I needed my fried chicken fix, so I came ready to order! The cashier didn't seem happy and didn't acknowledge me for the first few minutes - maybe she's busy. I waited a little longer until someone else in the back of the kitchen came up to take my order. Service seemed to be a hit or miss. The Honey Butter Sandwich had a tasty bun, but the chicken itself felt tough and dry - A bit underwhelming for its price. The bonus here was their cool communal sink to wash your hands!

PDQ- People Dedicated to Quality Very true. Probably the best sandwich I've had from a fast food chain The Buffalo bleu is my go to. With a side of PDQ sauce and honey mustard. Their nuggets are really good too and their cranapple oat cookies are amazing. (Cranberry apple oat cookies). Lots of drinking options from the drinking fountain and they offer different flavors for shakes. The service is good, and the food comes very quickly. They showcase children drawings and colorings all over the walls inside which I think is cute. They have a section where kids can grab crayons and color in their own PDQ mascot. And it's the only fast food chain that has a hand washing station outside for people to wash their hands without having to go to the bathroom. It is very cold though, so grab a jacket with you.

Our next summer adventure with kids take us BPQ located in Flagler Street with a category of 4.4 and more than 1,129 reviews Today we visited BPQ for the first time, the place is larger than other places where we have eaten, the decoration is striking and there is a screen where visitors are entertained while they eat. The attention to the costumer was the best. The staff who did not take the order were very friendly and pleasant with all the members of the group, all the children were excited about the food they were about to eat. The quality is incredible, the chicken is delicious, soft and fried at the perfect temperature so when you try the first bite you become addicted, but what blew my palate was the creamy and delicious chocolate shake (Gherardelli), 100% recommended.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here today! We were looking for a snack next to campus in between running errands and we both voted for PDQ! We've eaten here several times throughout the semester but it was particularly great today! The staff is always lovely, very kind and helpful. The store was decorated with colored drawings of chicks that guests made and we had an excellent time looking at all the different art while we ate! We both got spicy chicken sandwiches and an order of large fries. The quality of the food is great it came out hot and fresh and it was absolutely delicious. There were hardly any people eating outside and I feel like this place is severely underrated!!! Everyone flocks to Chick-fil-A when there's an even better place just around the corner! Highly recommend PDQ!

Driving by the area of Flagler and 101 we saw this restaurant m, not sure what type of food was being served here we went through the drive thru. It was a chicken place similar to the Chick fillet. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich(just the sandwich) for my son. I ordered the crunchy bowl for myself, white rice, black beans, chili-lime corn, pieces of chicken tenders, frito lay chips and cheese sauce. Something was a little spicy , I don't know what ingredient might have been the culprit. My husband ordered the Mediterranean salad, lettuce, olives. Hummus, chicken. I added the zucchini fries which were good but extremely greasy. My poor cholesterol probably went up a few numbers. Yikes! Overall the food was okay. Kind of pricey though. 1 chicken sandwich, 1 crunchy bowl, 1 Mediterranean salad, 1 order of fries, 1 order of zucchini fries and one coke = $39.00. I am not able to review the service as this order was through the drive thru. It's a new experience and another dining option for us foodies.

Let me just start by saying the food here will be the best in the "fast food" category you will ever find in South Florida... Let alone in Miami. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The food is made FRESH and you can definitely taste to confirm this. The customer service is far above incredible, with everyone greeting you and having comfortable, casual conversation with one another (customers and employees alike). Even the manager confirms your satisfaction at the table you sit at! I definitely want to come back here often. read more

I have to say that I never thought another chicken place could equal chick-fil-a. PDQ has become my go to spot for chicken tenders or a crispy turkey sandwich. I'm getting addicted to the sweet sriracha sauce and their fries! Plus they also have good sweet tea and TVs that you can watch sports on. I haven't tried any of their shakes but they look good when they are making them :o) read more

