I share the car with my daughter and our budget could not handle this type of repair, but it was not an option. The stress and worry about this was overwhelming. I decided to get another bid and drive by Bobby's Fenton Auto Repair everyday. So I stopped by and he was getting ready to close but was so kind. I explained the check engine light was coding a bad catalytic converter and the vehicle was barely running. He took down all my information and called the very next day. His estimate came back at 1/3 of the first bid. He scheduled me in within a week. He was very affordable and fast, I was even able to afford a tune up w/ new plugs. I dropped off the car before work and it was done and ready to be picked up by the time I got off work. Our vehicle is like driving a new car, we are so excited, no more issues at all and the check engine light hasn't come back on. Life has been so much better not worrying about what to do about repairs to the car. I will never trust anyone else with my vehicle. Thank you Bobby for great and affordable service.

It wouldn't roll back up and had come so far off track that it was sitting crooked. I had to manually get it back on track just to keep it closed until I could get an appointment. I called Legacy on a Thursday afternoon, and they let me know they could take a look at it the following Monday. I was grateful to get an appointment so quickly and decided to schedule an oil change as well since it was about time for one. After scheduling, I received a text confirmation and then a reminder the day before my appointment, which I really appreciated. On Monday morning, I arrived around 8:00 a.m. when they opened to check in and drop off my car. I was greeted right away, and the check-in process was quick and easy. They already had all of my vehicle concerns in the system, so they simply confirmed the details with me. Since it was my first time at this location, they also suggested a full vehicle inspection, which I knew would be helpful. Later that day, I received a text with a link to a detailed vehicle report. It clearly outlined what needed immediate attention (the driver's side window) and identified a few other items to keep an eye on. I really liked how the report included photos and easy-to-understand explanations. I called to review the costs of the window repair and oil change and also asked whether there were any other priority issues. The employee I spoke with was honest and straightforward, explaining that the other items could be addressed during a future visit if needed. A few hours later, I received a call letting me know my car was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I was still at work and wouldn't be able to make it before closing. They offered to send me a payment link and explained that they would place my keys in a secure lockbox outside so I could pick up the car later that evening. Super helpful! Overall, I really appreciated the honesty, communication, and level of service I received. The entire experience was smooth and professional from start to finish, and it's reassuring to know there's a trustworthy automotive shop nearby. I'll definitely be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

I was desperate to have it fixed and did not want to wait weeks to get an appointment at the dealership! So I took a chance and called Dobbs. When I called they said I could just drop my car off and they would be able to get to it either same day or next day...so that's exactly what I did. Last week, after work on a Friday, I drove to Dobbs. I walked inside to talk with the guys behind the counter and Christian helped me. He was quick to get the paperwork started and even offered to drive me back to my house so that I didn't have to request an Uber! I really didn't know they had shuttle service, but I am glad they do. Christian took down all the information for my car and then went outside to check the plates before he came back inside. Once we had the paperwork filled out, he told me that they would have it ready as soon as Saturday morning! Then he went to get the keys to the shuttle and drove me home. What a friendly dude! Thanks. Saturday morning I received a phone call to let me know my car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the guys behind the counter were chatting and having a good time and even included me in on the joke they were laughing at. I needed that energy-it was great! When I asked if they accepted the Yelp 15% discount, they informed me they did not which is not a big deal because a lot of places don't always offer that. They even told me that they did not know how to take it off, so here is my request for Yelp (Jason?) can you all remove that Yelp "check in" discount? Thanks! I did have a coupon handy though so I was able to use it and the guy even made another adjustment so that the cost wasn't too high. I appreciated that so much. After paying, I was handed my keys and was on my way. It was a quick visit and I am so glad that they got my car repaired. I know others have had poor experiences here, but my experience was all around a good one. Thanks, Dobbs!

The ONLY repairs he does are those that are needed. Trust is a hard thing to find and keep these days but I know through and through if Adam says its needed - then it's needed. Case in point. I had my 78 Corvette in for an oil change since it needed it and I'd be out of town for a month so I couldn't do it. What I didn't expect is that the oil person noticed a very few ever so slight and small silver specks when draining the oil. (No other place would have noticed I tell ya.) Come to find out I was losing a piston skirt on the #7 cylinder of the engine. I had to do the engine rebuild to fix it but that paying attention, to even the most mundane of tasks, was the difference in an easy rebuild of a couple grand or whole engine replacement from catastrophic failure totaling about over eight. No doubt there are good shops out there but I don't believe there is a better one than O'Keanes.
