She has never tested me for a fungal issue diagnosed by my lung doctor a few years ago via a Blood test. He referred me to an infectious disease doctor who never treated me since the medication was very strong and could damage my kidney. Many months after a near death experience in 2023/2024, I was still feeling pain in my liver. Dr Passalaqua was recommended and when I told her my disease doctor said my discomfort and pain would subside, she yelled at me to say "Who told you that I shouldn't experience any pain, she said it should/ could take a year and a half to heal since my abscesses were so bad and I was days from dying. Now I am sick again and exhausted all tests available and when she came in the room she yelled that my fungal issues from a few years ago were resolved. I was Never retested, so her aggressive attitude was not warranted. She continued to be condescending and when I tried to explain my symptoms and tests to date she kept shutting me down. I aggressively through her out of my room and asked her not to return! Also when I called her answering service last evening asking to speak to the on call doctor, which I understand she is the only doctor in her office for, her office staff disguised her self as Dr Passalaqua. Her voice was the same as the office girl who said an August 6th was the soonest appointment. It was unacceptable because I have been battling symptoms since April 30. Time is of the essence and I am my only advocate. Needless to say I will never return or recommend Dr Passalaqua ever again. I called my former disease specialist and they order blood test as that is how it was diagnosed back in 2023. She wanted to do a sputum test. She was NOT listening to my requests or concerns!! A horrible experience despite her 30 years of experience told to me by the attending ER doctor.

JOSEPH CUTERI is the most unethical, unprofessional and unempathetic doctor I have ever dealt with. I recently started a new job and had to reschedule maybe 2 visits, I am also being followed by the Antenatal testing unit because I am high risk and 26 weeks pregnant with Type 1 Diabetes. I had an appointment with him and he started the visit by being extremely rude and harsh towards me. He did not address my concerns that were brought up to the nurse before he entered the room and by the end of the visit I was in tears because he dismissed the fact I had complex PTSD and anxiety and said what kind of PTSD as if it was no big deal. I told him I felt uncomfortable driving to Bridgeport hospital to have an ultrasound for a previous appointment. He then proceeded to tell me maybe I should switch hospitals to Griffin or St. Vincents. Griffin Hospital does not have the knowledge to treat high risk pregnancies that have Type 1 diabetes only Yale does. When you call the office they always sound like they do not want to be at work and do not want to help you at all. I have followed what the care team has advised me but making every appointment is sometimes impossible when you have 3 children and 1 that has a disability along with working full time. Please think about your decision to see this provider especially if you want to feel cared for during your pregnancy. I had to file a patient relations complaint along with a complaint to CT Public Health.

Dr. Vris told me the procedure would change my life...and it has!! He is a kind, approachable doctor, who truly likes to help people. He takes the time to visit with you and explain the procedure thoroughly. The procedure itself was very non-invasive, the recovery was just as he described it, and I can now breathe fully through my nose. I saw Kathryn Giunta, DNP, AGPCNP, and she was wonderful. She was thorough and did a great job explaining everything using analogies, videos, scans, and graphs, which made it much easier to understand what was going on. The visit itself was quick and organized. I was called in promptly and didn't feel like I was waiting around. My only downside was that the copay was double what I usually pay at my ENT in Tully, so I'll be doing some research before moving forward with the TMJ physical therapy referral they recommended. Which was evident in him seeing 5 different patients in the first 15 minutes I was in his office. If you are looking for someone to just write you a prescription without actually being checked out by a doctor, he's your man. If you are looking to be actually seen by a doctor go else where.
