiences we have here. The Parking is very limited so either find street parking or plan to be dropped off. Also, the street is often very crowded because the church is a Pokémon gym so tread with caution!

Both are friendly, down to earth people! The Sunday morning services are held downstairs in the "lobby" of the building and if you have young children there is a children's church upstairs. (called the Keiki Club). Sunday evenings and Wednesday evening services are held in the room upstairs. Oh! The last Sunday of the month they have a potluck fellowship with lunch on the grounds. It seems everyone brings a dish and after the morning preaching everyone heads up stairs to a dining/kitchen area and enjoy the meal. Rock Point doesn't have evening service on those days. (Last Sunday of the month) The music is good, they don't currently have a pianist though, so everything is a cappella. (I'll say the acoustics downstairs in the lobby are pretty sweet and a cappella sounds really good!) Being close to the base there are military that attend there, a few singles, and some families from various parts of the island. It's a small but friendly and welcoming.
