The instruction of the Combatives curriculum has been solid. It always leaves me wanting to learn and come back to continue my journey. Aaron, Mikey, Danny, Christina have all been great instructors. The other classmates, peers who are more advanced make it a welcome environment for newbies like myself and are all willing to teach and break down the moves that I may struggle with. After 4 months I can say the more often I go, the more often I want to return. Today was a welcome surprise as Christina called me up to the front at the end of class to give me my first stripe. Trainer: The trainer was very encouraging and helpful throughout the workout. I really liked how it's circuit training. You workout at different stations. I'm happy because I get bored easily and this workout was far from boring! Atmosphere: They have pretty good music so it keeps you motivated as well. And seeing everyone one else working out also helps! Workout: It's circuit training and you go to different stations to workout a different part of your body. I'm guessing that day was an all body workout. I can tell you that by the end of the workout I was exhausted but happy I did it!! The next day I was sore all over! They definitely worked me out, which is good because I felt that I got an amazing workout! My fat cells and muscles were crying! lol Next time I'm back in the neighborhood I will come back and get another killer workout! If you're looking for a place to get your heart pumping, come here! I went ahead and signed up for the rest of the summer to make sure I got a spot because it fills up so quickly. Then I asked if I could try the regular Zumba class to see if I would like it after Aqua Zumba ended, and I love it. So now I am doing both Aqua Zumba and regular Zumba. Teresa is an awesome instructor and puts her whole heart into teaching her classes. She is a great motivator, always cheerful and friendly which makes you forget your even working out. I highly recommend taking her classes because you will not be disappointed.
