Angel gave one of the most competitive quotes of the several I gathered and was available within the timeframe I needed, his crew came a week earlier than he originally said which was even better. They did a pretty good job trying to protect everything from the dust drywall creates and the end result looks like the walls and ceiling were never tore up in the first place. One thing that they could have done better is cleaning up afterwards, there was some drywall plaster that was on my glass door and a few paint spots that probably transferred from a wet spot on their clothes while they were walking around removing the drop cloth and floor protectors. I contacted Ray on a Sunday via Yelp and to my surprise, he replied within the hour and we made a plan to touch base on Monday. I told him what I needed, sent photos of the space, and he offered to have one of his team (David) come out to do the job that same week on Thursday! I couldn't believe the turn around. He offered a fair and very reasonable price for the entire job. Ray and David were prompt at the time they said they'd arrive. Ray pointed out yellowing in one of the bathroom ceilings and since I had the ceiling paint in the condo already, he offered to add this to the job without extra charge. David brought one other team member with him and they were exceptional. Very professional, super friendly, and clearly took significant pride in their work. David checked in with us periodically to make sure that everything was exactly to our specifications. He was even done an hour early! Ray came back at the end to make sure everything was good to go. I am so grateful for Ray and his team because now I can keep prepping for baby's arrival and not worry about these half finished bathrooms. Thomas Restoration came in about 20% cheaper than the other Oak Park premium painter (Ronbo). We tried to get a proposal from another "Oak Park" firm (which is actually just an Oak Park mail drop) and they never even came back with a proposal. Twelve years ago, we had the house painted and went cheap and regretted it. We definitely got our moneys worth with Thomas Restoration. Highly recommend.

Ken was responsive during the planning process and during the work which required several emails and phone calls. Both my walls and my cabinets look great. His crew also swapped all my cabinet hinges for soft-close for me. All of the labor and materials were appropriately priced. Lastly, one small wall in my hallway got missed during the second coat (it's a nearly white color so easy to miss), but Westwork sent someone out as soon as possible to finish that up, and blend it with the rest of the hall. I will work with Ken and Westwork again in the future.

Petr and his team completed a ~400 sq ft basement finishing project in our come within about 2.5-3 days. From the moment we called to the time the work was completed, it was about 1 week start (quote sent and reviewed) to finish (work completed and paid). They sanded and perfected trim and recently replaced drywall, and primed and painted walls, ceiling, and trim. They were able to use the specific paint brand, quality and color that we selected without a significant price increase. We felt they offered a great value and we appreciated that they offered a discount for cash. Petr came in the beginning and at the end to ensure we were satisfied with the work quality.
