A condition he has had since birth. This is our 1st time with this Dr. And wished we had him years ago. He was given a hearing test, Ears checked through a microscope and that's how this visit was everything for me felt like it was done using a microscope. I'd also like to mention Terry the nurse she was the exact same way with my son. Concerned and patient in talking with us. I know there's not a better Dr. Specialist office out there! HOWEVER 2 business days (the office is closed on weekends) before my already confirmed appointment. I received another message on KLARA regarding my insurance not being accepted, also stating that my appointment would be canceled. Keep in mind I am would have been a FIRST TIME PATIENT, I am unfamiliar with payment options since none were ever mentioned to me; I responded that same day, willing to pay out of pocket, to please keep my appointment and so forth. I received no response for the rest of that day (Thursday), no response Friday - Wednesday. 4 business days (again office is closed weekends) from when I had asked/offered to pay out of pocket for my appointment. Received an obnoxious, unprofessional, all CAPS message from PAM a biller through the office stating exactly as written, "WE CANNOT TAKE MONEY FROM YOU ITS NOT ALLOWED YOUR APPOINTMENT IS CANCELED". Which is very distasteful & rude. I am a very understanding person, and had ONLY asked a simple yes or no question regarding paying out of pocket for an appointment I was looking forward to. When I get there they cancelled the doctor appt without my say. The doctor shows up and has an attitude when I ask a question about the orthotics because i "didn't have an appt". I went to Dr. Aferzon after suffering with congestion and snoring for years. I read the reviews and they did not seem right to me and he was very close to my work. I had tried to go to another Ear nose and Throat doctor, but they kept me waiting for hours. I did not wait upon first appointment and have not waited more then 5 minutes with each follow up. The reviews on him are miss leading. Dr. Aferzon is a high energy factual doctor and he is very strait forward. yes he can seem like he is rushed, but that is not the case at all, he is just full of energy....... he took all the time I needed to feel comfortable with my sinus condition. The Doc is very through patients to make sure you understand exactly what is going on. I had a severely deviated septum that was blocking my right sinus and I have Sinus disease. The procedure to fix was done in his office. They had to fix my septum and then with a balloon open my sinus's up. While I am not the norm with local anesthesia (Novocain lasts 5 minutes on me) I did feel some discomfort during procedure. I did not tell Doc until after and he said he could have given me more of the numbing agent. so my fault. But the after effects have been amazing. For the first time in 30 years I can breath out of both sides of my nose at same time!!!!!! and I have not had congestion once I started to heal......it was all worth it and I picked the right doc. read more

After years of suffering countless sinus infections, I finally took the advice of my primary MD to go see an ENT. I researched doctors in my network and called Dr.Aferzons Office. Boy was I glad I did. They got me in almost immediately, I had an allergy test which confirmed all the things I was allergic to. On the following visit ,which again was very quick to make, the doctor discussed the possibility of having the Balloon Sinus Dilation procedure based on what he saw when looking inside my nasal passages. Absolutely no pressure was put on me, in fact, he told me to go home and research the procedure and get back to him if I was interested. After my research I contacted Dr. Aferzon and we made an appointment for a cat-scan (which, by the way, is conveniently located in the same building) that would give us a more definitive look at what was going on. The results confirmed the Dr.'s original diagnoses, and we made the appointment for the Balloon Sinus Dilation. The procedure was flawless, Dr. Aferzon and his assistant were both absolute professionals! You are awake thru-out the entire procedure which is done in-office. After about 3 weeks of recovery, I started noticing a major difference in my breathing. It's been 2 months now and it's like night and day from before the procedure and after. I had a terrible ear problem,called a different Dr.because of the two negative reviews,--they could not see me for ten days!!! Told them I was in pain,did not matter. I called Dr. Aferzon's office they fit me in the next day!! I was very pleased with this Dr.--do not understand the two negative reviews..I had relief within mins. of Dr. Aferzon treating me-- totally checked not only where I had a problem but checked all the other areas of a Dr. of endocrinologist... I would for SURE go back ,and highly recommend this Dr.to my family and friends..And I just have to say to anyone reading these reviews,to the person who commented on Dr. Aferzon's seeming rushed--he did not seem that way to me,most, likely beacause I too have a hurried way about me ..We all must remember that,yes the Dr. needs to be plesent,but he is there to treat --Dr's should be judged by their work--and I felt relief before this guy was even done..I do not write reviews,I felt I needed to tip the scales a bit.. After seeing another ENT in the area and being quite disappointed, I went in to see Dr. Aferzon for a sinus infection. The office is in a great location, in a medical center. First, there was plenty of parking, the office was very clean with a TV in the waiting room running medical info programs. The girls at the front desk very pleasant and friendly. I was in a good amount of pain and they gave an appointment right away as an emergency patient and I was in to see the Doctor about 15 minutes later. He was very knowledgable and to the point. After looking in my nose with a special tube, he confirmed that it was in fact a sinus infection and put me on a 10 day course of antibiotics. I am now 3 days into my meds and feel almost back to normal. Very happy I went. read more

