Dr Mohan explained the cultural differences as to why, but offered the most help of any of the three pain management doctors I saw. He treated me as an individual and made suggestions on ways to manage the changes to my pain regimen. I have confidence in his skills and appreciate the professionalism of his staff.

The next day, I got multiple calls and text messages from their office saying that they need to collect my insurance information. I wasn't able to answer right away and they kept calling over and over and leaving different messages, including one message that said my appointment was being canceled because my drivers license is expired (it isn't). I called them again and they confirmed my insurance is valid. Went in for the appointment and the receptionist tries to get me to "Self pay" and says I don't have valid insurance. Had to provide the insurance a 3rd time before they finally acknowledged it. I got as far as seeing the medical assistant. I showed her my most recent MRI and a stack of medical records going back 2 years. She quickly told me that the doctor wasn't going to be able to help me and I left. Never saw the doctor. Also their office is full of red flags, like advertisements for laser hair removal, ketamine injections, Regenexx ads all over the place (which is not a proven treatment and is experimental at best), something called the O-shot for woman sexual improvement. I feel stupid for going here.

I'm by no means a drug seeker, but have been on a drug that has worked with me for the past decade. Dr. Rai was very professional and honest about his inability to help me switch from my current pain managment provider and have him continue my medication. He did make sure that my co-pay was refunded before I left the office. While, he could not help me, I do have respect for him since he was straightforward and honest. I do wish they would be more upfront about their practice's inability to prescribe controlled pain medication so that others know ahead of time.

I came in due to chronic low back pain. I was referred here by my primary care physician. It was…read moredifficult to make an appointment because the office staff almost never answers their phones. It took days of repeated calls, messages, emails, before I was ever able to get through. However they were able to make an appointment within a few days. For the consultation, the doctor seemed very confident that he knew what the problem was and suggested doing an injection. Did not discuss any other possible treatments (i.e. medication), just insisted the next step was to come back for an injection. I went for the injection and it went fine. I had more pain for the next 7 days than I did before coming in, and after that I felt no pain relief at all. I came in for my scheduled follow-up appointment and was exactly on time. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes and then came out to remind them that I was waiting and that it was 30 minutes past my appointment time. The person there said something like "oh you're probably next". I told them I had another appointment after this and could not just wait around indefinitely. I waited another 10 minutes and still no doctor showed up. I decided that I could not stay any longer as they were well past the appointment time. I asked if we can reschedule for a less busy time. They said the next available appointment is 30 days out! I asked if they think it's right that the doctor did not show for my appointment and now I have to wait 30 days for another chance? The scheduler told me that even if I come in after 30 days, the doctor may still be not on-time that day and that I have to just sit there and wait. At this point I decided to just leave and go someplace else. Their treatment was not effective at all, their office staff is impossible to get a hold of since they don't answer the phone or return messages, and if they can't keep their appointments then it's really a deal-breaker for me. There are plenty of other doctors

I highly highly highly advise staying away from this practice. Dr. Mishra himself is amazing. Let…read moreme start with saying I've been under a pain management doctors care for over a decade. I've had the same doctor for 10 years. My doctor ended up moving to New York, so I had to find a new pain management doctor. I had met Dr. Mishra one time before after seeing him after a car accident. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and how personable he was that I decided to switch to his office. I understand seeing a new doctor for pain management that it is standard to do a urine drug screen. I have no issue with drug screens. I take a drug screen and pass no problem. Dr. Mishra prescribes my meds and I follow up the next month. Unbeknownst to me I am scheduled with his nurse practitioner. When she comes into the room to see me she is abrupt, short and overall just rude. She tells me I have to take another drug screen in order to get my meds for next month. Again, totally fine with me. she calls to tell me a few days later that I failed my drug screen. To say I was shocked was an understatement! I explained that wasn't possible and demanded a retest. She said that I would retest next month and they would give me a one time pass on this. I demanded not to see her anymore and to see Dr. Mishra. My next appointment was scheduled with Dr. Mishra. Again, I took a drug screen and passed. The next appointment was again scheduled with his nurse practitioner. I, again had no idea that I was scheduled with her until the appointment took place. When she came into the room, she again was rude, short and questioning me about failing my drug screen. I honestly felt I was being incriminated by the police. I told her I had no idea why I failed as I've never failed in over a decade. She told me my numbers were so high that there was no way that it was an accidental failure. I explained that my previous drug screen was clear so how did that happen? She could not explain why I failed profusely and then passed. She again demanded a drug screen for that days visit. Again, I complied, as I know there is no reason for me to fail. she called me a few days later to tell me I failed and they would be releasing me as a patient. I again was completely shocked! I asked her why every time I see her I seem to fail, but when I see Dr. Mishra I pass. She asked me what I was implying, to which I said, I honestly don't know... she again told me my numbers were so high. There was no way this was an accident. I told her I demanded a hair follicle test, a blood test, or any other way to determine that I truly failed. She said she could not accommodate that as their office does not do that. I immediately called my other Doctor Who ordered the drug screen hair follicle test. Shocker, I passed with flying colors! Since this nightmare of a situation, I have been seeing a new pain management doctor. For six months with my new doctor, I have not failed a drug screen! I have never been accused or treated the way I was from his Nurse practitioner. If you are going to question somebody of using and they demand a blood and hair follicle test to prove that they do not use and you do not accommodate that shame on you!! Clearly if I was using, I would not demand extra testing. I asked to speak to Dr. Mishra and she told me she could not allow that. She told me he was busy with patients. I asked her to have him call me back to which she said she would. Of course I never received a callback from Dr. Mishra. I was extremely disappointed, as I genuinely liked Dr. Mishra and recommended him to several friends of mine. It's unfortunate that he is so amazing and his Nurse practitioner is so awful. She will end up to be the demise of his office. Do not waste your time with this office, or if you do demand to make sure and not see his nurse practitioner.

On my very first visit Dr. Morchower he took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and what I needed. He also discussed what he would like to try and his plan was to lower the amount or strength of the pain medication that I was taking. I would love nothing more than to find enough relief from procedures that I would be able to be completely free from medications. Dr. Morchower listens to you and I feel valued and cared for. I feel like he is a partner in my care and that we share the same goals with respect to managing my pain. Unfortunately, I had another accident in December 2024. Since then all of my pain has increased and now I have frequent migraines. He has tried everything to get me relief. Although, these procedures haven't provided long term pain relief, it is always best to approach pain conservatively first. Dr. Morchower truly understands his field and he is a highly skilled specialist in pain management. I would recommend him to my family and that is the highest compliment I can give to a Physician. From reception to nursing staff, he has chosen compassionate individuals to assist him with his practice. I love that I can text concerns and requests, and that my needs are met in a timely manner. I am grateful that I found Omni Spine & Pain Management.