This place is awesome. I loved the food. Not too many items on the menu, but the food that is on the menu is marvelous. I went for my friends surprise birthday and the service was impeccable. I really hope I go again. The restroom is small and clean, and they have really nice scented soap. They also have a big coke machine that is touch screen with a huge variety of flavors to choose from. I will defiantly be eating here again. read more

5 stars may seem a bit high considering it's a fast food style restaurant but it deserves it. Super friendly and informative staff, really good and fresh food at very reasonable prices, and a nice ambiance. We had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken salad, and the chocolate peanut butter shake... and we highly recommend trying all of them. More places like this will most probably lead to the demise of the already declining "old school" fast food joints like McDonalds, BK and Wendy's. This is a nice addition to a neighborhood in Miami that needed more health conscious establishments. We will definitely be back. read more

This place is so AMAZING. If you are a creature of habit, Sweetwater is filled with these, please give this place a chance! PDQ is clean and so welcoming! You can play cornhole outside and then walk on in and wash your hands in a huge communal sink. Place your order of goodness and wait until they sing your name. I had the crispy turkey and lord knows it was so juicy and the breading was so flavorful. The fries are better than any fast food establishment. They have epic tenders with so many sauces to choose from, my favorites were the garlic and sweat heat. Try this place out and you will definitely enjoy your food baby and coma to come. read more

Place was pretty good. The hubs and I were in the area and of course I was hungry as usual so we pulled out our yelp app. We ran into this place and decided to try it. The menu looked good and so did the reviews. It's located in a new shopping center which used to be a ghetto trailer park. This area has been completely updated and modernized which is great. The menu is a little limited they mainly have chicken tenders, sandwiches and soups. I ordered the Cali Club and so did my hubby. I ordered fries and he ordered the zucchini fries. I've never tasted zucchini fries and they were really good only complaint is that they were too greasy. The chicken sandwich was pretty delicious. I also ordered their lemonade and it was tart and yum. Pretty fresh ingredients, good and fast service. Was happy to stop by. read more

Stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp's local recommendations. The spot is reminiscent of places I've seen in northern parts of FL, definitely didn't expect it to be on Flagler in the midst of Sweetwater. Everything was extremely clean and I appreciated the mutilple TVs showing the NFL playoffs. Tried the Buffalo tender, turkey breast, and crispy chicken sandwiches. Got all of them w avocado + cheese + bacon and yes it was a great decision. All 3 were awesome except didn't really taste the sirachha sauce that was listed on the turkey burger. The food is fresh and the staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely not your typical fast food establishment. read more

Ok, so I've been here quite a few times and it never disapoints. After recently attending a yelp event, I now understand that they stay true to fresh and good quality food. We were able to tour the back area and witness how clean the place is kept and how fresh & top notch all the ingredients are. Everything I've had has been tasty. I especially love the handheld thanksgiving sandwich, which is basically grilled turkey, with cranberry and lettuce on a bun (delicious). I really love their apple slices with toffee dip (insanely good). I'm not much of a milkshake person but the ones I've tried (vanilla, strawberry, & applepie) have been tasty. I will continue to eat at this establishment and recommend you give a try too! :) read more

Heard about this place through a friend & decided to check it out. Found out it just opened a week ago! The food is better quality than other fast food restaurants & for about the same price. Their menu is simple.... They have chicken tenders, Chicken and turkey sandwiches which you can get either grilled or crispy & they also have salads and shakes... They also have hand cut fries. The food was really good!! Their ingredients tasted fresh, & the food was hot and made to order. The service was great! Very attentive & made the experience personal. Another plus is that they have the coca cola freestyle fountain drinks. read more

I love this new restaurant. I give them five stars for their incredible service. I help direct a youth group in the local area and they always accommodate our group of about 50-60 people AFTER HOURS. They stay open late for us- past midnight. Amazing service. Definitely recommend them. Not to mention their food(mostly chicken) is pretty good too! read more

