Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend and we would have to leave it. This was no problem but I was going to have to come back to get it if it was worth it. He advised to bring it up and he would look at it. When I arrived it took less than 30 minutes to get it in and on the rack. He told me it was not a muffler but the resonator, I'm not a mechanic so I was guessing. He gave me the price and said it would take about an hour and a half. I also mentioned that the Stabilitrack light has been on so he hooked it up on the machine to get the codes. Ends up that it needs reprogrammed which is a dealer thing. In a word, you can trust him. On a road trip from Texas to Wisconsin, my 2002 Suburban broke down on the interstate not far from Don's shop. County Brake towed my vehicle and resolved multiple issues stemming from a wire short (probably the result of a previous repair not quite done correctly). Don put his top mechanic on it and methodically worked through each system impacted by the short. The impacts were extensive, time consuming, and costly, but each system was tested, each solution verified with me before repair, and only performed because it was necessary to get me back on the road. I was really in a position where Don could have taken advantage of my vulnerability of being stranded, but what I experienced instead was quality work, care for my well being, flexibility, superb communication, and extra diligence to make my vehicle reliable. He even gave me a significant discount to help offset the circumstances I was in. I am grateful to have found this shop and it hit all the high notes of what I look for in a repair shop. I learned through experience County Brake is a shop run by people you can trust. They got me back on the road and safely to my destination.

I brought in my Volvo for a brake pad change and they caught a screw in my tire which they plugged for free. Unlike many shops, they treat you like they actually want you as a customer instead of acting like you are a hassle.
