I got to the front to check out and with all 4 associates in the store (that I could see) no one made eye contact, no one took a moment to say welcome in or we will be right with you, nothing. Terrible customer service. While waiting in line, I had to listen to blaring Tejano music. Not everyone likes that kind of music, so it is very rude and unprofessional to have it so loud. That belongs in a warehouse, not in the ears of your customers. I spent 17 minutes in line for 4 samples. I got what I needed, but I was completely turned off by the lack of care for customers. I will use the other store on Memorial and Kirkwood. They were helpful, and the store was quiet.

This morning took the cake though. I stood at the counter for 10-15 min while the woman at the register helped another customer (perfectly fine and predictable) with something small and detailed, but didn't greet me or smile or say anything along the lines of I'll be right with you. She basically ignored me and the one time she did look at me, it was fleeting and she looked annoyed. All I needed was a sample and I had an otherwise quick question. The other locations are always so kind and helpful. Idk what's wrong with this one. There's one nice guy who works here and everyone else acts miserable. I need to learn my lesson and just drive to that one on Fondren.

Service is pretty nice here and I guess every little area of Houston needs a paint store, and even though this is a big corporate one, it will get the job done and has friendly service. I went to the garden center for assistance. The staff, mostly very young workers, were all friendly, but very little knowledge. I stopped looking after the 3rd plant I named was not available. I felt like my trip was a waste since I left empty handed. Everything looked well organized and fairly clean, but I was hoping to get better knowledge from a pro.