I was about to give PDQ three stars because of the food. It's good, but there's better options. However, I give it four stars because of the customer service and the environment. They are so kind and keep it very clean. Would recommend it when you have a large group and want a quick bite. read more

For fast food, this is great! The chicken is meaty and tastes amazing. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. I have come to this location many times and will continue to do so. If you like spicy I recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich. The salads are great. The fries are AMAZING! Definitely give this place a try on a cheat day, it is worth it! read more

I've been to PDQ about 10 times now since it opened and the food is delicious and fresh. They offer a variety of sauces to go along with their always fresh tenders. They would get 5 stars except that I've gone by the drive through and twice now have been missing items. The first time I didn't receive a cookie and now the second time instead of the 5 piece chicken order I paid for I recieve a 4 piece. The girl seemed apologetic but my fries and tenders were cold by the time I went back and informed them of their error and received the tender I was missing.The food is delicious but make sure to double check you order before driving away ! read more

The service was great. The manager was funny as he called the names of the customers whos food was ready. The food was great and the sauces made it worthwhile. For a "fast food" place this place is fresh food never frozen and even though some items are fried they are still much better than any other fast food chain by far. read more

So fresh and doesn't taste like fast food. Food always comes out hot and you just know that it was made to order. Shakes are great. salads are huge. Can't even get halfway through it. Only complaint is the drive thru sometimes it can run a little slow and they miss the sauces when packing your order. Chipotle bbq and cilantro are my fav. read more

First things first, the place is new. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really like the fact that they call out your name on a microphone when your food is ready (no one else does that). Also, it seems to be THE place for college students to go to so you will surely see some energy. It's a great place to go to and eat with friends. Will definitely recommend. read more

I love love love this spot. Food is so fresh & fast & delicious. I went here last night and ate inside. The server at the register came up to me and offered an extra serving of their amazing chocolate shake that they couldn't pour into someone else's shake. So sweet! And it was tasty! Its an overpriced chik-fil-a. The fries were soggy im guessing because they arent fried. The chicken was alright i personally find chik-fil-a better. The kids meal doesnt even bring a toy. The milkshake was about the only thing i found pretty good. I wouldnt buy there again.. read more

I went to PDQ for a special Guardians Of The Galaxy Event and I have to admit i was in shock and amazed. The characters who portrayed the actors was amazing. The kids were all enjoying themselves. The MC Jorge was awesome on the mic and everyone was super cool. The food i have to admit was freaking amazing. The best Tenders I have ever had. So nice and soft and juicy. The pricing is on point and very good. I will be sure to come here again. read more

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.

But if you are a native you are likely to recommend an only in miami experience like el Rey de las Fritas. Fritas are often described as a Cuban hamburger but that's like calling Mobi dick a fish. These are a typically mixture of ground beef and pork but with plenty of cumin, paprika and other spices. Usually fried with some onions and Always some sort of sauce is used in cooking. It should be served in Cuban bread roll but the best thing about it is the thin crispy fries that top it. Some places in town my used canned Fries but not here. I a cannot overate the importance of these fries or the fact these fritas are cooked to order and served piping hot . As to ambiance you get hole in the wall experience with counter seating only. The one on eighth street is bigger but both just have counters. I have had fritas at Cuban restaurants and none come close. The menus includes all sorts of Cuban sandwiches and steaks etc. all are some of the best in town but if you come here you have to have a frita. You also have to try one of the thick milkshakes or tropical juices. The mamey shake is as tasty as it is beautiful with its deep red tones. I often get the mango juice or the melon juice both bursting with flavors. The meal must (I'll say again must ) end with a cafecito or a cortadito. While Rey de las Fritas is not the first it has weathered like fine wine and it's now the best. You can also try mago de las fritas but their fritas are not as good to my taste. I don't often or ever see tourists here and that's a shame.

the design of this place is really cool. The ceiling heights are not seen in other fast service restaurants. it gives you a feeling of a much larger space than its actual footage.
