The company downloads thousands on thousands of phone numbers from an online database and sends unsolicited calls to anybody they can early as 8 AM (even calling businesses and renters on holidays) in order to rope in clients by offering a special free estimate (which is standard practice). If you do choose to accept the free estimate, they will try to overcharge and upsell you on any sort of home remodeling projects you're considering due to the small size of the company. From a worker's point of view, the company will hide information on the jobs you confirm and will threaten your job security once a week if you do not get 2 potential jobs per day. This unfortunately leads to the harassment of many Houston citizens through desperate callbacks for months on end and even giving misleading information about the company's status with the Better Business Bureau. There are cockroaches and bugs living throughout their showroom and the owner, contractors, and most of upper management do not speak English as well. All in all, this company is very unorganized yet uncomfortably persistent when it comes to finding clients and will often overcharge clients who are in desperate need remodeling and do not have time or resources to find a second opinion. If you do come in contact with them or happen to receive an unsolicited call, I strongly suggest finding another contractor to save you from a headache/wasting your time. I would even make sure to block the number because they will not stop calling if you don't.

The tile was a special type of installation with the smallest space between large tiles with a natural marble design on the tile where the veining had to match up throughout. These experts started by carefully protecting all surfaces and items that could not be moved out of my home. The project was on the second level so lots of going up and down for removal of the old floor, tile cutting, baseboard cutting and much more. The project was very involved, as it was the entire living area with a kitchen and a bathroom, and there were unexpected issues with the existing construction that needed to be addressed to complete the new floor. They were amazing and knew exactly what to do with every aspect of the project, with extreme precision and skill. I was impressed with how talented everyone was. Highly professional, knowledgeable, skilled and meticulous. And with strong design recommendations for everything, if I wanted them, and I did want them - because they were great recommendations. They took the time at the very start to help me choose the most beautiful flooring possible, and kept the same level of creating a beautiful floor from start to finish. They even made selections for me during the project that were higher end that didn't add cost. Everything they did was outstanding. The level of skill of every type was incredible. The construction, carpentry, tile, plumbing, everything was performed at the highest level of excellence. And everyone was a dream to work with. They can do ANYTHING! Perfectly! Their company policy: "We do not provide a line by line amount. Brenda Baker A contract was never issued or signed and there was never a change order signed. We received a bid, but never received a contract. We had our shower and tub area remodeled due to a water leak that created mold. The cultured marble is beautiful. However, we experienced poor craftsmanship on multiple areas, numerous delays in scheduling, and price gauging on work they did not perform. We requested a meeting to discuss these issues thru email and was told that Bruce Baker/VP, Craig Baker/President, Thomas Baker/director of operations, and Brenda Baker/Manager will not meet with us! We were billed $9,205.00 for the following: * Remove tub skirt * Disconnect tub & remove * Remove half wall between tub & shower (Not done) * Replace water damaged wood in tub & shower (Homeowner to provide materials. This was added after we had to purchase the materials for the project to continue. No wood was damaged in the tub area.) * Rebuild wall between tub & shower flush with top of tub. (Wasn't rebuilt, just shortened.) (Homeowner to provide materials.) Added when their contractor did not have the required materials and we had to purchase or the project would be further delayed. * Install insulation that was water damaged (Homeowner to provide materials. Same scenario-we had to purchase or project would be further delayed.) * 42 x 72 cultured marble tub and skirt Do you believe this amount without any explanation of costs is called PRICE GAUGING?!!! We never asked for a cultured marble tub-Price-1750.00!!! We expected a tub comparable to the one that was removed. All of the "homeowner to provide materials" was added when the contractor arrived WITHOUT these needed materials and to get him to complete the work and not return a week later, we purchased the insulation and wood, yet was never credited with the purchase. Nothing was dated. BEWARE- DO NOT USE Craig Baker Marble or Premier Kitchen & Bath! You will regret it!
