Unfortunately, this particular store doesn't carry the samples I wanted. I was looking for the large sample sheets with adhesive backing to put on the wall. I was told others stores carry them, so I will have to make another trip. My time was not wasted, though. I was able to get some good color ideas with the small swatches. Will definitely use this store again for quick paint needs.

We find this to be a pretty good mid-price paint store that is located to the west of town, and it does the job, and you can usually find whatever you need. Service is pretty nice here and I guess every little area of Houston needs a paint store, and even though this is a big corporate one, it will get the job done and has friendly service. We came here specifically because our friend was opening a second location of his bar (best Pub ever) in the neighbourhood and needed some supplies. We helped him grab the stuff and slather it on the walls, and they're doing very well now, so thanks to Sherwin-Williams for being here and being convenient.

I got to the front to check out and with all 4 associates in the store (that I could see) no one made eye contact, no one took a moment to say welcome in or we will be right with you, nothing. Terrible customer service. While waiting in line, I had to listen to blaring Tejano music. Not everyone likes that kind of music, so it is very rude and unprofessional to have it so loud. That belongs in a warehouse, not in the ears of your customers. I spent 17 minutes in line for 4 samples. I got what I needed, but I was completely turned off by the lack of care for customers. I will use the other store on Memorial and Kirkwood. They were helpful, and the store was quiet.

The owner and employees are helpful and polite. They have managed to match old paint colors for me. They recommended Benjamin Moore Aura Grand Entrance Gloss when I wanted to repaint my front door. It is specially designed for things like front doors. I don't have a storm door so the paint needed to be able to handle Houston's weather extremes - from rain to humidity to heat. Jared is who came over and helped us and explained a bit about how they care for their plants and what services they offer. And even took down my number in the case he hears about how to get that plant. Told us they hold events there, so I'll have to look into it! I did really like how they had a dedicated room for indoor plants, not alot of places have that. I ended up getting a peace lily for $10 and shes still looking great 2 weeks later. We were also given a jug of their moon juice which we've just started using for most of our plants, excited to see if it does really help out. I wasnt quite sure if theyd be OK with my dog being brought into the indoor plant area or the office area where you go to pay but they held the door open for her and gave her her space. So it set a really good impression. This place is definitely where I'd go if I had my own property and want working with a blank/empty space. Compared to other nurseries you'll find much bigger plants/trees here.
