On top of that, shops seem to be renovating or popping up almost every month, so it feels like a new experience each time we visit. They also have fresh bakeries and desserts to take home, which is always tempting. Prices are great with a membership card, and every trip feels like a Costco-style stock-up run. Just remember to keep your grocery receipt handy since carts are checked at the exit.

So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. Most of my trinkets for my annual Lunar New Year UYE's are found here: White Rabbit Milk Candies大白兔奶糖, Morinaga Milk Caramel 森永牛奶糖, Chinese New Year's shortcake candies 徐福記酥心糖 and Point 100 Gummi Candies. This is my go-to place for my medicinal soups and ready-made traditional Chinese medicines (TCM 中藥) - all made by reputable companies. They have high end stuff I couldn't touch: birds' nest 燕窩, ginseng 人蔘, ganoderma 靈芝and exotic herbal medicines. Whenever I need anything for my house, I come to Hong Kong Seafood City because all merchandise is imported directly from the sources. I am never disappointed with the friendly staff's recommendation. They helped me decide for each occasion. The prices are always competitive and products are always fresh. Don't be misled by the category, this "seafood market" sells dried, frozen or canned seafood. Don't expect fish tank here.

They didn't sell three ladies rice paper brand, no vegetarian hoisin sauce. The prices were okay. The aisle with the tofu was warm unknown if the soybean products were chilled enough for purchase. They did sell San San Tofu green soymilk, block tofu, and other products. The bakery section was non-existent. I managed to get bean sprout marinated snack that I'll try in my spring roll. I can't speak on the service as none of the staff members spoke.