I'm actually very glad I came in today. I'd been putting this off for a while and was living in a bit of a denial I guess. My allergies had been getting worse for the last few years but nothing I couldn't handle with antihistamines, until I couldn't. Dr. Aferzon was very nice and knowledgeable. This office has a large allergy practice and I even spoke to a few people coming in for shots. I had a thorough exam including having a scope go down my nose to check my throat. The doctor spent about 40 minutes with me and scheduled my for allergy testing for next week. He also told me I had pretty large polyps which would explain my constant stuffiness. I had a very pleasant experience and certainly recommend this doctor. read more

had sinuplasty, deviation correction as well as polyp removal in March 2015 by dr. Aferzon. prior to this procedure I had to sleep in my recliner about 50-100 days a year due to blocked nose and sinus headache.now for the last 7 months I feel significantly better, no more entire week(s) with cold and headache. now my cold and headaches are short lived, matter of hours. I recently came in to see Dr. Aferzon for a loss of hearing in my right ear. Turns out I had been pushing all the wax in by using q-tips while showering. He cleaned out my ear quickly and painlessly. It only cost me my co-pay of $25.00 Very happy I came in. read more

The warranty expiration date on my sales receipt was 7/1/26. I began to have problems with the hearing aides in early 2026 and brought them into the doctors office several times for adjustments. Unfortunately they had new audiologists that wasn't familiar with my situation. I saw Dr. Astrachan on June 15, 2026 and he agreed that we needed to send the aides back to the manufacturer for adjustment, but I needed to make an appointment with his new audiologist to get fitted with a loaner pair, she couldn't see until 7/16/26, I told Dr Astrachan that I was concerned about the warranty and he said not worry because you were here on June 15th. Well on July 16th the audiologist said they called the manufacturer and they wouldn't honor the warranty, So I'm out 5,700.00 and need a new pair of hearing aides !!!

I used these reviews to pick my doctor. I met with him and he is very knowledgeable and caring. He suspected me of having sleep apnea and recommended me to a specialist before I go through with the surgery. Turns out he was right! After that was taken care of I went back to discuss a surgery date and it turns out he had a cancellation right before the new year. It was only 3 or 4 days out so his team rushed to get the insurance to sign off on it and fast forward 3 1/2 weeks later I feel like a new person! I can breathe again. Don't do what I did and research about septoplasty, none of that is true with Dr. Astrachan. He had me in and out in no time. Best part is my insurance paid for the whole thing! If you cannot breathe properly do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Astrachan.

However I called back and they said that they were going to call a mediation to my pharmacy. I go the pharmacy and nothing was called so naturally I called them back. Some rude assistant picked up trying to rush me off the phone and she said they never called the prescription because the dr wanted to talk to me. I said I wished you called to let me know. She got so rude on the phone and saying she doesn't have time for that and that they are short staffed. I said please do be snippy with me, and as I was speaking to make an appointment she hung up. So I called back, I don't know who picked up (most likely the same person) I said why did I get hang up on, and she hung up again for the third time. Someone called me from the office and without asking me what happened stating that I am being rude to the staff. I laughed because at this point it was funny. I explained myself again, and made an appointment that I cancelled right away .this was just for a physical appointment , what if I was sick and they act like that again and again ....I was going to ask to be a concierge patient, but they don't need my money I guess. Do not recommend them at all very very, very rude people no social skills whatsoever shame or Dr, Saunders employing people like that..

5 stars isn't enough for Dr. Joshua Hasbani and his secretary Sue. Dr. Hasbani is a terrific doctor…read moreand absolutely brilliant. I came in struggling with migraines that ran my life, and since starting with him I've gotten my life back. He actually listens, explains everything clearly, and his treatment plan helped me tremendously. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. And Sue is the heart of that office. She's kind, organized, and somehow always manages to make you feel like you're the only patient they have. Getting appointments is easy, she's compassionate, and she keeps everything running smoothly. I owe Dr. Hasbani and Sue so much. Before I found Dr. Hasbani, migraines controlled my days. He's a terrific doctor -- brilliant, patient, and kind. He took me seriously and helped me tremendously. I finally feel like myself again. If you need a neurologist, don't even think twice. Dr. Hasbani and Sue are the dream team. I can't recommend them highly enough!

He was very thorough and found issues that my orthopedic doctor did not pick up. My problem was not in neurology. It was Orthopedic and he told me what my problem was, and how to correct it. It was a little problem getting in contact with the office; but when I did , I got an appointment in a couple of days . I would recommend him highly.
