I would give zero stars if that was possible. I ordered a dishwasher to be delivered, installed, and the old one hauled away. The delivery guy was not an installer and could not even haul away the old one until it was disconnected. So he left it in the box in the middle of the kitchen. I would have to communicate with their AI assistant to schedule the install. No. So, I cancelled the order and requested they pick it up. They scheduled the pick up address for the billing address, not the delivery address (it was delivered to a rental property.) It did finally get picked up, but only after multiple calls and entirely too much time. I will NEVER use them again. As they say, Lowe's blows. read more

If I can do NEGATIVE 5 starts I would Worst Experience Ever -- Avoid Lowe's for Appliances and delivery services! Ordered a GE washer + pedestal on July 4. Delivered July 27. Pedestal was missing parts -- Lowe's sent 4 different dispatchers, each time with new issues. After weeks of delays, the washer was finally installed, and leaked water immediately due to a damaged agitator. Now Lowe's says I'm outside the return window, and will only offer a refund -- no replacement. To repurchase, I'd have to pay full price because the sale is over. Support is a nightmare. I was hung up on by two supervisors (Terry & Alejandro), and put on hold for over 30 mins each time. Every rep reads from a script, and no one is empowered to help. I'm torn. The cinco ranch Lowe's pick up order I made was a horrible and exceptionally dumb experience. However, right along i10 and fry, I have had nothing but prompt experiences, not to mention effort from the staff on trying to help me with my needs. They were helpful with helping find, mix, give advice and search for paint and they were actually nice and looking out my my best interest- inquiring in the type of project I was doing and what my concerns/wants were. The selling point for me going to Lowe's MORE THAN HOME DEPOT (especially the on on fry and i10) was their effort in assisting me with my returns that were difficult bc I lost my receipt. Whatever you do, do not buy a refrigerator from this store! We tried to buy a Fridgidare on September 4 2017. We were then told that this is not in stock but it would deliver in 5 days. Two weeks later it was delivered but looked like it had a fight with a forklift. We called the store and they put a replacement on order. 5 weeks later this is delivered but it didn't fully work. The delivery truck already loaded the dented model and refused to replace the just dented fridge with the one that just didn't work. To make matters worse, they drove off with a freezer full of food. I drove to the store the next day and asked for help. They let me select a new fridge from their inventory but only laughed when I asked to be covered for the lost food. I've spent thousands here on miscellaneous items over the last 3 weeks, under protest. I would rather set my money on fire out on Katy Freeway than spend any more money here. The problem with this Lowe's, like every other Lowe's, is it's nearly impossible to find someone to help you find items that the website says is in stock or to get items from the storage up on the top shelves. The associates will even tell you that while the system says it's in stock it's anyone's guess as to whether that's factual. I'm a professional contractor. I have a Lowe's card. I don't think the staffing at the pro counter or the the pro checkout could be any worse at Lowe's in general. During the day, I'm on the job and the reason I've gone into that store is to get something to finish a job. I do not want to spend an hour standing around waiting 30 to 40 minutes for someone to help me or 30 minutes on line checking out. Time's a wasting people! Obviously if you're on the Lowe's clock wasting time is not a concern. I think my chief complaint with this store is how rude the employees are. They literally do not want to help you. The customer service rep, Ryan, is really unfit to be in any type of leadership role; I asked for help in one of the departments to get an item loaded, and Ryan could easily have grabbed the item and put it on my cart, since he and the item was right there, but instead he stopped another employee and told them to go to the break room and get someone to come out and get it. 40 minutes later I'm still waiting. Finally a male customer put it on the cart for me. A second encounter with Ryan at customer service over something else told me he's pretty much going to pass his work down to others while he does as little possible. I think the final straw was when I had to wait - again - to get mulch loaded. I even called back in to the garden centre and finally customer service to get some help. Nada. Zip. Zilch. After about 30 minutes, I started loading the bags myself. As I was loading one of the last bags, this old guy shows up and asks what I'm doing. Houston is hot. The humidity is ridiculous. I do not want to be slinging mulch when it's 100' in the shade any more than anyone else. I say I bought mulch and I've been waiting now 45 minutes for someone to come help me load these bags, but since I need to get back to the job as I have workers waiting on me I decided to start loading it ... and he asks to see my receipt. Doesn't say he's sorry to keep me waiting, sorry no one came, just wants to see my receipt and counts the number of bags I've loaded. I'm dressed nicely, and my company name is clearly prominent on my vehicles ... hardly unlikely I'd drive off with stolen mulch. BTW, he didn't mark the ticket that I'd picked up the mulch, so what was the point? Thanks for zero help again Lowe's. read more

