This is a cozy, small studio in the Village of Apple Valley, with a genuinely welcoming community of wonderful people meet. This is NOT a crowded room full of sweaty people on yoga mats packed in like sardines. Space and peace are the standard here. The studio is exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated. I am not a spin girl, so I can't speak to that, but a lot of people love them here. I've taken yoga and Pilates classes here a few times a week for over two years now. I'm a fairly seasoned yogi and find Adriana's flow yoga and yoga-strength classes both creative and challenging, and her cuing is clear and easy to follow. She is a very highly trained instructor, and it shows. She plays great music and her classes are fun! I especially love her Saturday morning yoga-sculpt class that's the best of yoga and the benefits of strength training with hand weights. I'm always sore the next 2 days in all the best of ways. In the summer, there are often guided cold plunges after yoga class, and Adriana guides you through the whole process. It's incredibly empowering!! Wednesday night, Dusty leads a really lovely stretch and mobility class that's the perfect mid week reset for body and mind- that anyone can feel like a pro at on day one. Rosy's floor Pilates classes are so much fun! She's a little ray of sunshine with energy that makes even the worst day better. There's usually a little treat of a tasty smoothie that Ellen makes as a delicious reward at the end of class. Rosy is also trained in physical therapy, so her instruction and posing is exceptionally clear and helpful to ensure you are doing it properly for the best results. Ellen, the owner and one of the spin instructors is so incredibly warm and hospitable, and she makes everyone feel like old friends from the first visit. She's proud of her little studio and pours her heart into making it a place you look forward to coming to. Aside from the regular classes, there are workshops from time to time in all kinds of interesting things like cold plunging, sound baths, meditation, dance classes, yoga under the stars, and even artisan markets. I had heard nothing but bad about the cleanliness of 24 but when I walked through the door all I…read moresmelled was bleach! so I commented that clearly I had picked a good day, or maybe what I'd read was not a fair assessment. the woman who signed me up was really nice and helpful. she did tell me they were going to be closed just not tonight at 10:00pm and be closed for the next week or so, I thought this would be a closure like other24 hr retailers they usually cordon off areas leaving the finished or unfinished areas accessible while the areas being worked on are the only "closed areas" you know they couldn't have been working it all at once? guess it doesn't really matter now. i wasn't ready to work out yet but a shower was gonna feel fabulous! {record scratch) reach for the door. locked! this is my first experience at any gym.i find out later that tomorrow isn't going to be open either! so I paid for a first week and I don't even get to use it. a member who's been there as a customer "for years" was right that members should be compensated for that week! she should have told me to come back in a week. even though the membership cost 1 cent I would have liked the opportunity to know before hand I'm not getting a week shut down so I can decide if I wanted to be shorted on my first month of membership. on the other hand, that young woman was kind and nice she makes a great first impression at 24 I'm still believing this is going to be a good experience and prove the nay sayers wrong or at the very least spark others to come in and give 24 the same chance I am. pssst, please don't let me down 24! I'm counting on you!
