I asked him to turn up the temperature as we liked our meats cooked well, so he turned the heat up. At one point he said he was going to swap out the grill-pan, and turned the heat down, while meats were still cooking. This was incredibly frustrating, I felt like food was taking forever to cook, and the longer I sat there staring at the meat, the more annoyed I got. It was all you can eat. We didn't finish our first order of 5 dishes we were so annoyed. It was not worth the money, it was an unejoyable experience. I've only been to a few self-cook Korean restaurants previously, and generally liked them. Ironically, later that same day we went to the Bonchon in Lowell, ordered takeout, and the food was night and day--hot, fresh, crispy, and exactly what Bonchon should taste like. So this clearly isn't a Bonchon problem--it's a Bonchon Salem problem. Please do better.
