Fridge arrived that we purchased new here at Lowe's and it was a terrible installation first time. After the first delivery crew left the fridge was unbalanced, doors were unleveled, the plastic is damaged on side of fridge and the water dispenser kept dripping. Called customer care for help and they told me to exchange. Another hour of my time gone. New crew calls me 2 days later for delivery of exchange. No text sequence for notice of delivery like first time. Calls me to tell me they are here. They come in and tell me first delivery crew did not install correctly. The water dispenser has air and is the reason for dripping water. If the first crew had done the job correctly, it would have not needed exchange. A waste of my time and the second crew was informative and helpful cleaning up the mess the first crew made. read more

I will never shop at Lowe's again after this experience. I attempted to return a completely unused item, and the only reason they refused to take it back was because the box had a slight tear. The cashier, head cashier, and store manager all gave me the same excuse: "The system won't allow it. The lady manager's response was rude and dismissive To make matters worse, I had to wait for 10 minutes just to speak to someone while they helped multiple customers who arrived after me. Absolutely terrible customer service. This store is terribly run and poorly managed. One of the worst stores when it comes to customer service. I was working in my yard today and made a few trips to Lowe's to buy mulch. Around 6:30 PM, I went for my final trip to purchase 12 bags. I asked the cashier if the loader is still there, and she assured me that help was available. When I asked the loader for help, he responded, "Why are you here? We're closed." I was shocked--it wasn't even closing time. I told him the cashier lady told me you guys are available and will be able to load the mulch. When I pointed that out, he shrugged and said, "Oh well, we're very busy." then he told me to go over there and wait. I waited for more then 15 minutes and nobody came to help. I was so frustrated that I chose not to go through with the purchase. I went to Home Depot instead. Their customer service was excellent--they were more than happy to load the mulch into my car. I won't be shopping at this Lowe's again, and I'd recommend others go to Home Depot instead. read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent purchase of the Toro GTS 150cc push lawnmower from Lowe's. After unboxing the mower and using it for only three laps around my lawn, the front wheel completely fell off. This is not only unacceptable for a brand-new product, but it also raises serious concerns about the build quality and safety standards of your equipment. When I returned the mower to Lowe's, I explained the situation and asked if I could exchange it for a higher model, as I no longer had confidence in the same one. I was told flat-out "no." To make matters worse, the front supervisor David claimed I was lucky they were even accepting the return, as they could have forced me to deal with Toro directly. This was both condescending and dismissive, especially after experiencing a failure with your product right out of the box. I purchased this mower expecting the reliability Toro is known for, but this experience has been frustrating from both a product and customer service standpoint. I bought a Govee 7.5FT CONE TREE LIGHT holiday lighting show display. This is an LED bulb outdoor tree shaped holiday light show decoration. The item has a 12 month warranty against defects provided by the manufacturer (Govee). A wire with LED lights broke when assembled and used for a short time. I took it back to the Lowe's in Katy on Spring Green Blvd close to Westpark Tollway in January. The customer service manager says its policy is no exchanges or refunds after the holidays are over (after Dec 31st). I like the tree so I wanted an exchange it, have Lowe's take my defective tree and send it back to Govee and have Govee ship another one to the store or me directly. I was told by the store customer service manager, "We cannot help you due to our policy of no exchanges or refunds on holiday lighting once Dec is over". I made sure she knew it was defective. I verified that Lowe's is an authorized retailer for Govee. I tried to contact Lowe's corporate customer service but was unsuccessful there as well. The online chat agent asked that I provide my phone number and told me someone would call me. However, this has not happened yet. I have started working with Govee directly. I have spent thousands of dollars at Lowe's in the past 6 months. I am done. Customer service in this situation was horrible. Store customer service manager told me "That's why Lowe's sells warranties.". When the manufacturer offers a 12 month warranty why should I need to purchase another warranty. read more

Very poor customer service policies. They will not correct an error on not scanning a gift card when sold, even though I never left the store and went directly to customer service. Neither will Happy Moments card company correct the problem. A field supervisor also told me policy of no returns even with receipt on purchases starting January. read more

