They explicitly said that by paying the higher co-pay, that I was ensuring I would not come further out of pocket, and if anything would receive a refund. Then months later, i find out they were incorrect and my insurance was applying both co-pays, and that it was their mistake for not making me aware of this possibility. Now I owe them an additional $35 per visit, on top of the $55 I had already paid them. I'm glad I didn't go for as many visits as they were recommending (pushing in a salesy way) because then I would owe them so so much money as I did not find out about their misleading representations until much later. It's absolutely not worth $90 out of pocket (on top of the hundreds they bill my insurance) for a 15 minute visit where all that happens is the doctor massages my arm for 5 mins and then talks to me about dogs the other 10. I feel like I got swindled here and I will never go back.

Simply put, Dr. Prudich isn't for us. After hunting for the best wrist doctor in the area, I…read moreconvinced my husband to schedule an appointment to get the lump in his wrist examined. All the positive reviews across multiple platforms made me think this would be a good decision. We were able to be seen within a few days but at our visit, everything went downhill fast and we won't be returning. First off, the front desk ladies were wonderful. They're super kind and cordial and they're the only positive thing about this whole experience. Once in the room, the nurse took a look at my husband's wrist, confirmed my suspicion that it was a ganglion cyst, and said they could slap a bible on it. We laughed thinking she was kidding as she left the room. Then, the doctor, after a strange first encounter that I'll get into in a sec, came in and said the same thing. Um, no. I do not want you taking a "soft bible" and whacking my husband's wrist. You can get blood poisoning by popping a cyst like that and we aren't living in archaic (or ahem, biblical) times. After dismissing that option, he said he could cut it out or drain it and left that decision to us with no advice beyond the success rate. Typically, doctors give their impression on what's the best, medically necessary course of action. We didn't get that. He just seemed like he wanted to beat the blood of Jesus into his wrist and call it a day. The treatment plan was less than desirable but his first impression when he entered the room was worse. It's very off-putting when the doctor stands in the doorway, stares at me, stares at my husband, and then says, "y'know you can take those things [masks] off..." We're aware, but no thanks. There was no "hello" or "how are ya," and as my husband later put it on the car ride home, this doctor "didn't want anything to do with us" based on his demeanor. If you're looking for real medical advice and treatment, look elsewhere. I can't fathom how this guy has so many positive reviews if this is how we treats people and their medical issues.

The next day, I got multiple calls and text messages from their office saying that they need to collect my insurance information. I wasn't able to answer right away and they kept calling over and over and leaving different messages, including one message that said my appointment was being canceled because my drivers license is expired (it isn't). I called them again and they confirmed my insurance is valid. Went in for the appointment and the receptionist tries to get me to "Self pay" and says I don't have valid insurance. Had to provide the insurance a 3rd time before they finally acknowledged it. I got as far as seeing the medical assistant. I showed her my most recent MRI and a stack of medical records going back 2 years. She quickly told me that the doctor wasn't going to be able to help me and I left. Never saw the doctor. Also their office is full of red flags, like advertisements for laser hair removal, ketamine injections, Regenexx ads all over the place (which is not a proven treatment and is experimental at best), something called the O-shot for woman sexual improvement. I feel stupid for going here.

This company is based in Houston and rents medical facilities from existing orthopedic offices at…read morelocations around Texas to perform various complementary testing procedures. They have one number for the state. You listen to the menu options and then choose your location. For me, DFW is where I needed service. At the moment DFW only has one technician performing the EMG nerve test. This individual has to drive all over the metroplex to offer the procedure. I was unable to book one of the just three appointments for the facility in Plano, so I ended up driving to the facility in Prosper instead. It was definitely out of my way and cost me time and money (I took the tollway) to get there. The facility was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. No one was at the front desk when I entered and it took at least ten minutes before a staff member showed up to greet me. There was no option to ring a bell or sign a clipboard, so I stood waiting at the front desk the entire time. Thankfully I had completed all of the pre-task paperwork online and in advance of the appointment. The front desk person finally showed up and invited me to sit down. Shortly afterwards, the technician invited me to a really large room where my appointment took place. Despite my apprehension about the procedure and negative mood, the technician was very cordial, professional, and helped put me at ease. He explained what was going to happen, had me sign some paperwork, asked me if I preferred to lie down or sit upright for the test, and then had me communicate with the billing office through Houston to pay. Regarding payment, the company had sent me an email invoice earlier to pay, but I didn't because it was one lump sum. I had previously been told that the expensive procedure could be broken down into three, interest-free payments. One payment would be due before the procedure got started and the other two payments would be due in the following months. Upon discussing this on the phone, the billing department sent me a new invoice via email with the three payment option available. I was able to make the payment online without having to orally give anyone my credit card number. The EMG nerve test consists of several procedures. The first was electrical impulses sent through my nerve system in targeted areas. It reminded me of the old knee-jerk test that physicians used to do back in the day to check your reflexes. However this test is digital and internal. The electrical pulse sent through my system often generated a knee-jerk reaction from my fingers and arm. The pulse felt like someone snapping a rubber band against my skin. It wasn't pleasant, but it was tolerable, and the pulses only lasted a few seconds. The second part of the test involved sticking needles in me in various parts of my body. The needles were a little longer than acupuncture needles and on par with them when inserted into my muscles. I was then directed to contract or relax a specific muscle by pressing against and using gentle force against the hand or arm of the technician. There was no pain, but I did feel the needle inserted multiple times and in multiple spots. I was able to complete the EMG within the hour. The test results will take nearly five business days, but I'll be happy to know what the results are. My orthopedic will go over the results via a tele health call a few days after the test. The company is very efficient with their resources and seems to have a working business model. I do wish that there were more appointments available in the City of Richardson and possibly another technician on staff so that the one I saw wouldn't be so spread thin.

This review is based on my wife's experience, and we are both extremely upset with how this office…read morehandled her appointment. My wife had a 3:00 pm appointment today (4/24) and arrived on time. They were quick to take the copay, and at that point there were only two other people in the waiting area. Over the next 15 minutes, three more people walked in. She sat there until 3:45 pm and finally asked the front desk if there was going to be a longer delay because she needed to get back to our kids. Only then was she told they were "running behind." They called her back about five minutes later, and a nurse took her to an exam room. She then sat there waiting for another 40 minutes with no update. At that point, after nearly an hour and a half since her scheduled time and still no doctor in sight, she walked out. She went to the receptionist, asked for a refund of the copay, and told her she had to leave. The receptionist did not apologize, did not explain anything, and basically had nothing to say. My wife was very disappointed and frankly felt disrespected. She did everything right: made an appointment, showed up on time, paid promptly, and still they showed zero regard for her time or her responsibilities as a parent. A simple phone call or text ahead of time to warn that they were running an hour and a half behind would have allowed her to reschedule instead of wasting her afternoon. It is hard not to wonder: if she had shown up an hour and a half late, would they have still seen her, or would they have charged her a no‑show fee without hesitation? She lost two hours of her day driving back and forth and sitting in their office, and never even saw a doctor. This experience left us frustrated, disappointed, and very unlikely to return or recommend this practice to anyone.
