Small shop for casual dining. Good service. Food took some time to come out but we didn't mind it. We found their dishes quite pricey but decent quality overall. Nui Xao Bo (Stir fried macaroni with beef) $14.95 was pretty good on portion & flavors. Banh Canh Hai San Dac Biet (Seafood Special Udon Soup) $16.95 was okay in flavoring. It came in a very large bowl with 2 small pork slices, 2 shrimps, 3 small squid slices, 1 fish patty, and some minced crabmeat. Still enough to fill your stomach up but not very impressive especially at that price. There was ONE straw mushroom and it was very bitter inside (could be due to it being previously frozen). It would have been safer to use fresh mushroom instead. Also they weren't really handicapped friendly/accessible. There were 2 handicapped parking spots in front of the shop but they were reserved for the owner's vehicles instead.

First time visiting this place and we must say it' was totally worth a visit. Restaurant was so clean. Servers were nice and attentive. Food came out quickly and tasted delicious. Overall, it was more than expected. Highly recommend!

Cute small place for chè, including some home made jelly that aren't typically found around Houston. We got the Avocado Coconut dessert and the Fresh Fruits with Khúc Bạch. I thought the Khuc Bach was just ok, not creamy enough, and the fruit juice was too sweet. Avocado dessert was more interesting, with a variety of toppings like fresh coconut, matcha boba, and fresh avocado. However, the Avocado Jelly could be a bit more creamy as well. They just opened, so I would come back to try their other desserts. It is a cute spot to sit down and chill with your friends.

Very good and nice place for snails and trendy dishes. Not all snails/seafood options available all the time and you gotta call in to ask what is available, but everything was nicely done and it's hard to find any other places that sell these.

Peachee Dao probably has the best nui xao bo ever. Flavors were so on point! My husband had bun thai and he really liked it too. We also ordered goi kho bo which was also really good. Service was attentive and nice. We came early in the morning so it wasn't really busy but I did see customers come in and out for take out.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

Their variety is impressive, spanning from dried land meats to sea creatures. While it's true that their product is expensive and the customer service could use some work, it is a fascinating store to explore the possibilities. Unlike most of the nearby stores, Kho Bo seems semi-modern, bright, and clean. The products are nicely laid out and the selection is clearly labeled. There is usually a woman behind the counter who will awkwardly stare as one peruses, but even after a few visits, it still persists. Ultimately, it's no big deal. (#1) Their kho bo dac biet (special beef jerky) is a nice treat of sugar, salt, crushed chilis, pepper, 5 spice, and is semi-addicting. At $15 a bag, it's hardly a deal since I could easily finish it in several bites if I wasn't paying attention. The dried fruits, such as xi muoi are as much as $25 a pound, so keep this in mind for gifts. The mini (whole) crab are my favorite snack of the bunch. It's around $20 a Ib and would be devoured quickly if I'm anywhere nearby. ___________ (#1) Previous theft trauma?

There's tubs and tubs of different flavors to choose from, and yes you get to try a small sample before committing. A lady will help you with the samples and if you like it, you get a half pound. They'll pack it for you, weight it, and seal it. It is slightly pricey, however you won't see this stuff in a grocery store. They are located inside the Hong Kong Mall and share a space with the pharmacy space on the other side. It's a real treat getting jerky from here and a few other unique snacks that you rarely see. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to be adventurous or you're just a jerky fan.