Lowes used Trinity Exterior group to install a security storm door on my back door. I was advised 2 men 2 hours when setting appt. 1 man showed up, didn't have all supplies, left gone over an hour, installed and seem to have difficulty. 1 hour late for work after several hours it was done and working. It started making noise that night going in and out. Closer inspection showed closer not installed level, frame work not properly seated in, most screws not even in framing, not flush locking holes and over drilled with a hole that goes out the frame where he just slapped some caulk. Not a secure door and not a professional install. They refused to send anyone else back out here but the same guy. If he could have done it better he would have, so I asked to send him some help and they still said no I can get another contractor if he doesn't correct it. Geeze! It's metal he has already drilled the framing. Buyer beware! Pictures explain it all. Most screws are not in framing. Didn't install lock pin dint know where extra parts are. Buyer beware. Update, over Thanksgiving I corrected the closer and the connection springs at top that the installer reversed. Lowes has to order parts and guy suppose to come out and fix this sloppy install. Then came into the store to order the appliances and thank goodness Olu was working. Didn't connect at first he was the one who talked to on the phone. DO NOT BUY THE SERVICE PROTECTION WITH LOWES.... The people they use have 1 star reviews. My deep freezer lock was broken and I called for service, I explained to the guy that it locks but you can still pull it up and it opens it does not lock correctly. Have no idea what he did but claimed it was fixed so I locked it and then pulled it up and it broke! He said well you broke it and left!!! I was done and just went to amazon to get a lock with a code on it which is much better. (Before I could tell him dont do it) My husband did the insurance when we ordered the Samsung Washer and Dryer (that you can link to the internet). There was 3 different service providers and all had 1 star reviews, a total of 42 reviews combined all of them BAD and that is being nice people were saying if they could give no starts they would. I dont understand why Lowes continues to work with these people instead of removing them and replacing them with better service providers. We called the service protection customer service and they were really no help they understood and apologized and said they would relay our concerns. Decent store with limited inventory. If you're looking for normal hardware and lumber then your ok at this store. I have been shopping here now about a dozen times and think 4/5 is a good. They have 90% of what I been looking for, which is par with Home Depot and 5 times better than Walmart. The best hardware in the area is the Katy Hardware ( aka Ace Hardware). We his Lowe's is more modern and pretty clean. They have the tools you want but not a lot of choices of brands. The garden center will be fine for a few potted plants, but don't think they will solve a landscaping project, for that you need to look up Enchanted Gardens. I am so confused with this location. I'm finally writing a review. I placed an order for curbside pickup a month ago and it was cancelled in 3 days. I thought it was odd, but thought maybe they ran out of stock. I placed another order for the same items a week later...and this store changed the pickup location to another Lowe's an hour away without telling me. I didn't even know this was possible. My receipt showed this location (the one I selected), but the "you're items are available for pickup" e-mail showed a different location. I called this store and they told me that they didn't have an item so they went ahead and changed the pickup location. Why do this without confirming with the client? Whatever, I know it's been difficult with COVID so I just moved on. I just now received an email saying my most recent curbside order was cancelled. I placed the order on 11/14/19, which gives me till 11/21/19 to pick it up. Today is 11/19/20. It makes no sense. I even received a voicemail from this location yesterday saying that I have until the 21st to pick the order up. I was going to get it after work today, but as I'm wrapping up some work emails, I get him with a "your order has been cancelled" email on my phone. I even went on the website and it shows they have 10+ of each item in stock, so they basically decided 5 days was too long and cancelled my order. 10 minutes after I received the cancellation email, I called the store's phone number, but nobody picked up. WARNING: Lowes, Cinco Ranch, Store # 3306 uses TRINITY EXTERIOR GROUP LP to do door installations. I Recommend if you want it done right, find your own installer. On 06 Apr 2022, I had Lowes install an Storm Door, however I ended up with damage to my Hardie Siding and my home electrical wiring and Air Conditioner. Long story short, TRINITY EXTERIOR GROUP LP does the install for Lowes. The 1st installer they sent damaged my Hardie Siding, the 2nd installer damaged my electrical / AC system by shooting nails hap hazardly into the new Hardie Siding during installation. This has cost me more than $700 dollars to get my home back to the original condition before a Lowes Storm Door Installation. BOTTOM LINE: Lowes has done nothing to reimburse me except ask for receipts and pictures. I have supplied everything and the manager was supposed to get back with me. They have not gotten back with me. Being a Lowes customer and Veteran, I expect better. Do the right thing Lowes! Ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer, but made the mistake of not reviewing how notoriously bad the store is. washer and dryer got delivered, refrigerator got delayed twice and then cancelled without any notice , concern or care. Called customer service and they simply said "sorry we don't know why your delivery was deleted by store from the system, you have to go ask them". it's sad , as I have had nothing but excellent experience with the people working inside the store. Who ever decided on hiring XPO service for this company has no clue about the damage they are doing to Lowe's brand name and sales. Poor curbside service. Waiting for curbside pickup. A youngish female brings out my order of 20 gallons of paint. After scanning my barcode, she just stands there and waits for my senior 70 something dad to load the jugs of paint into his car. I attempted to help my dad and the jugs were quite heavy. I asked if she was supposed to do it as the attendant and she said no. A bogus answer. "Is he ok?" My response was an annoyed "no he's actually not ok. Isn't it your job to load the purchased items? Then she corrects and says she can help. This was the worst curbside service I've ever experienced. If it was too heavy for her they should've sent a man. Although I'm sure it's in her job title to help assist or load the items in vehicles. What if I was a shorter and less physically capable of picking up my order? I'd have to wait even longer for her to get someone more capable, efficient, or competent? The employees are very rude here. From the moment I walked in the door. I smiled at the two employees that were by the entrance at the costumer service counter and they simply looked at each other and laughed then turned away. Very unprofessional to not acknowledge a customer especially when they acknowledge you. When I tried to get my situation handled about a product I purchased a week ago the employee stated they could not help and called over their manager. The manager was named James and unfortunately he was especially rude about my situation. He seemed extremely preoccupied with other things going on. He seemed like he would rather be anywhere else than there helping me. Instead of solving the issue that I was dealing with about a product, he just wanted to argue stating that he could not do anything and that I needed to contact the manufacturer as it was their problem not theirs. Also, he stated that the only person that could help me was his other mangers and they would have to take care of that issue as he could not. When I said great let me speak to the mangers that can handle this situation and asked James to get in touch with the other managers he stated, " they are not available". Really! Super frustrating. *From day 1 this store has had an empty slot where the coping saw blades should be. *From day 1 they have had a decorative fluorescent light not in stock...the wrong light is in spot 4 Z 21 *When doing our vinyl gutters, they do not have all of the connectors, brackets, etc for one whole system. They have parts fot two different gutter systems and we had to piece mill the down spouts. *came today to do a pvc project. Needed to create a simple outdoor shower enclosure for our camping trip. They had no side outlet elbow slips for 1 1/2" pvc Off to home depot I go again to get the parts I need. I go here out of ease of location, not by availability of products, pricing and certainly not because of customer service. I've been here many times and I try to avoid asking for help as it is usually a fruitless experience. I went in the other day to ask for help about a piece I needed installing a new garbage disposal. The employee in that section seemed bothered I was asking him a question and offered no solution to my need. After he left, I wandered the aisle for another 5+ minutes by myself, looking at every single fitting, component, product, etc. I was able to find a "garbage disposal installation kit" that was going to help - of course no help to the employee (who never even mentioned they carried such a product). It seems Lowes just hires people to be warm bodies, pointing to people where things could be in the store, versus actually helping with a question, project, etc. Home Depot does a better job at hiring people that know things about home improvement. Worst Lowe's I have ever visited. I loaded 3 cabinets onto a cart, the 4th was on a higher level shelf out of reach. It was a Monday evening, empty store, and employees all over the store having a variety of personal conversations. I asked for help from an employee in the next department and he was supposed to send someone back from the cabinet department. I then continually hit the "need help" button and called the store number but could never get through for 45 minutes until someone finally showed up to help. Don't order carpet!!! The product installed was poorly made and not cheap. the carpet is a Shaw product. Installers were fine. But when it came to have the warranty activated because of the carpet falling apart in 3 months we had to jump through a tone of hoops and no return phone calls. Everyone wanted to blame the other person. Every time I called it seemed like people knew nothing, promised to call back, ya right. Manufacture ultimately took responsibility after 2 months of hell. they said the carpet took another 3 weeks to get installed after it was ordered. Sales guys at Conroe store clueless. Wrong carpet was ordered to replace existing damaged carpet. So taken time off work, moved all the furniture because the people at lows who re-ordered did not pay attention to the model number. Now here we go again. Geeezzzz so frustrating. Never again Please go to a smaller local flooring place and ask what happens when there are defects. read more

Strike 3 - I go to Cinco Ranch store in person. Ask for help locating Over N' Out ant killer. Got vague incorrect instructions. Finally found suitable items, and went to check out. ONE register open.
