This was my first Mother's Day dining at Pearl Country Restaurant. Thank you Vuong, for blessing our family with a cancelled reservation. Five of us had an absolutely wonderful time. Crab, roast beef, lichon, oysters, omelet station, traditional breakfast items, poke, tako, were just a few of their fabulous menu items. The food was tasty and of high quality. I usually would give good ratings for the Mother's day buffet at this location, but today's service was just down right terrible. Reservationists that were seated outside the lanai was horrible! We were shown to our table, then was told where the coffee and the water table was...We had to get our own coffee and water and had to use paper and plastic cups while the inside tables used the cups and glassware! The staff was busy with inside while we are hunting for one of them for water refills...the juice container was and stayed empty! The buffet was actually left overs from the morning crowd. Really? We paid good money like the morning crowd. We could use paper and plastic cups at home...not when we are out taking our mothers out for a memorable time. Embarrassment for me and the Ohana to have to serve ourselves with the refreshments. read more

Last month (May 2018), I held a banquet here for my school's music program. They were very easy to work with in planning and preparing for the event, provided friendly and effective service during the event, excellent food, and very reasonable prices. While this review is specifically in response to that school event, I also want to comment on my experiences here overall. I have had a lot of events at the Pearl Country Club. As a local teacher and school program director, I have really appreciated their excellent communication and how accommodating they have been, especially in understanding the special needs of my various groups. They have been instrumental in providing fantastic opportunities for my school and my students. In every case, their service and food quality exceeded expectations. Whether for professional or personal events, I recommend this establishment wholeheartedly. read more

Last week we held our 45th annual golf tournament at PCC (the last six years at Pearl) and they continue to be awesome!!! From Patsy of Golf Operations to Vuong, Celsor and Brian of Banquet ... great course, venue, food with always helpful and informative staff. This year they even added a large retractable awning above the snack shop window that added much appreciated shade when obtaining drinks. Looking forward to our 46th annual tournament again at PCC!!! read more

I live near this country club and read all the reviews about their restaurant. I went in on a weekday and was kind of disappointed how small and outdated the restaurant looked like for a golf club. It looks more like a small cafe. Nevertheless the service is very friendly. Don't be in a rush though. I ordered the Japanese breakfast and it took forever to come out. Even though it took a while, the waitress was very friendly, and the food did taste great and the prices are reasonable. read more

Always came to this place for 1st birthday or graduation parties. Never realized they had a restaurant until I went on yelp. My friends and I wanted to have breakfast and this place was one of the few places open in this area. Loved their service and the food was pretty good. I like the down to earth servers. I asked for gravy on the side and they filled a container to take home for my hubby without an extra charge. My husband thought their corned beef hash was really good. For all four plates and two drinks it came out to about $36...very nice! Will probably return to try out their lunch menu. They also have alcoholic beverages. Not much food selections (for picky eaters like me), but quite a good amount. The Pulehu Steak is tasty :) But, the only thing is, the waiters don't check on you as much, so it takes a long time to get your check :/ But, there is a spectacular view of the golf course while you wait! Ended up here after checking other places for an Ohana, 40 hungry souls, Easter lunheon. The main course, desert, the location, the view, parking, the staffs and the place...say no more. We go there for breakfast/walking group and they have some nice breakfast specials. I like the big breakfast. My wife and I go there for dinner. Love their specials like pork chops and the shioyiki pork are awesome. That's one of the specials this week. Great service from the managers Mike and Guy and the girls Anne, Kats, Shady, Cindy and Annette. Had a work conference held here and ate breakfast with a bunch of co-workers. I ordered the Japanese breakfast which consisted of fried salmon, miso soup, and rice. The breakfast was filling. The waitress was helpful and friendly and the food was okay. We sat outside overlooking the golf course. read more

When my dad was in town we looked high and low for places to golf for him and Pearl Country Club was one of them. We waited in the restaurant as he finished golfing and I think you want to relax after your game with a nice glass of beer... the restaurant is a nice place to hang out. On a sunny day, nothing beats looking at the golf course with blue sky and a glass of beer in front of you.. if you are a golfer! read more

Easter Brunch did not end till 2pm. Lamb and/or Prime Rib for main meat was served. Omelette Station, Tempura and a Sundae Bar although they did run out of 2 out of the 3 flavors. No CRAB LEGS though and they do serve alcohol. Two types of poke served and Caesar salad station were also available for our party of 40. The atmosphere and views were great along with a 12pm easter egg hunt and meet/greet with the Easter Bunny! Also look out for their golf cart crew to take you to and from your parked vehicle/restaurant. read more