This is the worst store I have ever dealt with. I recently purchased a electric range and after 1 week it bubbled under the glass top after 2 uses. It took 14 phone calls and 3 hours and 31 minutes of hold time to talk to the manager. The employs just pickup the phone and hang up.The stove was delivered and setup by Lowes. i was asked if I was going to bring it back. They delivered a defective stove and wanted me to bring it back. Lowe's is usually my go to place but this time they didn't have what I needed to the price I wanted to pay. After purchasing my grill I was shopping for a cover and Lowe's prices were out of my price range for this particular item. But all was not lost as I also need a gauge to register how much propane was left in the tank and I found one her and saved almost 30% from where I purchased my grill from. After returning home an installing the gauge it works as advertised. It prevents you from firing up your grill to go to work on some meat and finding out that you ran out of propane before you could finish. This was long overdue and at a great price! read more

Where do I even begin? We ordered a garage cabinet system with the work bench, scheduled to have it delivered to our home and only 4 of the 5 items came in. No biggie, we called, and called, and called, and called, and called, and called only to be told that it was never ordered and we needed to order it online. We do just that. It'll be here in a few weeks.. no biggie. Take a Saturday in this hot a$$ heat and build the entire system. Literally every single item was dented, scratched and damaged. Every item!! How's that even possible? Lastly, as I was putting the last cabinet together, the whole door handle that was riveted on fell off. Must have been made in china. So we call to get it replaced. We asked for delivery since we already paid the outrageous delivery fee and they stated someone would call us to schedule. Well, no one called but we just got a call saying our stuff will be delivered tomorrow.. we call the number they left us and the system hangs up on you half way through. Finally got through to a person after 5 try's and guess what... the system hangs up and no one calls back. Absolutely pathetic. Big businesses can't blame the customers when the service sucks. Horrible experience. I bought a refrigerator and when delivered it was broken, called and said they would send a replacement. Ordered a washer and dryer and the washer gets delivered but the dryer was set up for pick up in the store due to a "glitch" so I went to the store, they canceled the order and set again for delivery. The guys show up and get the dryer up the stairs after scraping my walls all up then tell me they can't bring the refrigerator up because it's a 4 man job. Well the first time it was 2 guys so why different now? So I call and say I want a different refrigerator because the one I got was smaller than I thought. Pay for a new one, but when the guys show up it was with the first one I got not the replacement. But they had 5 guys so I said fine. They also scraped my wall more and guess what still only 2 moved it up the stairs while the others stood and watched. Still waiting on a refund for the refrigerator I never received and someone to fix my walls. Never again! read more

I was in line and the cashier randomly disappeared without telling anyone that he wouldn't be back and we would need to go to a different line. Complete waste of my time. Also, there was an extremely long line of people and there were employees standing around doing nothing. Ordered online , I've been calling and calling and NO ONE answers the phone!!! It's so frustrating, online order pickup shouldn't take this long. I ordered online to avoid going into the store but how are they going to have order pickup " we'll bring it to your car if they don't ANSWER THE PHONE?!?!?!? Update after calling every dept (called their phone line 25 times just trying to hear a person on the other end) the appliance dept DID pick up. Apparently (although this should be voiced on their website) they're swamped with people and online orders. They are fulfilling the orders at night after the store closes. So it should read "NEXT DAY" pickup, also I suggest NOT using this locations drive up & call the store for an associate to bring your order out because NO ONE answers the customer service desk phone. At one point in my attempts to call the phone rang three times and I was kicked to the main menu, again (calling the customer service desk) so, someone just transferred the call to the main menu to avoid answering my simple question that would have taken a whole minute. Proper etiquette regardless of how busy you are is answering the phone within TWO RINGS, if you're busy ask the customer if you may place them on a brief hold and come back when you can answer. It's a lot more respectful and you'll have a LOT less ANGRY people when you do answer the phone after calling multiple times with no one answering. read more

Another person was also having an issue at check-out. Two teenage Lowe's employees were standing right there talking and laughing and generally ignoring customers. I left everything and walked out. Lowe's does not provide service after the sale. They will sell you a defective product and after 30 days do not provide any service other than give you the manufacturer's telephone number. Beware! We bought a $900 Newair wine cooler and within 5 months it breaks. Beware! If Lowe's was truly interested in my business and honored their claims of service after the sale, they would handle the repairs through the manufacturer directly and/or replace and deal with the manufacturer, instead their model is to sell defective products and then hide after 30 days. I ordered some lumber online. Store Hours claim they are open till 10pm at night. I was there at 7:30pm. I go to the "Pick-up" station and press the call button. After a minute someone from customer returns comes over and shuts off the call button and says no one's here. There are about 4 people waiting in line to return stuff and the line hadn't moved at all during this time. If you think I'm going to wait behind several returns to pick up my stuff, think again. Store needs to rethink your priorities. You're not going to make much money making Purchase for Pickup people wait behind Returns lol. I drove to the other side of the freeway to Home Depot. By now its after 8pm at night. They were not only able to help me get what boards I needed, they even cut one for me. I called Lowe's the following morning and cancelled the online orders. read more
