I am usually in no rush and drop off the vehicle then walk home. They don't do more than they need to - by that they don't intentionally try to generate more work. They have told me when I have gone in for work that (a) wasn't a safety issue, (b) part was OK, just needed to be tweaked, or (c) maybe get it checked the next time. Somehow, it's MY fault that my family needs our car and offended you by picking it up? And since you've decided to make this personal, how about the three weeks it took to just get a part for my vehicle and then the repair being pushed off for another week? (This is part that didn't even fix the original issue.) How many times have I come by and had to go home again after being promised the work on that day. After 2 tow drivers and the Sam's Club mechanic couldn't figure it out, I looked up a repair shop and God gave me Christian Brothers, under 2 miles away from where we were and very kind and understanding over the phone. Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend and we would have to leave it. This was no problem but I was going to have to come back to get it if it was worth it.
