It has been so hot past few days! With temperatures over 100 who doesn't want some shaved ice to cool off? The service is phenomenal! They allow you to sample flavors of you want to try something out before committing yourself to it! They even allowed my daughter to try the coconut cream! Without my having to ask they noticed our dog and asked if he could have a pup cup! Such a wonderful touch that demonstrates their all star customer service! Prices are very affordable for the huge serving sizes they provide! I had a medium which was huge (though I managed to finish it in its entirety because it was too good to waste!). Next time I'll get a small. Check out my photos and do yourself a favor and order the coconut cream over your shaved ice and don't forget the scoop of ice cream! Completely enticed by the blown away reviews on Google. If it wasn't for the attitudes, interactions, and how sweet the ladies were working there... I wouldn't be rating this establishment 3 stars but instead 1 star. Ordered a child sized shaved ice of POG. I have been on a POG kick lately. The size of the cup... WOW. It makes me wonder what a small, let alone what a large would look like. The first few bites were absolutely delicious and then it became a chore. The flavors are absolutely nauseously artificial (they do not endorse natural flavors anyways... fyi haupia is the same thing as coconut). Perhaps it's the wrong brand. Perhaps poured waaaaayyy too much of the syrup. Orange was just horrible. Passion fruit and guava tasted nothing of its kind. Ice is mildly moderately fine where it does melt in your mouth but does develop into a large block of ice if you do not eat quickly enough or finish. Silly me... I did not realize this place was completely a drive thru and if you are coming directly off of the freeway just GO STRAIGHT on BUTTON (but of course look both ways!). No place to sit and eat. And no place to even park and eat...unless you drive a bit down the road and do not care if people are staring you down through their windows (hahaha). read more

Came to this drive through only shave ice place with two friends in a hot 103F day and intrigued by all the positive reviews. I was excited to try the Tiger's Blood flavor, but they were sold out. The drive through line moved very slowly and we waited for probably around 20 minutes before we could order. As soon as we ordered, our 3 shave ices were all ready quickly. It was a nice treat on a hot day, but I would only come back if the wait is shorter. There were only two cars ahead of us and the drive through area is quite small. Cheaper than a trip to Hawaii! We stopped for lunch in Manteca and I noticed the sign. I love shave ice and had to check it out. We found this lovely little gem one day while driving by and went back for a try. We were not disappointed. It's a great little drive through ice cream, shaved ice, and coffee shop! The flavors are amazing! The vibe is super laid back, and friendly. I'm not sure what's up, but the folks who are serving up the goods are just some really happy people, and it's such a pleasure to interact with them. Aside from the shaved ice, coffee drinks, and teas, they've got Ice cream sundaes, and my favorite, the Affogato, which is vanilla ice cream with an espresso shot poured over it. Yummy. Cute little drive through location. We just ate at the Black Dinner restaurant near by and walked up. They allowed us to order even though we walked up and we enjoyed our treat at their tables out the side of their location. I thought the prices were outrageous but turned out pretty decent since we ordered small n kid size. The portions for those sizes are very generous. Family was craving shaved ice and we finally got a chance to try this place. It wasn't horrible. I don't care for shaved ice but I wanted to try. We got cookie dough, pineapple-strawberry-orange, rainbow & vanilla-strawberry all had added ice cream. The sizes are huge! The child size is really a small and the small is more like a medium. Prices were good, we paid $24 for all. I think more syrup could've have been added and the ice cream that we added was ok, just a regular vanilla bean. This is nothing like a Hawaiian shaved ice. Their ice was not velvety soft instead it had a crunch as your typical crushed ice with added flavorings. It didn't have the one-two-punch explosion in my mouth and barely could taste the pineapple. We are so excited to have our Shave ice at home, and compare it to all the shave ice we frequently visit in Hawaii. There are a lot of selections to choose from and we love the ice cream on the bottom, the sweet cream on the top. These are normal add-ons for shave ice. There are sugar free options also. I love that they will make a "Pupacinno" for your dog, shave ice with whipped cream on top and milk bone biscuits added. My little guy loves it, and we don't let him have it all, but it is fun to bring him or bring it home for him. There are limited tables available in the back under the trees. They serve in drink cups, so it is easier to take in the car. Try it, we love it! read more

What the heck? Really? In Manteca? Shaved Ice? Offering drive-thru service only during the Pandemic, we were surprised to not see long lines. Of course it was 11:30 on a weekday morning so there weren't really that many people out and about. We were the third car in line when we arrived and it did take a few minutes for us to move up to the order window. My only complaint with that is that there are so many flavors offered, the menu board is way to small to be able to read until you're right in front of it. Of course, you could always get out of the car to take a look. Then again, if you have a car full of people.... well...you get my drift. When it was our turn to order, we had to wait a couple of minutes. The order taker came back and apologized for the delay. Apparently, they had been having problems with their credit card/debit system. She took our order, repeated it back and asked if we wanted our large split into two cups. No thank you. Too difficult to maneuver while I'm driving. She warned me that the servings were quite large. We ordered ice cream on the bottom with Pina Colada, Mango and Black Cherry Syrups. When the window opened again, it was a different server handing me our order. As I reached up to receive it, I had a folded up dollar bill in my hand as a gratuity. She looked at me in surprise and I told her to take it. "Really? That's so nice!" People! Remember to tip those who take good care of you. Yes, it's their job but it's also ours to show appreciation. Anyway, our Shaved Ice was somewhat reminiscent of Marge Simpsons hair, piled so high in the cup! The flavors were mild but distinctive.. You could tell what they were without being overwhelmed with sugar water. I would much prefer this to the ones that are drowning in syrup so sweet that they're inedible. We'll be sure to drop by the next time we're in Manteca! read more

We've been around this area many times, and we never noticed this place. Super delicious spot. I'd love to come back to try their coffee and other shave ice flavor. I like to visit this cute little stand with my daughter. Usually after we've gotten a bite to eat next door and Black Bear Diner. The cups are always stacked really high here and the service is very quick and friendly. If I can just remember to bring my punch card, I'd be in good shape. So the only place to refer to for business hours is on their Yelp page. We usually have a pretty uneventful transaction here. I have our ordered saved on my phone, so I can easily just tell them our order. The last two times we've gone, they have not read our order back to us and of course, sent our order out incorrect. Today, about 20 minutes ago, we were tue first ones to order. I read our usual saved order from my phone, the boy working the window didn't read our order back and just reached out for me to hand him my card and didn't tell me my total. Then, of course, brought our order and I could see it was missing the sweet cream we ordered ( I know I told him, in fact, I said it TWICE!) and he had the nerve to be annoyed when I told him both items were supposed to be topped with sweet cream. He seemed seriously put out by this. When he returned, because his reaction was so off putting, I asked for my receipt and he was annoyed by that too. I wanted to see what he charged us for since he seemed to be so confused. Very rude boy working the window. Next time I pull up, if he's working, we will just leave.
