I needed an emissions test to renew my tags on July 24. My dealership didn't have an opening for two weeks, and I was already way overdo because of illness which led to surgery. I went across the street from the DMV at Olive and Fee Fee in Creve Coeur to check with Telle after checking with yet another place that couldn't do it unless I left my car for the day (which I couldn't do) . Telle was amazing. Though they were very busy, they immediately did the test, and I was able to return to the DMV across the street to get my stickers. The Telle staff was awesome! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dobbs was booked up for emissions tests so my husband suggested this place instead and they were able to get me in same-day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great! Got home after dropping it off and the man who checked me in (Andrew?) was all jokey and laughing and said that he was an idiot and that he drove my car INTO the lift forks instead of into them which slashed one of my tires. Because my car is AWD, that meant that I had to replace ALL FOUR tires -- a $700 unexpected expense -- because I came to get an emissions test. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He continued being weirdly jokey and said over and over "well you needed new tires anyway."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even if that were true (2 were still fine), I didn't need them TODAY, at this place who had just 100% caused this damage and refused to pay to repair it. I was hoping that they would own up to this unfortunate situation but simply would not. They waved the charge of labor to install the tires (big whoop) but still had the nerve to charge me for an emissions test. Working with an attorney now unless they'd like to do the honorable thing and send me a check for the amount of the tires I would not have had to purchase had their tech not driven my vehicle into the lift. read more

Went here for an oil change a couple weeks ago. Lots of hidden fees . I came here tho because it's locally owned shop. My son's SUV is older and was leaking oil for a while. It started leaking greater quantities and I was worried as we are new to this area. Very good reviews, so I called. Very polite and willing to take a look at a time that fit our schedule. I got a call with the diagnosis and information about the problem along with a very reasonable cost to repair. Thank you for doing the diagnostic and repair work so quickly. It's been a week and I've not seen any leaks (and I got this vehicle end of January and it was leaking then). Another great experience at Olive Fee Fee Auto Care. Last spring the Honda dealer told me I would need to get a rack and pinion job. The only reason it was there was to replace some weather stripping on windshield that a dealer would be able to get. While there I went ahead and had them do inspection and oil change etc. He said I could drive it for a while but should have it done before winter. I drove it through winter and took it in today. I figured after all that and the potholes etc my alignment probably would need done while its in get rotation of tires, oil change etc Turns out I dont need R and P job but just sway bars. I asked for alignment and didn't need it. I got sway bars, rotation, and oil change for about three hundred. They could have taken me for fifteen or seventeen hundred in repairs but were honest. I guarantee Dobbs wouldn't do that. Dobbs ripped of my elderly mother and myself many times before. I go nowhere but Olive Fee Fee Auto Care! Brought our car in a couple months ago for brakes and rotors. It was our first time using them. We got three quotes and they were the highest but we had heard good things so still decided to get the work done here. They called me after they started and told me they had broken both rear calipers when taking them off and now we have to buy new ones. Our car is only 5 years old. Argued with them for a while then we're told "you really don't have any other options because it's unsafe to drive now." Called the dealership and was told that although this can happen it is uncommon. Jamie argued with my wife about giving us the broken parts as he had to turn them in. I run a business and when I make a mistake I make sure to make it right or be as accommodating as possible. In my opinion this is just another dishonest mechanic and will never use again. Go to Dobbs which is literally in the same parking lot and charge less. read more

I rarely take the time to write a review but this place deserves one. My Mom had her car towed to Auto Care yesterday. She thought it was a problem with the starter. When she went to pick her car up, they said that the car started fine and they were not able to find any problem. She took her credit card out and they said, "no charge." My Mom is a "senior" (if you read this- sorry Mom!), and could probably be taken advantage of, but not these guys! They are a class act! They are honest and ethical. I have been going to Olive Fee Fee Auto Care for 6 years and I had such a poor experience my last 3 visits, I promised myself I would make a Yelp such that others didn't have the same experience. My last and final visit occurred on a Thursday morning when I walked in at 7:05 AM to drop off my car for my catalytic converter to be inspected. I walked in and didn't see anyone working the front counter so I sat down next to an older gentleman customer. I then noticed a round mirror that reflects from the back of the shop to the waiting room so that the workers can monitor customers in the waiting room. The mirror worked two ways, and to my surprise, there was a worker drinking his coffee, playing phone games, and ignoring me. I waited a minute, hoping that the worker might have just not seen/heard me come in and then walked back up to the counter and said, "Hello". The worker on his phone looked up and then continued back on his phone. The older gentlemen customer looked up from reading the daily newspaper and said, "They know we are here, they just like to make us wait." I patiently waited 10 more minutes until the worker on his phone finished his phone game and came to the front. I explained that the older gentleman in the waiting room was before me in line and the worker said very shortly, "We know who he is" and dismissed the older gentleman customer. The lack of customer service was shocking. I believe Olive Fee Fee Auto Care solely stays in business because of how convenient they are. They have a fantastic location that filters in a lot of neighborhood traffic. I firmly believe Olive Fee Fee Auto Care would not survive in any other location. I will be taking my cars elsewhere as I don't have time for them to play games and ignore me. read more