Our group finished playing golf at about 12:45 pm and I was in the first group. We placed our orders and mine was the last. The rest of our club finished and placed their orders. After 1 hour I still did not have my kalua sandwich, which was one of the specials. I told the wait staff I had to leave and paid for my order to go and went back to our tables. After 10 minutes my order still had not arrived and I again went to check with the wait staff. I was told that it would be ready momentarily. They finally brought out my lunch and offered to refund my money, and I told them to keep it. At future outings at Pearl CC I will not give the restaurant any of my business. T. Chun read more

We've tried PCC Mother's Day brunch for the 1st time yesterday. Great location & free parking. Staff was very tentative from when we approach the door. They offer free group photo booth. Table setup was spacious. No long wait on food line. Whole roast pig was carve on the line. I mentioned that I would love to have the cheek area of the pig and the Carver graciously serve me that piece. Unfortunately they had a shortage of raw oyster. Only 2 of 10 in our party got to enjoy the oysters before they ran out. The next day, spoke to PCC regarding our disappointment. Dean, Director of Foods, took our concern seriously & to heart. He did not make any excuse & acknowledge the problem. Dean quickly rectified the problem & reassure future improvement. He invites us to give PCC a 2nd try. We are confident improvement is in the horizon. With such great service & Aloha, you bet we will be back next year to celebrate Mother's Day. read more

My experience at Pearl Country Club was AWESOME!!! Couldn't have found a better place to hold our party at. Mandy Dona was the coordinator who helped my sister she is the greatest! She was so helpful in planning & accomadating my sister's needs. Price was right, food was yummy & room was nice & roomy for amount of people we had. Ordered the ox tail soup and it was very good. This was the first time I've had this here and will order it again on my next visit. The portion was large and I couldn't finish all the rice which I normally do at other restaurants. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was nicer and neater than your average golf restaurant. Very nice view of the golf course with inside and outside seating. Aiea Ballroom Dance Association-Hawaii was provided with excellent service, food and great venue (Pavilion) for dancing. Clean floor and nicely decorated for the upcoming holiday (Christmas). In addition, the Restaurant Staff were very cordial, courteous and always willing to assist us in various capacity. Mandy and Jez was very accomodating to our club's needs from the beginning until the end of the night. Overall experience was awesome and we'll be back again next year. read more

We recently celebrated my mother-in-law's 80th birthday with a surprise party at the Pearl Country Club. We were blown away by the wonderful treatment we received. From the very first planning stage to the day of the party we received first class service. The banquet staff were awesome, our every request was quickly and efficiently fulfilled. The food turned out way better than we expected,, everything was delicious and plentiful. We received only great comments from our guests. They may be getting more business because our guests were also impressed with the venue, staff and food. Easter Brunch at PCC Restaurant was worthy especially when accomodating a family of 40 persons. Early on, when my brother inquired about reserving for our big party, PCC staff were flexible with our needs. Casual atmosphere that I appreciate and that is conveniently located in Aiea with a beautiful view. Easy and plentiful parking. Staff/servers were attentive and friendly. Food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful of choices from salads to main entrees to desserts. Note that main entrees included a yummy prime rib carving, a rack of lamb carving, omelette stations, and shrimp/vegetable tempura. Also included was an Easter bunny, Easter Egg Hunt for the keiki, and raffle giveaways. And at the end when the bill needed to be separated by families, we were accomodated quite easily. At $35 per adult, we all felt that it was definitely of value. I hope they continue to keep the price per person down compared to other brunches as I know we would happily celebrate another holiday at PCC again. read more

Easter Brunch here was awesome parking was not a problem at all. The lay out of the buffet was great...didn't have to wait in line and there were 2 omelette stations. The food tasted great. Lots of food options...prime rib, lamb, tempura station, fish, hibachi chicken, breakfast items, poke, salad, etc and endless desserts I didn't have to wait for a dish to be refilled. The chefs were really on top of making sure you didn't have to wait for any of the food choices. An added plus were raffle door prizes, visits from the Easter bunny, and an Easter egg hunt for the keiki accompanied by lots of prizes and treats for the kids. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing but smiles from all of them. They were fully staffed making sure drinks were filled, clearing plates and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Didn't feel rushed at all. Staff were very efficient, organized, and in sync. We had a big party of 30. They accommodated our request for separate bills for different families.
